I'm on it 100%!

Have 3 stone to lose, aiming for 1lb a week so all going well I'll be there by September

Have lost 1 stone 8 so far but haven't been motivated recently but I'm completely in the right frame of mind now and I'm going to do it

I've ordered 2 new sw cook books (curry one & fakeaway) and bought the 12 week journal so I've got some new ideas to try

Just weighed my healthy extras which is something I haven't done in months.

Today's plan
A - milk in coffee/cereal
B- wholemeal bread

Breakfast - scrambled eggs on toast
Lunch - tuna jacket & salad (2 syns Mayo)
Dinner - porky light sausages (1), mash, veg, bisto (2)

I've had a hungry day today, I've stayed under my syns but I ate enough pasta to feed 3 for dinner 😩😩

Well done on your loss oly5 I was tempted to weigh myself today but I think it would have made !e chgchgeat over the weekend so I'm waiting until Monday.

I haven't really has anything exciting recipe wise this week, I may give the diet coke chicken a go next week.

TheresAlwaysTimeForTea · 06/01/2017 17:36

Can I join please? I've been an online SW member for a while but sort of dip in and out as have no group to keep me in check! Determined to stick to it this time. I want to lose three stone.

I'm going to weigh in on Mondays. Last Monday I was 13st12 Blushmortified! I've stuck to plan all week so hoping for a decent result on Monday. I want to lose 10lbs in Jan if possible (I've managed that before when losing weight for my wedding a few years ago).

Thingymaboob · 06/01/2017 18:35

Welcome to the group.
Having a rough day today. Woke up so tired. Time of month lurking anytime now.
B: two slices of toast HE with quark and smoked salmon.
1/4 melon and Apple.
L: Salmon fillet with salad. Light mayo 2 syns, balsamic glaze 1 syn 20g feta (1/2 HE rest HE milk in tea.) I halve the cheese and milk HE and have both but count as one as they're equivalent.
Snack: chicken slices
Dinner: chicken, sweet potato, carrot and lentil curry with curried cauliflower and rice.
Feeling so grumpy

Another good day here food-wise and have been so busy I've clocked up 13,800 steps 😄. It's film night for my kids on a Friday so I'm surrounded by pick-n-mix, not going to eat any though (although I REALLY want to). Diet Coke chicken sounds good, how do you do it?
Well done on the loss Oly5 x

Thingymaboob · 06/01/2017 19:35

I par boiled some cauliflower in chicken and veg stock. Covered with fry light and korma curry spice blend. Hope it tastes good!

Looks delicious!

Beckyr86 · 06/01/2017 20:30

Ooooh looks really nice, i might try that, can't stop eating so trying to keep it syn free

fraggle84 · 06/01/2017 21:01

I've just ordered a breville halo air fryer so I'm planning sw burger & chips tomorrow to test it out

Thingymaboob · 06/01/2017 21:26

I absolutely love the cauliflower. I also added salt to it. Really good. You can sprinkle any spice combo on them. So full.

Thingymaboob · 06/01/2017 21:27

However, I would eat a choc fudge cake if it was available

Thingymaboob · 07/01/2017 11:22

How's everyone getting on?
It's now time of the month for me which is when I normally reach for grab bags of chocolate and order a takeaway pizza. Hmmmm. This weekend is going to be tough. Got a hike planned later but it's quite rainy and got cramps!

TheresAlwaysTimeForTea · 07/01/2017 12:04

Wow that cauliflower looks amazing. We had a fakeaway last night - salt and pepper chicken with noodles. It was so nice! I've had omelette this morning with cheese and veg and we are having sweet potato and chicken curry for tea. Not having lunch as are breakfast quite late. Need to plan meals tonight for the week so I can be organized this week.

Fatloser · 07/01/2017 12:12

All your dinners sound delicious. Where are you getting all your recipes from?

Thingymaboob · 07/01/2017 12:18

Have quite a few recipe books but I frequently use these two blogs:
twochubbycubs
Slimming eats
Two chubby cubs is so funny and recipes are great
Slimming eats has a great variety but she uses a lot of HEs in her recipes and syns

Thingymaboob · 07/01/2017 12:23

Fatloser · 07/01/2017 15:39

Thanks I'll have a look.

TheresAlwaysTimeForTea · 07/01/2017 18:41

Oh you need to read the chubby cubs blog - the two guys that write it are hilarious. It's good for some ideas and inspiration. I mainly just use the SW website and Pinterest for ideas. I make make some soups this week for lunches as I had a big box of veg delivered and want to use it up.

Thingymaboob · 07/01/2017 22:27

Used more syns than would have wanted to today.
B: HE bread, quark and eggs smoked salmon
Lunch: salmon salad 2 syns mayo 1 dressing
Dinner: steak (all fat removed) SW chips, salad and tomato ketchup 1 syn 1 tsp rapeseed oil 2 syns
11g options hot choc with HE milk 2 syns
Rocky Rd bar 3 syns
12 syns in all! I don't tend to lose if I use a lot of syns! Time of month is a bugger

TheresAlwaysTimeForTea · 08/01/2017 07:14

Aww don't worry too much thingy - you're still under 15 so that's good. Maybe up the water intake and speed foods for a few days and see how it goes. I had a bit of bread and some choc yesterday but I don't think I went over syns.

Breakfast today has been free omelette with HE toast and bit of cheese. Having leftover sat and pepper chicken for lunch. Not decided on dinner yet but will try to make it a free one. I've brought a mango and some berries to snack on too as working today.

Weighing in tomorrow!

fraggle84 · 08/01/2017 08:47

I had a good day yesterday, used 8 syns and enjoyed all my food.

Tonight I'm going to plan my weeks food. I'm going to do the KFC style chicken, some sort of curry, and possibly Diet Coke chicken.

Dh is out tonight so I'm going to have a play with the new air fryer, ive seen some nice breakfasts with cubed potatoes, sausages, beans, mushrooms and egg that I'm going to try out

I don't think I'll have hit my 3lb target this week as I haven't been writing everything down but I've ordered the 12 week food diary so I'll definitely do better from Tuesday

Beckyr86 · 08/01/2017 09:17

I had a bad day yesterday, I think I stayed under my syns but I really overdone it on carbs with hardly SF foods, my time of the month is approaching so I know I'll be fine in a couple of days, I've made a plan for today which I'll try and stick to,
Hopefully it will be
B. Wholemeal toast with dairylea and tomatoes
L. Lentil and carrot soup
D. Spaghetti and meatballs
I've filled my two litre jug with water too to make sure I drink plenty

Fatloser · 08/01/2017 10:04

To had an ok day yesterday. Ate well but stayed in all day so felt like I should really have got out for a walk. Aiming to bob into town today and will take the kids out for a run on the beach (them running, not me!!) I think fresh air and moving my fat arse will make me feel better.

Thingymaboob · 08/01/2017 10:10

I'm food obsessed! Need to plan week ahead and feeling rather stressed. First day back to work tomorrow after 2 weeks off. I really don't get on with my manager. Really stressed about seeing him!
