New year & new start

I'm on it 100%!

Have 3 stone to lose, aiming for 1lb a week so all going well I'll be there by September

Have lost 1 stone 8 so far but haven't been motivated recently but I'm completely in the right frame of mind now and I'm going to do it

I've ordered 2 new sw cook books (curry one & fakeaway) and bought the 12 week journal so I've got some new ideas to try

Just weighed my healthy extras which is something I haven't done in months.

Today's plan
A - milk in coffee/cereal
B- wholemeal bread

Breakfast - scrambled eggs on toast
Lunch - tuna jacket & salad (2 syns Mayo)
Dinner - porky light sausages (1), mash, veg, bisto (2)

Well done loser! I am not following my diet at all in Italy - god knows what the damage will be when I get back! I'm hoping the skiing will help shift a few calories!

No. still going but been a bit poorly so been going to work but then going to bed. Not weighing this week as been on steroids and very tired!! You guys ok? I'm doing my best but having 15 syns a day.

I am dreading weigh in when I get back from Italy - wine, cheese, bread! Definitely synful! I'm hoping the skiing is burning some of the calories off 😳

Wow, would love to be skiing in Italy. Have a yummy time.
Today : milk HE, bran flakes HE rest milk in tea
Pasta and roasted veg frittata
Snack - fat free yoghurt & mini babybell 2 syns
Dinner- salmon sugar snap peas, steamed leeks and SW potatoes. 2 syns mayo

Ahh glad you're all still there. Really hard when you're poorly, you're doing well not to go crazy hungry on steroids. Enjoy the holiday Hopefully, plenty of time for healthy eating when you get home.

I swear everything here is served dripping in butter or oil! Food is so rich. Hoping I've not done too much damage.

Am fed up. Have had a couple of sneaky weighs this week and have been up half a pound. Put it down to my period, which has no pretty much finished but still 159.4lb this morning. Surely I can't still blame my period? I've eaten the same as always. 😡

You are weighing yourself too much. You're not going to see a difference that quickly. Leave it and weigh Monday. Your body fluctuated by about 2kg everyday especially around period.

Post holiday weigh in - I'm up 2.5/3lbs (was 5lbs earlier today so hoping it's water retention). My weigh in day is Monday so I'm going to stick to low carb and lots of water til then.

I agree it's going a bit quiet on the thread. How about we all agree to try and post our food diaries from this week? Keep us all motivated and give us a few new ideas maybe. I need a good rest of Feb to stay on track.

Well i took my kids to McDonalds today and didn't eat a single thing AND I was really hungry. Impressive?

I have come home and had quorn burger and rice instead!
3lb isn't bad. You could've done way worse than that.

That's a very good idea.
I am going out for Sunday lunch tomorrow but I've made lentil curry for lunch this week.
Bought some fibreones - they're very small!
3lb is fine! It'll come off in no time.
I'm weighing Thursday. Won't have weighed fir 2 weeks. Been on steroid so been starving! Eaten much more than I should have but back to group this week and on mend so no excuses.

So yesterday was a bit of a strange day as just back from hols so slept a lot. Had two slices of whole meal toast with low fat cheese. Then two mini flavoured milks. Few cups of tea. Options hot choc with mini mallows and low fat whip. Then quorn burgers on bed of toast with cheese and sliced pepper. Bit odd but we had no burger buns!

So far today I've had cup of tea and a banana. Going to grab a salad for lunch. Will make a carb free dinner this evening - chicken and broccoli (or similar).

I'm going to stick to low/no carbs for rest of feb if poss.

I'm having mushroom omelette for breakfast.
Going out for Sunday lunch today which I will enjoy.
Am cooking a nice stew tonight which I will have for dinner through week with lentil curry for lunch. The lentil curry really makes me fart though!!

Back to pre holiday weight so I think the gain was just water retention! Delighted. So will be on it from now on to ensure a good loss for rest of month! I'm doing a 100 happy days challenge ( just for myself to boost positivity etc) and my 100 days concludes on my target date (if manage to lose 2lbs a week) so something to aim towards!

Dinner last night was quorn tacos on lettuce wraps.

Weighed in this morning, 148.4lb. So not quite a pound this week 😡. Think i need to up the speed foods again. Will be glad when I'm under 10 and a half stone.

It's annoying having a slow week! Up your water intake as that tends to help. You've not got far to go!

Forgot to take food into work
Breakfast : egg and mushroom omelette
Lunch: m&s cannelloni with ricotta and spinach count on us 6.5 syns
Snack: super noodles
Apple, banana
Fibre 1 4 syns
Bread HE with 1 syn spread
Stew tonight with veg
Approx 11.5 syns.
Can live with that.

Oh thingy hope you feel better soon. You're doing well to even think of syns while sick!

Today I've had -

Fat free vanilla yoghurt with banana for breakfast
Hollowed out wholewheat baguette (7 in) with cheese tomato and avocado for lunch
And
No added sugar peanut butter on toast for dinner - left it too late to cook a proper meal.

Not the best but ok.

Moved down into the 'overweight' category on BMI! Officially not obese! Hahah! I know everyone says it but I really do think those charts are skewed. I'm only a size 14 and 5ft 6 but it says I'm nearly obese. I think I have lead bones! When people put up their info they are a similar size but weigh a lot less than me! So odd!

Anyway today I've had peanut butter on toast for breakfast, a banana and a hollowed out baguette for lunch again. Will need to think about dinner. Not planned it yet.
