New year & new start

I'm on it 100%!

Have 3 stone to lose, aiming for 1lb a week so all going well I'll be there by September

Have lost 1 stone 8 so far but haven't been motivated recently but I'm completely in the right frame of mind now and I'm going to do it

I've ordered 2 new sw cook books (curry one & fakeaway) and bought the 12 week journal so I've got some new ideas to try

Just weighed my healthy extras which is something I haven't done in months.

Today's plan
A - milk in coffee/cereal
B- wholemeal bread

Breakfast - scrambled eggs on toast
Lunch - tuna jacket & salad (2 syns Mayo)
Dinner - porky light sausages (1), mash, veg, bisto (2)

I checked with the caterers and the veg sausages are deep fat fried.

Such a stressful course today. Only leaving work now. Going to have wine today by 100% back on it tomorrow

Good week again for me in spite of cakes in the staff room again. Went shopping yesterday so am going to make chicken and bacon lasagne and pork meatballs for the freezer so I can eat them during the week. How did yesterday go Thingamyboob? Wonder where the op on this thread went.

My day was ok yesterday. Had no syns during the day but had 2 glasses of wine in evening! Oooops. Having a yummy SW breakfast today but I am going out for a meal with 6 friends tonight. I'm driving so I'm not tempted to drink and I hate whisky (Robert burns night). It's 3 couples. 2 of us are bridesmaids for the other one and we are going to wedding venue to check it out. Won't have much control over food but hope to make sensible choices

I just made a lovely SW chicken satay for tea. Determined to have a better week this week but then we are off to a wedding and skiing so will not be on plan next week! (Ps - it's TheresAlwaysTimeForTea - I had a name change)

You ladies (am assuming you're ladies) have so many more social engagements than me...much easier to stick to plan when you're in your pyjamas by 7!! I am in fact going out tonight to visit a friend, she is wanting to be my real life SW buddy so it'll be a wild night of looking at SW recipes and making a plan 😎😎. I'm so rock n roll!! My DS has a friend to sleepover tonight so at least I can leave them with DH and stay away from the 8 year old ridiculousness!!

Burns night was ok. Went for fish option and didn't have dessert. Drank small glass of wine at beginning of night.

Well done, you have a Will of iron!! I've had an odd day today. Just had a pear for breakfast and then have been cooking. Ate a heck sausage which is 0.5syns and then baked with my kids and ate the head off the broken gingerbread man (only a teeny gingerbread man. That's the first time I've just picked something unhealthy and eaten it since I started. Should have eaten lunch then wouldn't have been hungry. 3.40 now. Too late for lunch, too early for tea 😭😭

Preparing my week. Sick of veg cous cous so going to have lentil and salmon or chicken salad. Been to Aldi and done a big shop. Did make a yummy frangipan yesterday with pistachios and raspberries. Having dinner with in laws tonight and MIL doesn't get SW and I will just eat what she's made. It's normally pretty healthy though. No excuses this week. Got no social things and work is back to normal

Weighed in this morning and am 150.2lb. That means I've lost a good half stone in January. Feeling happy with that. Another good week now needed...

Weigh in this morning and down another pound so 8 lbs off in Jan which is a good start. Annoying that it's dropping off by a pound a week now - sloowwww. Need to ramp it up a bit. Only a few more days of work and then I'm off to a wedding and skiing - I imagine the food will not be SW friendly but hopefully the exercise will help! Really don't want to undo everything!

Well done. 8lb is great. I find if it comes off slower it goes back on slower so what you put on in a week away will surely just drop off again when you get back...hopefully anyway!

Good mentality loser - I'll just try and keep the water levels up as I think that helps and make healthier choices where I can. I was hoping I could lose 2 lbs a week but I think that might be ambitious! How are you finding it?

Hopefully - well done on your 8 lb loss. I started 2 weeks ago and lost 4 lb. I am off to Italy for a week soon and like you don't expect SW friendly menus around Rome 😕

Banana.
2 boiled eggs
Salmon salad with mayo + dressing 3 syns
Going to have a carrot, sweet potatoe lentil and chicken curry.
Going to drink 3 pints of water and eat 1/2 melon.

Muller light Greek style yogurt
Mushroom and bacon carbonara
Curly wurly
9 syns altogether.
Craving a white buttery baguette with chicken mayo so bad!!

Well done Thingy. Good day for me too although am full of cold and thinking some chocolate might make me feel better. Not going to have any though. Special k bar sounds good for HE. Are there any other cereal bars we can have as HE?

I think you can have alpen light bars as HE but not sure. I always use mine on bread. Had an ok few days - mostly salad for lunch and beans on toast for breakfast. I had a glass of wine on Monday and I've had a bag of crisps and some chocolate over the week but still under syns. I'm going to plan a few menus out when I'm back from my week away.

What was up with the carbonara? Just not tasty?

Lost another 2lb. 6 lb in three weeks
