Thanks @Groovee, that's how I interpreted it. So 2 sausages = 1 syn. Sausage, egg n beans for tea Grin

TheImprobableGirl · 09/02/2017 19:26

Rest of the day has gone:
B- bacon, tomatoes, spinach, beans, egg and mushrooms
S- pear
L- pizza And salad
S- plum
D- Cajun chicken with roasted veg (tomatoes, red onion, peppers and courgette) and maybe chickpeas!

Ended up having spag Bol with baked mushrooms and butternut squash on the side for dinner. Was meant to be something else but my head is still weird and I couldn't face cooking. Had some Parmesan do have probably gone over by a couple of syns but i was that close to going to the chippy that I am calling today a success.

ALemonyPea · 09/02/2017 20:09

Well done losers.

Love, if you want to have chocolate, have some, but stay within your syns, so maybe get some smaller pieces, like Lindor are 4 syns each, ferrero rocher are 3.5. Get someone to out them somewhere you can't get to them easily.

My vice is crisps, so I simply done have them in the house. I have Hula Hoop Pufts which are 3.5 syns, and they help curb the craving, but are certainly not going to make me eat several packets.

It's all about moderation, including pasta and potatoes. Remember, you're removing a third of your usual portions and replacing with a third speed foods, rather than adding the third on, reduces your calories but fills you as well.

2lb off at wi! Was expecting a gain after a terrible week. Have been stressing about it all week.

Have learnt one thing though - eating unplanned shite is not worth the worry it causes! Sticking firmly to plan with the odd, pre planned off day now.

basin that's great. And I bet you feel way better for choosing the healthier option.

Cauli pizza for tea for me.

Groovester · 09/02/2017 21:25

3.5lbs off for me tonight so got my 3 stone award and the bonus of being slimmer of the week. Delighted. Grin

Well done to all losers.

harderandharder2breathe · 09/02/2017 21:46

I'm afraid I had wetherspoons curry Blush

But will stay strictly on plan the rest of the week and aim just to not gain at WI on Wednesday.

Groovee · 09/02/2017 21:51

Went to my mums as it was her birthday and had a slice of cake at 14 syns. So worth it!

OwlinaTree · 09/02/2017 22:38

More to the point, how was the date harder?

Linda131963 · 10/02/2017 05:56

I was wondering about the date too ! X

SpaghettiMeatballs · 10/02/2017 06:47

A date! How exciting. Let's have some romance amongst the syns and lbs.

Well done Groovster. That's an amazing total loss.

Guest this weekend. It's going to be hard isn't it?

harderandharder2breathe · 10/02/2017 07:17

Haha thank you! Date was fine but no spark I don't think. But a pleasant evening regardless.

After curry and not being particularly good the last two days I've put on 2lbs since WI but I'm fairly confident I can shift that in the next 5 days if I'm good and stick to the plan rigidily

BasinHaircut · 10/02/2017 07:45

harder sometimes you have just got to have the treat so hope you enjoyed the curry!

clash yeah the way I felt te past couple of days I'm just glad I've managed to not completely cave in. It's the thought of my planned takeaway at the weekend that had helped keep me on track though. I'm looking forward to it Even more now.

Think my head is mostly better today but am staying home to make sure as I don't want to stare at a computer monitor all day and start it off again. Haven't had a bloody migraine for years and was only talking about them last week. Jinxed meself didn't I! Grin

Anyway today is going to be a much better day I can feel it. I'm not dizzy anymore so won't spend the day sitting on my arse thinking about what to eat next.

muminthecity · 10/02/2017 08:33

Well done losers!

I had a terrible day yesterday, the stress of the week caught up with me and I ended up soothing myself with bread, crisps, nuts and chocolate BlushSad. I don't know why I sabotage myself like this.

Going to have to do some serious damage limitation this week.

OwlinaTree · 10/02/2017 09:24

Shame there was no spark harder, glad it was a nice evening though.

spaghetti it's always tough with guests. One tip at meal times is to put everything out for people to serve themselves then you can just have sw friendly stuff. We did chilli and rice and tacos etc last time so I just had chilli and rice and one taco, avoided the guacamole etc. I did make your own pavlova for pudding, big bowl of fruit, mini meringue, whipping cream and fat free yoghurt. Then everyone helped themself and I could just have one meringue etc.

Can't help on the wine consumption though, that's always my downfall!

Lulooo · 10/02/2017 11:11

Improbable your pizza looks ace. What's the wholemeal bread mix and where can I get it?

ALemonyPea · 10/02/2017 11:35

The trick to guests is to do steaks with salads and roasts with plenty of veg. You can bulk your stuff up with speed and guests can have chips/potatoes. Also, big pans of soup.

I went to a farm shop today that everyone at my group keep talking about, very impressed and spent probably half of what I'd usually do at Tesco and it's so fresh. Plus they do 10% off for SW members. Managed to get fresh rhubarb for my crumble. Can't wait.

Mum, draw a line under yesterday, lower your syns to 5 a day until WI, you've got this.

Emmageddon · 10/02/2017 12:06

I am making a big pan of soup today, to last the next 2 days, because I am going away for a 3 day Valentine's break next Monday - Wednesday (weigh in on Thursday - eek!), and there will some wine drinking going on, as well as some eating off plan - although I intend to be mindful about what I eat. The hotel does a full English but it's buffet-style so hopefully I can get something relatively healthy - although I be the mushrooms and tomatoes will be fried and if there's scrambled egg, it will be made with full fat milk and butter.

I've lost just over a stone so far and I really don't want to go back to under a stone weight loss IYSWIM.

TheImprobableGirl · 10/02/2017 12:20

luloo it was the Tesco wholemeal crusty bread mix, made up with a bit of water (whatever the instructions say on the packet). You can use the Aldi wholemeal and the asda wholemeal bread mix too.
You can either make lots of bases up at once and chill them, or just make up a fifth of the pack which is what I did and then discarded what wasn't 120g. Obviously if not doing an sp day then it's only 60g of dough as your HEB and you could syn another 60g (6) if you wanted a pizza size pizza.

I frylighted the pizza pan, stretched it really thin and flat and then topped with passata/tom purée/ mixed herbs mix for the sauce, and put chicken, peppers and chillis on- topped with HEA reduced Fat Mozzarella (70g)

It was SO tasty! I tried one from cauliflower but it took about an hour and tasted like slime

ALemonyPea · 10/02/2017 14:10

welcome Star. What is it you're struggling with?

Improbable. I hate to say, the Tesco wholemeal bread flour isn't a healthy B, it's just the Aldi one now as the Asda one was taken off.

OP posts:
alibongo5 · 10/02/2017 15:40

I've made pizza bases with wholemeal flour and yeast (no sugar) and just hoped that these count as a Healthy B because I really object to buying packets when I can make from home-made. I'm not recommending it just in case it doesn't count but I am happy to take the risk myself.

muminthecity · 10/02/2017 18:31

Thank you Lemony, I have had a much better day today.

B - nothing, was still full from yesterday's binge Blush

muminthecity · 10/02/2017 18:33

Oops, posted too soon!

L - jacket potato with cheese (HEA) and beans and a side salad

D - chicken casserole, rice and a ton of speed veg

S - nothing yet but will have some sunbites popcorn later (2.5) and 2 hifis (HEB)

Hopefully ending the day on 2.5 syns to help balance out yesterday's disaster!
