I'm on it 100%!

Have 3 stone to lose, aiming for 1lb a week so all going well I'll be there by September

Have lost 1 stone 8 so far but haven't been motivated recently but I'm completely in the right frame of mind now and I'm going to do it

I've ordered 2 new sw cook books (curry one & fakeaway) and bought the 12 week journal so I've got some new ideas to try

Just weighed my healthy extras which is something I haven't done in months.

Today's plan
A - milk in coffee/cereal
B- wholemeal bread

Breakfast - scrambled eggs on toast
Lunch - tuna jacket & salad (2 syns Mayo)
Dinner - porky light sausages (1), mash, veg, bisto (2)

👋🏻 everyone, can I join you? I joined SW last week; I have 1.5 stone to lose but set my first target at 1 stone off. I really want it to work ! We've booked our first holiday abroad in years and I want to be comfortable in my own skin by the pool!

So my "free" dinner didn't quite go to plan. Ended up making a pasta bake with cheese, philly light and a bit of pesto - by the time I portioned it I think it works out to be around 8 syns max. Worth it for a tasty dinner I guess!

Oh god, love pesto. Sounds yummy and still within the syns. I've just roasted a load of veg. Going to mix it in with cous cous for my work lunch. It's my standard lunch on SW. Will get bored soon. Unfortunately, my office won't allow a toaster (hate them) and they have 1 really crap microwave which is shared among 20 people so ideally the food lunch will be cold as hate having my 30 mins eaten up by queuing in the smallest saddest kitchen ever (with no windows) with the kitchen controllers.

Ooh roasted veg and couscous sounds really nice thingy. How about adding sliced new potatoes to it for something different too. Maybe mix your flavored up. I intended to make a big batch of soup up tonight but haven't sorted it yet. I've got basil and tomatoes in so will do it tomorrow.

I usually roast red pepper, courgette, aubergine, red onion and squash but bought frozen squash which turned out horrible!
First day back to work tomorrow after Xmas holidays- dreading it!

What kind of couscous do you use Thingymabob? I need new lunchbox ideas. I feel I've had a better day today. Walked 14,750 steps so feel much more active. Weigh in tomorrow YIKES!!

Weigh in today and I've lost 5lbs! Down to 13.7 still far too heavy but a good start! I want to lose another 5lbs before the end of the month if possible. Happy with this to start me off though!

Weighed this morning and have only lost 1.5lb. Am now 11st 1.5lb. I know it's still a loss but when I had a sneaky weigh on Friday I'd lost 2.5lb. Never mind. Onwards and upwards. Will keep trying (weight is so much harder to shift post 40!!).

Fat loser - well done. A loss is still a loss! Have you heard of happy scales? It's an app where you add your weight daily (or however often you weigh) and it works out your true weight from the fluctuations. Might be worth a go since you've had a variation? I'm quite visual so I like to see the chart!

Well done to everyone on their losses!
I'm having left over SW chilli con carne for dinner. We had it Saturday night, it was delicious!
I'm back to work tomorrow, trying to figure out what would be good to bring; any suggestions?

Well done on all the losses today. Thanks for the app suggestion theresalways I'll have a look at that. I tried that courgette spaghetti for tea. I had it with a load of veg in a tomato sauce. It was very nice...wondering if I'll be starving in an hour though.

Oh I love courgetti! Good choice! We bought a spiraliser in November and I use it almost every time I cook - so handy!

Bit frustrated this morning as weighed self and not dropped a pound since last thurs (I had already dropped the 5lbs by then). Hoping for a whoosh! Been using happy scales and it's saying my true weight is less but I like to see it on the scales too!

Morning! Can I join? I started SW at home on the 2nd and I want to loose 3 stones at least. My DH is doing it with me for the first time which is handy as he's a great cook. Only thing is, one the first day, he made us a turkey curry in the slow cooker and after a quick run through of SW rules, he was off. Only thing is, he threw everything in the slow cooker before I got up, including a can of coconut milk!!! Argh!!!!

Anyway, two weeks in and we're on track. I've lost four pounds and he's lost a "few". He's disappointed how slow it's going as he usually does low-carb and sees fast results. I'm so glad he's joined me though because low carbing meant more pans, more cooking and more money!

For breakfast, I've had mullerlight.
For lunch I've made a flash of pretend Heinz tomato soup (as per Two Chubby Cubs)
Tea tonight will be Beef and Tomato casserole in the slow cooker (6 syncs between three of us), mash and veg.
I will be drinking tea (using my A), water, and snaking on apples and two Alpen lights (Hex B)

I have also joined the local leisure center Shock. Paying DD monthly so will have to go!! So swimming tonight, gym tomorrow and swimming again Thursday. Might be doing a spot of yoga at home if I can be bothered, on other nights. I really don't like keeping fit so I have to drag myself out the door.

Have a good day Smile
