Thank you everyone. I am a woman on a mission, and although I have a little treat on weigh day, 9/10 times I syns the bloody thing. I'm terrified of going to WI and gaining, so I keep on track.

Lavender,it's perfectly normal to wee loads. 6 months in and I still pee lots.

Your tea sounds lovely Frouby. Good luck in your pre WI poo 😁

OwlinaTree · 11/10/2016 21:59

Hi guys, well done lemony!

I'm very pleased with another 2.5lbs off this week! Only half a pound off half a stone! I can definitely say this is working for me at the mo. If I carry on at this rate I'll lose a stone by November. I doubt I will, but it's a nice thought.

Doilooklikeatourist · 12/10/2016 07:39

Had my first weigh in last night and lost 2.5 lb !
I'm delighted
Well done everyone on the losses , I'm inspired by you 💐

PositiveAttitude · 12/10/2016 08:14

Lots of good losses from all you lovely ladies this week. I also lost 2lb at WI last night and go my 2.5 stone award. I also hit my first target, so I am chuffed.
I am still waiting for ANYONE other than my DH and DC to actually notice that I have lost weight, but I am encouraged that I was able to buy something from Primark when shopping last week. I was reluctant to try it on because I didn't want to be disappointed, but it fits!!! So bloody pleased!

LavenderRains · 12/10/2016 08:18

That's great doilook Star you must feel good. This thread is inspirational you are right.
I've got my first weigh in today but can't stay to the meeting as I will have to go straight to work.

LavenderRains · 12/10/2016 08:25

positiveattitude well done on 2.5 stone award, can I ask how long you've been going?
I didn't actually notice my neighbour had lost weight until she was 3 stone downBlush I think she still wore the same clothes and one day I mentioned that she looked nice, and she told me. Now its very noticeable as she is a totally different shape! I'm sure people will start to notice your weight loss soon!

ohforfoxsake · 12/10/2016 09:09

Morning, all! Mind if I join you? Been SWing since April. Did quite well at the beginning, but school summer holidays stuffed me up. Back on it with a vengence, although my weight appears to be stuck and not budging.

p.s. (I've been off Mumsnet for a while, but spurred by SW support to come back. Since I've gone it seems the site has gone 'ad mad' - does anyone know how to get rid of them? )

FirstTimeMummy25 · 12/10/2016 11:06

Weighed myself this morning and a 2.5lb lose so I'm happy with that... Well done to the 'losers' and for those of you I'm very jealous of enjoying some indulgence... ENJOY! And have some for meSmile
Thanks for (I can't remember who mentioned it) the tip on the choc bars in Aldi and their syn value! I stocked up on those and have a cheeky crunchie some nights if I need it!!
Here's to a good week!!

LavenderRains · 12/10/2016 11:22

Well I'm in shock, had my first weigh in this morning, I lost 7.5lb!!!
I think that just shows how much crap I was eating before. I know it will slow down but I'm chuffed this morning.

FirstTimeMummy25 · 12/10/2016 11:22

Wow Lavender!!! That's amazing!
Well done you! You must be so proud of yourself! Gives me the motivation I need!!

PositiveAttitude · 12/10/2016 11:26

Lavender I started SW on 14th June this year, so 4 months for the 2.5 stone loss.
I was huge still am really!! My very helpful DD was rationalising the fact that nobody had noticed when we were discussing it last night by telling me that people don't really notice once you are over the "fat" threshold, so once I have gone from being "very fat" to "large" then people will notice. Hmm Aren't "children" lovely!!! (she's 25!) I think she was trying to be encouraging....in a cackhanded way!

LavenderRains · 12/10/2016 11:36

Hah positive sounds like something my DS would say!
Mind you, I just txt DH and told him of my 7.5lb loss as I won't see him tonight as I'm just off to work. He replied 'are you sure?" Before quickly adding 'fantastic well done'
I've got a long, long way to go but this first loss has given me the boost i need.

ALemonyPea · 12/10/2016 12:22

Well done losers! Excellent achievement Positive. Welcome Fox.

What diet food other than soup is good for cold weather? Don't fancy salads, I'm freezing and wearing socks, actual socks in the house. I'm a barefoot as soon as I get home sort of person.

Went to GP this morning and woohoo, all go for my hysterectomy.

B: leftover sausages from last night, mushrooms
D: m&s chicken noodle salad (4.5 syns), baked oats blueberry muffins (1 syns for blueberries)
T: spaghetti bolognese with HEA cheese

froubylou · 12/10/2016 12:31

wow well done losers! Some fantastic losses there! The only way I could lose 7.5lbs in one week is to lose a limb lol.

Bit disappointed with Wi this morning. 1/2 lb off. And had a maintain last week.

I don't think I am eating enough speed or enough meals. I have got into the habit of skipping lunch and I rarely have breakfast so am not eating until 7/8pm. Having 1/3 speed and free food and staying within syns but I seem to have stalled the last couple of weeks.

I also think I am retaining a bit of fluid. And because I have been forgetting my b choice some days I am a bit constipated too.

So am going to make a real effort to get back on it properly this week, eat a fuck ton of speed and make sure I have my b choice.

todays plan

B. Coffee
L. Soup I think
T. Spag bol with extra veg on the side.

lemony what about a quiche or frittata type thing. Or I sometimes do a big veggie chilli and freeze it for lunches. Or a sw breakfast maybe?

EmilyK83 · 12/10/2016 12:33

Well done losers - brilliant results!

Just had a text from my consultant to say I've been nominated for Miss Slinky, so happy!

PositiveAttitude · 12/10/2016 15:20

Mummyme87 · 12/10/2016 15:29

Have made some quick and easy tasters for our Christmas taster session tonight.
Preparing for my inevitable gain this evening

Buttwing · 12/10/2016 16:59

Well done all the losers!!
Lavender that's a fabulous first week!
Welcome foxes that's my boys favourite book I could recite it backwardsGrin

Weigh in for me today half off which I suppose is fair after the Lebanese, first day of period and I need to poo!

B-nothing before weigh in
L- seabass, new potatoes, salad and broccoli
D- spag Bol

I went out for lunch with friends after weigh in.

Buttwing · 12/10/2016 17:02

And we'll done em that's fab!! Do you get to keep the sash if you winWinkGrin

Buttwing · 12/10/2016 17:05

Lemony look at the thread "care to share your sw freezer meals" there are some ideas on there, I've put a recipe on there for chicken, chickpea and chorizo casserole it's so so good, think I may have mentioned it on here before.

LavenderRains · 12/10/2016 17:57

lemony good news about the surgery, and we'll done emily that's some achievement. I think you should definitely keep the sash!
frouby I was surprised. I'm sure I won't lose that much again all at once!

There was a lady at the weigh in this morning that had put 1lb on and she was so aggressive saying the scales were wrong and no way has she gained a lb as she had been sticking to the plan. She said she was going to write to head office! The poor woman weighing her said well the scales were right when you lost weight.....It was all a bit embarrassing.

ALemonyPea · 12/10/2016 18:19

Well done Emily! You deserve it.

Goodness lavender, that lady sounds a nightmare.

Will take a look at that thread, thanks Butt.

Would do omelettes and similar, but think ill get bored and bloated with eggs. With salads you can at least change what's in it.

noodlezoodle · 12/10/2016 18:26

Lemony it's been chilly here and I haven't wanted salad so I've been having jacket potatoes (or jacket sweet potatoes) with various different toppings and some salad on the side for speed - but you could easily do some roast veg on the side for speed as well.

I've been putting cottage cheese with pineapple on as a topping which sounds disgusting but is actually delicious.

ALemonyPea · 12/10/2016 18:36

Id love a jacket potato, but only have carbs with my tea, otherwise I don't tend to,lose weight.
