I buy my uggs from schuh imperfections as well it's fab isn't it frouby?! I get the kids from there too, when they arrive they have always been almost perfect it used to be called branch309 I wanted to cry when it shut down, so relieved when I found it again!
Lemony I don't wear socks with mine unless it's absolutely freezing then I wear cashmere socks. I got a couple of pairs in the Brora sale last winter and they are the nicest thing when I win the lottery I shall wear them every day!
Talking of feet I'm going to footner my feet tonight I'm quite excited I will probably lose at least half a pound when all the skin comes offGrin

ALemonyPea · 10/10/2016 17:21

I can't get them on my feet 😭😭😭

Stupid Hugh instep, can't get them past the seam bit. Gave to send them back.

froubylou · 10/10/2016 17:58

Oh I bet you are gutted Lemony.

Butt I used branch 309 too. I was gutted when it went then found the imperfections bit after a thread on here a couple of months ago. Just ordered dd a pair of Uggs today lol.

She is only 12 and I always said sh couldn't have any because of the cost. But she is desperate for new winter boots and the pair she had last year (about £40) have fallen to bits. And they stink. So have just treated her to a pair of Uggs as they were only about £15 more expensive than some we would habe bought.

plus she has gone for a pair in the same size as me so if she doesn't like them I will steal lol.

Never had a problem with anything I have bought from there.

dannyglick · 10/10/2016 19:11

Was told in group this morning about the new SW recommendation to syn granulated sweetener if using more than just a sprinkle ( half a syn per tablespoon).
Not sure if I might not take any notice of this, especially in SW cake and dessert recipes.
Apparently, it's in line with current healthy eating guidelines.

ALemonyPea · 10/10/2016 20:56

I am gutted. I hate my feet, skinny and high insteps, makes it impossible to buy nice boots.

Im asking my leader about the sweetener tomorrow, if she doesn't mention it first.

Bibs2014 · 10/10/2016 22:07

A bit too much chocolate this evening Confused

Mummyme87 · 11/10/2016 06:54

Sooo off the wagon. Italian and pudding on Friday, toast, frangipane, chocolate, popcorn, cocktail and more chocolate. We had the in laws for the weekend followed by cinema last night. Back on it today trying to pull it back for Wednesday night 😖

Noooooo!!! I use granulated sweetener in my tea because it tastes so much better than the little tablets. I am NOT syning my sweetener!

WingDefence · 11/10/2016 09:55

Hello all - I can't believe I don't actually seem to have posted on this thread at all [shocked]

I did well then have gone a bit off-plan the past two weeks (because I was doing well - can we all say self-sabotage?!).

Anyway, rushing in to say have you seen the changes to the healthy extras, HexB I think? 40g porridge oats now which is awesome but no more coco shreddies...

Sorry that I'm probably not going to be able to catch up so apols if I've missed lots of exciting stuff :(

BalthazarImpresario · 11/10/2016 11:05

Morning all. I managed to lose half a pound in my post birthday excess wi. No idea how, have upset stomach so an trying dry biscuits so an not synning today, just need to keep something in
Do we know when the sweetener thing starts? I don't use much but it'd be good to know, in thinking new year when they have their influx of new members.

PositiveAttitude · 11/10/2016 12:07

Hi everyone. Quick question - I have been handed a box of "Jane Plan" diet meals. I can't find any Syn values anywhere for these. Does anyone have any idea how to find out the Syn values? If they are high I might well just pass them onto someone else!!

WI tonight, but I did a sneaky peak on the scales this morning and I saw a new number at the beginning!! YAY!!! I know I wont see it at weigh in tonight as I will have clothes on (!!!!!) and it wont be first thing in the morning, but that will be my aim for next week to see in the evening official WI.

OwlinaTree · 11/10/2016 12:15

Hi all, I'm weighing in tonight. 12st2 last week, would so love to be 11 something tonight! Lost 2.5 last week so I'm guessing it's possible but not likely. Fx though.

Red how much sweetner do you use in a cuppa? 3 teaspoons would be half a syn according to Danny. So unless you put stacks in it's not much.

Buttwing · 11/10/2016 14:04

Well done to all the losers!
Positive it's fab to see a new number feels like real progress!
Lemony how bloomin annoying grrrr.

I've been in hospital this morning for a gastroscopy, for some daft reason I decided to do it without sedation. Not a good idea was not a pleasant experience on the plus side it meant I could come straight home but feeling a bit traumatised!!
Dp has taken the day of to look after the kids while I had it done and is taking us all out for Lebanese food (my absolute favourite) as I think he's feeling a bit sorry for me, very thoughtful but probably not the best thing to do the night before weigh in and I already know I will probably have a few naughties as I'm feeling sorry for myself. Oh and I just came on my period.

Pity party over now.

LavenderRains · 11/10/2016 14:33

buttwing Flowers That sounds a bit uncomfortable, pity party is definitely allowed!!
Enjoy your Lebanese food, (don't think I've ever had any) I think it's allowed today.

froubylou · 11/10/2016 15:20

Butt hugs. Dp has had that procedure and he said it was awful too. Have what you want to eat tonight!

Today's plan

B. Coffee
L. Nothing as was busy
t. roast aromatic duck with pancakes and the rest, chicken fried rice, noodles and stir fry veg. Am really looking forward to it all. Went off chinese food a few months ago when a takeaway made.me poorly so having a crack at making my own.

Wi tomorrow morning and am desperate for a loss so won't be pigging out but can't wait!

ALemonyPea · 11/10/2016 16:51

Flowers Butt. Hope you're feeling better after your food. I love Lebanese as well, our local one is divine, and delivers on little plates. So expensive though.

Unsure on the Jane Plannfoods Positive, sorry.

3lb off for me, and 5 stone award. Less than 3 stone now for me to get to target.

We discussed the sweetener thing this morning at group. I'm not syning mine as rarely use it, and even then it's to sweeten my oats, so not even a tablespoon. Don't drink hot drinks apart from when I'm ill.

Loving the 40g oats now though.

Buttwing · 11/10/2016 18:33

Thanks lavender it's probably best you haven't had it, it's soo good!! For the same reason I've never tried Krispy Kreme donuts, I know I would never stopGrin
Thanks frouby he's right it bloomin horrible! I definitely should have had sedation, oh well you live and learn!
Lemony that's amazing well done! 5 stone is an unbelievable weight loss FlowersStarFlowersStar

Well we went, food was good my throat is really sore so didn't eat that much but what I did eat wasn't that great. Oh well hopefully I should see a small loss tomorrow. My children turned into feral animals as soon as we set foot in there so it wasn't exactly relaxingConfused

LavenderRains · 11/10/2016 19:08

lemony that's amazing, well done! Star I need to lose 5 stone. When did you start? I'm guessing you must feel so much better health wise?
buttwing I could murder a Krispy Kreme right now, but will stick to my Turkish Delight Muller Light yog!

ALemonyPea · 11/10/2016 19:13

I started in April, been going for 6 months. Hopping to lose another stone by Christmas, if not more.

I still feel massively fat, but I guess it's just me getting used to my new body. Don't intend on getting that big ever ever again. It was disgusting.

LavenderRains · 11/10/2016 19:37

Wow only 6 months, that's impressive!!
I got to the stage where I felt so unfit and just ate junk all the time, can't remember the last time I ate an apple before SW
At work I survived Mostly on chocolate so this week has been an eye opener.
I just hope I have lost weight tomorrow as that will give me the drive to go on.

ALemonyPea · 11/10/2016 20:12

Everyone has their breaking point weightloss wise. Mine was getting near collapse walking up a steep bank. On the up I passed a very large man sitting on a bench, very red I. The face and out of breathe. I realised I must look the same. That was in the Sunday and on the Tuesday I joined SW.

I also need a hysterectomy, and I have to get my BMI below 30, it's currently 30.5 and I'm going to the GP tomorrow to get referred back to the gynaecologist for my operation. I cannot wait to have it done.

Buttwing · 11/10/2016 20:35

Wow lemony in 6 months is truly amazing!

LavenderRains · 11/10/2016 20:38

That's really good lemony must feel great to have lost that much knowing you will hopefully be able to have the Surgery, That's inspirational.

I know what you mean about walking up hill, at work they all walk up 4 flights of stairs, I try to sneak in the lift but if I do walk up the stairs I can hardly breathe at the top!!

froubylou · 11/10/2016 20:40

wowsers lemony that is fucking fantastic. I have done just uder 2 St in 5 months and thought that was going some but you are the sw dogs bollocks.

Tea was lush. duck and pancakes, chicken fried rice and stir fry veg and noodles with left over duck.

I didn't actually eat that much but am stuffed full. Just hoping I have a good poo before Wi tomorrow lol.

LavenderRains · 11/10/2016 21:30

Can I just ask, is it normal for me to be weeing so much since starting SW? I'm always on the loo. My friend says it's all the fat coming outGrin
