SO excited this morning - heading out now for a personal shopper appointment at Debenhams to try and find some new holiday clothes! Last time I saw the personal shopper guy was just before Christmas last year and I was in size 18s...I think I'm actually going to enjoy clothes shopping today instead of just looking for stuff that doesn't make me look even bigger!!

Today's food plans:

B - Erm...a skinny latte from Caffe Nero (2.5)

L - ham salad

D - burrito bowls with rice, sweetcorn, lettuce, Mexican chicken slices, jalapeños, homemade salsa

May use my HexA cheese on the burrito bowl, may get another skinny latte this afternoon. Not sure yet. Pistachios and an Alpen Light for a split HexB.

According to my scales this morning, I need to shift another half a pound before Tuesday to get my 3.5 stone award. Going to be trying my hardest!!

Oooh Emily how exciting!! Personal shopping was part of my old job before I disappeared under a mountain of children!! Hope you get lots of lovely things, last time I got to target I went and bought loads of clothes as you said it was such fun buying stuff because it looked fab rather than trying to cover the bulgey bits!

B-fruit and an Aldi bar
L-chicken and bacon salad
D-steak, chips and asparagus

I've got a new car coming today, dd1 gots a friend coming over so that will be fun dropping her off trying to drive my new car for the first time with 5 noisy kids squawking in the back! Enough to drive anyone to chocolate!!!

Emily still going strong I see! Size 10! How amazing. Hope you have a lovely time shopping. How does the personal shopping thing work? Is it expensive? I HATE shopping but if someone was going to essentially do it for me (or even help) I could get on board with that!

Wow, 3.5 stone Emily! You must be a skinny minny now, good on you! I've a long way to go before I book a personal shopper and buy a whole new wardrobe but even the feeling that the nice clothes that I couldn't or wouldn't wear last summer are fitting me well this year is a good start. Smile

I had to have my porridge really early this morning as I had an appointment first thing and then when I got home I was starving. Had been planning an SP day but I had to have a banana as soon as I got in, then DD wanted crackers and cheese so I had to have a couple of those too! Normally I wait until 9.30 or 10 before having breakfast and just have fruit to tide me over so this is not a good start to my day!! Must resist any more syns as I want to have a couple of drinks this evening, it is a beautiful sunny day today.

B: Porridge (hexb), milk (hexa), apple
Snack: Banana, crackers, cheese (haven't calculated syns yet Sad)
L: Eggs, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes
D: Beef koftas, salad, homemade tzatziki, might as well have sweet potato wedges now as not an SP day any more; maybe some syns for olives and feta.
Beer or wine Wink

This is a very flexi syn day but have already had a short walk this morning and will have a longer one this evening. Happy Friday everyone!

Have a lovely time Emily. I'd be so thrilled to be back in a size 10.

I'm currently sitting in McDonald's, having a Diet Coke as I was good and ate before I left the house.

B: Melon and yoghurt
D: leftover tuna pasta bake
T: not sure yet, everyone else is having pizza so nothing too exciting.

Baisin it's usually free!! You just make an appointment. Loads of places do it debenehams, John Lewis, topshop. I know for certain john lewis is free, I wonder if maybe some places may charge a small amount that you redeem against you purchases. When I did it it was free but it was for a high end designer place so it was worth it to the company as clients would spend thousands. Oh how the other half live!!!!

It was SO much fun! Tried on some 10s and some stuff I was still in a 12, but I'm still happy with that! Here's a pic - September vs. 3st 5.5lb lighter today...

Basin - you can book free personal shopper appointments at Debenhams! Website is bookings.debenhams.com - just make an appointment in your local one and tell them what you're after (holiday clothes, special occasion, seasonal trends) and you go in and they basically give you a ton of stuff to try on - some of which you might not have considered before - and there's no obligation to buy anything!

I bought 2 dresses today. Was funny - the guy didn't recognise me at first!!

You look great, that dress is lovely.

Going to try the cauliflower pizza that's in this months magazine. I always worry about new things incase I don't like it and have to do something quick, so having some sweet potato fries at the ready as well.

You look absolutely fabulous Emily

I had some friends visit for lunch today - previously we would have met up at Krispy Kreme and had multiple donuts but I really wanted to stay on plan (which I have managed)

Breakfast: Bacon, eggs, beans, mushrooms, tomato
Lunch: Roast chicken, baby new potatoes, salad. Lemon drizzle cake.
Dinner: Chicken noodle stir-fry
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars

Really pleased with the chicken - roasted it for lunch, and have stripped the carcass to go in the stir-fry and didn't eat a single bit of the skin. This is the first time ever I have managed this. I bloody love chicken skin. However, it is now in the bin and not in my belly.

Thanks ladies!

Welcome back may - good break?

Lemony - we did a cauli pizza last night...was nice, just not like normal pizza!

Em - that's serious willpower!

Some great inspiration on here.

B: grapefruit and FF natural yogurt
L: spaghetti on toast, tomatoes and mushrooms; followed by a couple of small oranges
D: will be - salmon, mashed potatoes (no butter, etc), vegetables (sweetcorn, was, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and spinach); probably followed by FF yogurt and fruit

Snack: apple
HEa: milk
HEb: 2 x wholemeal bread

No syns yet - can I finally open one of the bottles of fizz in my fridge? Had a delivery early this week and we've been good and not tried any, but the bottles of Moet are calling me!

Go for it Hula. If you've any syns left from the past few days, you can use those towards your booze as well.

My faux pizza was ok, but it certainly wasn't pizza. Very filling with my sweet potato fries. Yum.

Sigh.

Be glad when half term is over. Causing havoc with my plans.

Had chicken, boiled potatoes and veg (peas and carrots) with gravy on for lunch. Was the most sw friendly thing I could find on the menu. Then dp wanted to go to an Indian restaurant for tea. I had a popadom and pickles tray then chicken saag and boiled rice. So not horrendous especially as we usually have a takeaway on a Friday anyway.

I feel very podge now though. Just having a g and t and have my B choices to get down yet.

4 days before Wi to turn it around. Lots of speed and a couple of sp days will hopefully help!

I have no syns today, and very few from last few days.
I am finding I don't actually need many syns at all on normal days.

I am currently sat enjoying a chilled glass - it is delicious and worth every syn!!

Also did my menu plan for week 2, and done the Ocado shop to match.

Sitting in the garden getting squiffy after a delicious dinner of beef kofta, tzatziki, greek salad and wedges. All free except a couple of bits of feta and a few olives. We won't mention the small crisp sandwich I had earlier. Blush Grin But hey, it's Friday, I've been busy all day and I'll make it up over the rest of the week. Halo

It was delish if I do say so myself. We've got a taster night at my group next week and might do a version of it for that.

Hi Nelly...loads of advice on here if you have any questions, just ask! General advice from me is plan your meals, write your shopping list, stick to it and if you mess up one day get back on plan the next. You can do it.

Maybe have a look on google for slimming world fakeaways if it's takeaways you're missing. Loads of good recipes out there and lots of blogs (my favourite is twochubbycubs.com/slimming-world-recipes/) or check the SW app/website. If you don't like cooking there are SW ready meals in Iceland. Never had them though so can't tell you if they're any good. If in doubt keep it simple - meat/fish, potatoes/pasta/rice and lots of veg/salad.

Nelly - search "fakeaway" online - there are loads of ways of making curries, Chinese dishes etc that are SW friendly, you don't need to go without! And it's worth scrolling back through this thread too - I've got loads of inspiration for meals from everyone in here! Smile
