New year & new start

I'm on it 100%!

Have 3 stone to lose, aiming for 1lb a week so all going well I'll be there by September

Have lost 1 stone 8 so far but haven't been motivated recently but I'm completely in the right frame of mind now and I'm going to do it

I've ordered 2 new sw cook books (curry one & fakeaway) and bought the 12 week journal so I've got some new ideas to try

Just weighed my healthy extras which is something I haven't done in months.

Today's plan
A - milk in coffee/cereal
B- wholemeal bread

Breakfast - scrambled eggs on toast
Lunch - tuna jacket & salad (2 syns Mayo)
Dinner - porky light sausages (1), mash, veg, bisto (2)

I think I did OK yesterday, although need to make a bit of a plan with food we already have in.

I had Jazzed up Beans for lunch (it's a SW recipe) and DH made a tuna pasta bake for my dinner, measured out HeA cheese and a third salad.

I've a bit of a love for mayonnaise, and need to swap it out for something else. Any suggestions?

Apple, melon, banana
Special K bar HE
Alpen light 3 syns
Grilled fish with roasted veg cous cous. 3 syns for mayo & dressing
Ending on 6 syns

Well done. I made your roasted veg couscous for my lunches at work. I cooked some of those heck sausages and chopped them up in it, hoping that'll be nice!

Good eating day for me, banana for breakfast, whole grain rice and queen burger for lunch, a pear and it's slimming world lasagne for tea with lots of veg. Weigh in tomorrow. Praying it'll be better than last week!!

I have just made a huge batch of roasted veg cous cous. Got a horrific week at work coming up. Very very long days. Sausages in cous cous sounds nice! I sometimes steam some salmon but I usually have feta (HE) in it. Going to boil some eggs for breakfast tomorrow and Tuesday. I have a magnetic white board for my fridge with days of week on it. It helps me plan what I'm going to have and stick to it.
I'm glad I'm back on it. Weigh in on Wednesday

Weighed in this morning and I'm the same as last week. Bit disappointed tbh. I've lost seven pounds in total in January but was hoping to drop to 8lbs loss this week as it was fluctuating lower during the week. I only count the loss if it's there on a Monday (if that makes sense).

I'll just make sure I keep to plan as much as possible this week! At least it's not a gain!

Keep going, at least it hasn't gone up. I only count what the scales say on a Monday too. Really frustrating if it's not as good as it's been in the week. I think that's happened to me every week. But...I'VE LOST 2lb!!!!! That's a miracle for me. That means just over 5lb in January. Not great, but going in the right direction 😊

Decided to go to group tonight as haven't weighed for 12 days. Another 1lb gone. Was hoping for 2!
Know I was off plan for 2 days but bit disappointed. I'm also so tired and so cold! Want a gravy dinner!
I'm also sick of cous cous but cannot think of anything as satisfying to eat at lunch. How you all getting on?

Fallen off the wagon a bit this week but back on plan today. Right we have 8 days of Jan left - we can do this!

I want to try and drop 3 lbs before then (if I drop 2 will be delighted but aiming high!)

Still plodding on here. Sneaky weigh in this morning was good, 10lb10 which made me very happy. A stone and a bit to go now. Fully expect that to go up again by monday's weigh in as my period will be due then, but it was nice to see it!!

thingymabob STOP!!! What's going on?? Do you still want to be whittling on about your weight for another year? You'll get to Easter and think "if I'd stuck to it I'd be so much thinner". Please have a good day tomorrow. You were doing so well. Come on, I've been here so many times and then just thought sod it i need chocolate. If I'd just bloody got on with it and stopped putting food in my mouth I could have been fitting all my clothes for years. We can do this. I know it sounds daft but I've promised myself a new pair of pyjamas when I lose a stone (I really like pyjamas!!). Think of something you can have when you lose a certain amount. Come on. We need you!!

You are right. Had an asthma attack this morning. First one in years. Don't even have an inhaler. Luckily I work in a hospital! Terrible wheeze after running quite a distance through hospital. Was feeling very tired and drained after I recovered and ate 3 hobknobs and a freddo.

Yeah. Freddos are only one mouthful. Having chicken with SW chips and salad so back on it. Went to GP and got inhaler and steroids! Puffed up like a balloon last time I was on them. Going to preserver with SW.

I'm going to have a break from cous cous next week. Thinking of just having something simple like salmon and salad or might throw in a few jackets.
Today has been OK apart from biscuits
Breakfast eggs on toast
Apple
Banana
Lentil dal for lunch
Hob knobs and freddo
Chicken, SW chips and salad

Got a catered course tomorrow at work but jacket potatoes and beans are a lunch option with watermelon and fruit so that's cool. Will be in work 7am - 8pm! There's sausage baps in morning but I think I'll take boiled eggs in

Going to log food diary daily from tomorrow to keep on track shame me into better options!
