I'm on it 100%!

Have 3 stone to lose, aiming for 1lb a week so all going well I'll be there by September

Have lost 1 stone 8 so far but haven't been motivated recently but I'm completely in the right frame of mind now and I'm going to do it

I've ordered 2 new sw cook books (curry one & fakeaway) and bought the 12 week journal so I've got some new ideas to try

Just weighed my healthy extras which is something I haven't done in months.

Today's plan
A - milk in coffee/cereal
B- wholemeal bread

Breakfast - scrambled eggs on toast
Lunch - tuna jacket & salad (2 syns Mayo)
Dinner - porky light sausages (1), mash, veg, bisto (2)

All very quiet here!

I had banana for breakfast today and some veggie sushi for lunch. Need to think of a healthy dinner. Was bad last night and had Chinese takeaway for a valentines treat. So nice though!

Thingymaboob · 15/02/2017 14:58

Thingymaboob · 16/02/2017 20:47

DH drove me to SW meeting.
I put on 0.5lb.
Not shocked as been pretty inactive.
Eaten quite a bit!
Been totally off diet today.
Still off work with chest infection.
Not giving up!

Fatloser · 17/02/2017 13:55

Half a pound is to be expected with being off work and on steroids I'm sure. I am struggling to eat enough veg. I get in late and end up just microwaving what I've defrosted that day - lasagne, bolognese etc and can't be arsed doing veg with them. Have just bought a spiraliser and am thinking pasta type sauces and spiral veg for a while. Now need all your pasta sauce recipes please xx

Thingymaboob · 17/02/2017 17:11

Spiralised courgette is the best.
Cook butternut squash then blitz it with a tin of tomatoes and some Italian herb blend.

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 20/02/2017 04:57

I've put a sodding pound on!!! Right I need drastic measures - help. I am meant to be 14lbs down by this stage and I'm only 8 (and that's not counting the increase!!)

I need something to shift it. Cut off a leg?! Ideas please! I am so shite at diets.

Fatloser · 20/02/2017 07:16

I'm not at home this morning so can't weigh but yesterday I'd lost 2lb (usually goes back up on a Monday which is my actual weigh day). I am going to make a massive effort to make sure I eat plenty of veg. I've got my spiraliser so will try to have bolognese, stir fries a lot this week with spiral courgette and butternut squash instead of pasta. I have friends over on Tuesday and am providing cakes so I'm torn between I'll have a day off and eat cakes OR I'll buy a bit lf nice fruit and stick with that. Tricky! You can do it. Try going back to basics and writing down exactly what you're eating. X

Thingymaboob · 21/02/2017 21:15

Being really good during the day. But really like wine in evening!

Thingymaboob · 23/02/2017 18:14

So quiet here! Everyone ok? I'm relieved to say I've lost a pound this week! Yay!

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 23/02/2017 18:21

I've had a terrible week diet wise. Feel bloated and massive. Going to cut carbs for a bit I think. I was wondering should we start a new thread and try and get a few more folk on board - see if we can get a bit of momentum going?

OwlinaTree · 23/02/2017 19:43

Why don't you join in the support thread? Lots of chat and meal ideas on there.

Thingymaboob · 23/02/2017 22:03

I find it very difficult to keep up on big threads...

Fatloser · 24/02/2017 07:20

I've had my first not great week since New Year. It's half term and I had friends over and ate cake. The cake has hung around my house since and after a particularly hideous visit from in laws I hit the cake again. I REALLY want to get back my iron will. This always happens, I allow myself one treat and that's it, slippery slope 🍰🐷. I'm going to try double hard today.

Marypoppinsisnosaint · 24/02/2017 13:17

Hello all, can I join you all?

I started sw pretty much at the same time as this thread was started. I've set my goal as 7 stone by this time next year. I'm trying to average on 2lb a week, so far I'm down 1st 2lb.

The trouble is I'm currently on maternity until Monday, so far it's been easy to plan and cook my meals. I'm concerned when I go back it's all going to go to pot. Fingers crossed I can keep myself organised and on track.

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 24/02/2017 13:25

Wow Marypoppins - welcome aboard! What is your secret? You've lost loads!!

Marypoppinsisnosaint · 24/02/2017 14:19

No secret to be honest. I find I need to plan and write everything down. I've also done a weekly diary that I fill in every weigh day. That way I can read it back when I'm finding it rough and just remind myself why I wanted to do this in the first place. Lastly I've found a really horrible recent picture of me that I've stuck in the kitchen as a reminder of how I don't want to look.

Fatloser · 26/02/2017 20:38

Welcome marypoppins I had a really bad day yesterday but have been totally on it today. I had an Alpen light for breakfast, couscous with roasted veg for lunch followed by fruit. Bolognese and courgetti for tea with fruit and yoghurt for afters. I must stick to this. Weigh in tomorrow, not expecting it to make me happy 😳

Thingymaboob · 27/02/2017 20:45

Oh my god. Tried porky lights tonight and they're bloody lush!

Fatloser · 27/02/2017 20:59

What are they? I was 10st7.8 this morning so that's nearly a pound on during half term. I've had a good day today so hoping it'll just drop back off again x

Thingymaboob · 27/02/2017 22:32

They are low syn sausages. 0.5 syns each. So tasty. Taste like a real sausage. I have put on over weekend but trying to be good this week.
Tomorrow: 2 eggs
1 Kellogg's bar
Salmon fillet with salad and spiralised courgette
Chicken stir fry.
If I have a bad day two days I'm not going to agonise over it. I'm just going to try my best to be good the next day. Trying to get pregnant currently so don't want to lose weight suddenly as it will affect my cycle. Slowly slowly wins the race. Keep going everyone!

Thingymaboob · 27/02/2017 22:32

Porky lights

Fatloser · 28/02/2017 06:48

Ooh I must try them. No point agonising about a bad weekend. Am just spending 4 syns on a bablespoon of Nutella...soooo worth it!! Good luck with the getting pregnant. It took me aaaaaages! Xx

Marypoppinsisnosaint · 02/03/2017 15:24

Hi everyone,

Had my weigh day yesterday and I've taken another 1.5lb off. Pleased with the result especially after my birthday weekend. Eaten everything in sight since then though ( so glad we've gone cold turkey with regards to buying "treats" in) hopefully I can get back on track.

Have you heard about the porky lights? What do we all think? I was going to try them but decided not to now.

Fatloser · 02/03/2017 21:01

Well done, 1.5lb is great. What do we need to know about porky lights? 🐷
