I'm on it 100%!

Have 3 stone to lose, aiming for 1lb a week so all going well I'll be there by September

Have lost 1 stone 8 so far but haven't been motivated recently but I'm completely in the right frame of mind now and I'm going to do it

I've ordered 2 new sw cook books (curry one & fakeaway) and bought the 12 week journal so I've got some new ideas to try

Just weighed my healthy extras which is something I haven't done in months.

Today's plan
A - milk in coffee/cereal
B- wholemeal bread

Breakfast - scrambled eggs on toast
Lunch - tuna jacket & salad (2 syns Mayo)
Dinner - porky light sausages (1), mash, veg, bisto (2)

Well done!!!

Thingymaboob · 01/02/2017 19:12

Have gone over syns today. Only by 5?! Will be more careful tomorrow

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 02/02/2017 05:24

Well done thingy - I've hit a bit of a wall now. I'm off on hols for a week so not sure how that will work out for diet!

Thingymaboob · 02/02/2017 10:41

Enjoy holiday! Don't worry about food on holiday!

Namesarehard · 02/02/2017 10:47

Can i join please? My first wi tomorrow. I have 21 lb until my goal weight. Sneeky peek tells me I've lost 2 lb but we'll see. I know you shouldn't look but tough titty, I'm nosey lol.
I went for a few weeks last year and lost wlb my first week then also. It'll be interesting if I follow the same pattern.
On my period this week too so staying away from chocolate has been interesting. I know I can syn it but if I start I won't stop so kept my distance. Last month I would binge on it. Not good. Hoping it won't take too long to get the weight off. Was suprised that I only gained 2 lb since leaving last February. Don't know how but I'm not complaining.

Loving this thread. Hope you don't mind me jumping in.

Fatloser · 02/02/2017 16:11

Jumpers in are welcome...good luck with the WI tomorrow.

Thingymaboob · 02/02/2017 18:47

Yes please join! Welcome. Went to my official weigh in tonight and only lost 1/2 lb- not 2 as I thought from boots scales yesterday Sad. I absolutely hate my group. I was walking towards the weigh in queue and this woman pushed in and shimmied her daughter in too. No apologies. There are some horrible women at my group.

Fatloser · 02/02/2017 18:49

Cheeky cows. I hate people like that. Does going to group help you stick to it? 0.5lb is ok. At least it's still going down.

Thingymaboob · 02/02/2017 18:58

Going and weighing helps me stick at it. The routine. I don't stay for meetings but now my group leader stands at the door and looks disapproving when you leave.
I did eat a big pizza this week and had a meal out so cannot complain. Need to start writing things down again as syns creep in.

Fatloser · 02/02/2017 20:37

Yes writing down helps. Make next week a really good one. I'm going out for a meal tomorrow night for the first time since new year. Am worried it'll make me fall off the wagon completely. My period is massively overdue and I'm wishing it'd just come!!!

Thingymaboob · 02/02/2017 21:03

Just enjoy your meal. As long as you're good rest of week it'll be fine.
I'm going to make next week really good. Am visiting my grandmother in law and I always make her a cake and we go out for dinner. I'm not really drinking at the moment. My SW journey is all about making better choices the majority of the time. I started last January and although I didn't stick at group I am a stone lighter than I was a year ago. Must be doing something right!

Fatloser · 02/02/2017 21:06

That's a good outlook. I suppose this way of eating isn't just a temporary diet and it has to fit in with real life. I shall enjoy my meal with your blessing x😇

Thingymaboob · 02/02/2017 21:16

The thing is, I need to alter my relationship with food. If I go out for a meal, I want to enjoy it and not feel guilty. However, for 80% - 90% of the time I want to be 100% slimming world. If I feel deprived, I'll binge and give up. I have a long term goal. If I lose 0.5lb a week for year, that's 1-2 stone! I know you can do it faster but I need to do it slow. Once went on a diet (Cambridge) and lost 2 stone in 5 weeks. Put weight back on straight away. I'm a classic yoyo dieter.

Fatloser · 02/02/2017 21:27

Me too. It's feast or famine for me. I'm really good when I'm on it but once i lose it I just go mad and eat loads of chocolate. Wish I could just be generally sensible most of the time.

Thingymaboob · 02/02/2017 22:22

That's what I need to work on. Moderation most of the time.

Linda131963 · 03/02/2017 06:14

Thingymaboob your comments about group made me laugh ! I have joined and left before because l hated staying to group ! This time different group but just as bad ! Hope everyone has had a good week ! X

Namesarehard · 03/02/2017 10:16

Had my first wi this . 3.5lb off. Landed :-)

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 03/02/2017 13:25

Well done names! Well I'm officially on day one of "hols" and I had a fry up breakkie and a gorgeous cherry cocktail and just going to have another one! Sod it! Will get back on it once back x

Fatloser · 03/02/2017 17:38

Enjoy your holiday x

Namesarehard · 03/02/2017 20:13

Thank you. Hope you have a great holiday.

Thingymaboob · 03/02/2017 22:00

Been so good until today
My colleague brought in these amazing coconut macaroons in Belgium chocolate. 4 syns each. I ate 7! New day tomorrow!!!

Fatloser · 05/02/2017 07:28

Had a pretty good weekend. Went out Friday night and had cheeseburger and chips and chocolate when I got home. Had a good day yesterday to make up for it. Hoping it won't make a massive difference to my WI tomorrow.

Thingymaboob · 05/02/2017 10:11

I've honestly been trying this weekend but been eating out! Going to have a super good week. Am going to make a roasted veg and macaroni frittata tonight for lunch this week.

Thingymaboob · 05/02/2017 19:11

After a poor weekend on diet, I'm all organised for a fantastic week. Just made this roasted veg and macaroni frittata - 7 eggs, cottage cheese, courgette, peppers, spinach, onion, butternut squash, broccoli and macaroni all mixed in and baked in oven. I'll 1/4 the portion and have it for 3 days (my DH will have a slice too) don't think it'll keep until Thursday. Going for porridge every morning- planning on a very low syn week. How's everyone else doing?

New year & new start
Fatloser · 05/02/2017 20:00

That looks good but I'm not a big fan of egg really. Can manage scrambled egg and chocolate eggs but don't think I'd like that. I've had a good day. Couscous for lunch, jacket potato and bolognese for tea. Fruit in between and a special k bar as HE. Going to have a good week - determined!!
