is lasagne made with cottage cheese any good pls? Family meal but I am cooking so have some control.

OwlinaTree · 17/01/2017 18:21

Well done lemony, glad you have had a good loss. Well done all the losers!

I've got weigh in in around an hour! Funnily enough I feel like I have lost, but based on what I've eaten this weekend I'd be surprised if I have lost anything significant. Most likely going to be a gain!

Just want to go and get it over with tbh, onwards and upwards (or downwards I suppose) Wink

BulaBaby · 17/01/2017 18:52

Verdict on SW slow cooker spaghetti bolognese. "It's alright". We prefer it done on the stovetop. Exactly the same ingredients and it take a fraction of the time to cook.

Groovee · 17/01/2017 19:47

😱😱 went to class hoping for a pound off! 3lb's off. 6lb in 2 weeks.

Won the raffle too. Will return the mugshot minestrone as it was mingling. That will be my contribution next week to SoW basket.

FaithAgain · 17/01/2017 20:00

Bula I've never had success with slow cooker bolognese. Always too moist. (Yuck). I'd rather fry it with spray oil (I also hate fry light and use spray olive oil).

Great stuff Grovee! You are on it!

I'm having a good day. Done loads of exercise and been on it with my food. Cooked marinated chilli pork chops with chips and salad for tea. It was delicious!

BasinHaircut · 17/01/2017 20:01

Nice one Groovee! We are getting done good losses this week!

BulaBaby · 17/01/2017 20:06

WEll done Groovee

TheImprobableGirl · 17/01/2017 20:09

That'll probably be me both with the egg white omelette and fried egg white lavender Grin

It's because I physically cannot STAND egg yolk! I even pick out the yolk out of a scotch egg- I think it's the creaminess that gets me? Anyhoo- just me and my very odd tastes!

summerblonde · 17/01/2017 20:09

Good work Groovee!! You must be pleased x

TheImprobableGirl · 17/01/2017 20:16

Great job groovee ! No idea with the cottage cheese lasagne sorry, I think twochubbycubs had a good recipe for a slow cooker lasagne that looked v nice though?

Frouby · 17/01/2017 20:24

Well done Grove

TheImprobable we should do lunch. I can't eat egg whites lol. Love yolks but peel off the whites.

I rarely do food photos but I did the roast veg pasta again for tea. Will post a picture below if I can.

Frouby · 17/01/2017 20:28

Should have had a salad with it but there was more veg in there than it looks in the photo. Plus I was scoffing it all no matter what else I put on the plate. The green leafy bits is spinich I cooked with the pasta.

I lost 2lb this week so that's 6lbs altogether. Fingers crossed for a loss and a shiny half stone sticker next week.

ALemonyPea · 17/01/2017 20:38

Well done losers.

I use quark to top lasagne. Warm it slightly so it's more fluid like and easier to spread, then add cheese. Calzone uses blended cauliflower on hers.

Coincidentally I had lasagne for tea tonight, I used butternut lasagne things fro. Sainsbury's. They were nice, didn't feel cheated out of pasta.

The 2 chubby Cubs lasagne is nice, we've had that one. Although I don't really see the point in doing it in the slow cooker as you have to cook the mince first anyway.

Dinner tonight was Keema mince with peas, Bombay carrots and roasted tinned potatoes. Forgot we had a guest tonight so had to share between 3 instead of 2, so it was a bit small. Was yum though

improbable thanks for explaining. I thought it was some sort of 'thing' but that's understandable if you just don't like itGrinGrin

BasinHaircut · 17/01/2017 21:43

Hang on, there is a SW chip shop curry sauce???

GracieMeelsx · 17/01/2017 21:46

YES .. so so good Grin

Groovee · 17/01/2017 21:52

Basin yes, I found it too sweet.

buzibuzi · 17/01/2017 22:06

gracie that looks yummy!
ending on 11 syns
b: 2 poacged eggs on avocado toast with lots of tomatoes (5 syns)
l: leftover turkey and roast Mediterranean veg lasagne (hexa)
s: fibre one (4 syns) activia fat free
dinner: pasta with pesto (2 syns) and broccoli
fruit salad for pudding
went to lidl today (£114) but they didnt have everything I needed (mostly syn free flavoured yogurts , organic eggs and low fat turkey mince)so spent another £40 in tescos, whole hassle seemed pointless as we usually spend £150 at asda online,I think we got more food than usual tho my DH isnt very good at sticking to shoppping list

BasinHaircut · 17/01/2017 22:10

Will have to try that curry sauce!

alibongo5 · 17/01/2017 22:22

Bugger! Only half a sodding pound off. Will have to try harder this week. Started ok-ish, we had a meeting down the local pub about its future and instead of drinking beer I had two vodka and diet cokes - my only syns today so only, what is it, eight syns?

BulaBaby · 17/01/2017 22:23

Just realised that I had only used 1 of my 15 syns. Had not used all my milk either (I measure out my hea). Just made myself a hot choc for 3.5 syns and had 5 quality street choc for 10 syns
