Hope Calzone doesn't mind me starting the new thread- we've run out of room- eek!

Me new thing for this week has been cauliflower rice. Filling, doesn't taste too bad with strong flavours like chilli or curry but boy does it stink!

Today is a new day Obri.

Freezing today, and I've had to hide a tube of Pringles that were shouting my name.

B: 2 Ryvita, cottage cheese, Alpen bar, strawberries and melon hexb
D: Ham and egg salad
T: spaghetti bolognese with peppers and courgettes. Grated cheese for hexa

Buttwing · 25/04/2016 10:38

I'm back on it today. I peeked on the scales this morning and it could be worse so we will see what tonight's wi brings!

B- mango, raspberries and blueberries with total 0% yogurt.
L-sw spicy lentil soup
D-beef and bean chilli and rice

EmilyK83 · 25/04/2016 11:03

Well done Helen! Good luck for tonight, Butt!

I'm trying to get back into the habit of having breakfast again - starting slowly. Need to go shopping after being away for the weekend - cupboards are looking bare...

Today will look like this:

B - an apple. Well, it's something...

HexA skinny latte when I go food shopping

L - leftover bolognese sauce from last night with salad

D - Indian spiced dal and sweet potato pie, with spiced creamed (with fat free yoghurt) spinach on the side.

HexB will either be pistachios or Alpen Lights, haven't decided yet...

froubylou · 25/04/2016 14:18

Hello everyone. Just logging what I am eating today.

L. Salmon and pasta salad left over from yesterday. 3 syns for dressing.

T. Sw spaghetti bolognaise with loads of hidden veg.

HeA milk in coffee
Heb not planning anything in particular but have had oil in salad dressing so it could be that in theory I suppose.

Might have yogurt after tea and have some strawberries in fridge too. And possibly a g and t later.

Hit the mid afternoon slump and really fancying a biscuit but am going to resist.

Was up peeing all bloody night. Had a really bad week last week knowing I was starting this week so think all the crap I scoffed made me retain water.

I might not be fat after all, just waterlogged!

Buttwing · 25/04/2016 14:21

Thanks EmilySmile

I added a sandwich to my lunch as I was starving. It was so good I used three slices of crust less kingsmill (heb) and made a chicken and bacon club sandwich.

VodkaIceAndLemon · 25/04/2016 17:07

I have my WI tomorrow morning, not sure how it's going to go. I've been doing so well all week, then today I've had a mini binge. I'm hoping I haven't done too much damage.

ALemonyPea · 25/04/2016 17:40

Starting to get that two week diet lull and could quite easily binge tonight. I still have 12 syns left, so might have something, maybe some Pringles. I usually have crisps and dip on a Saturday night, think my body is missing it.

EmilyK83 · 25/04/2016 18:12

Good luck Vodka!

Lemony - 12 syns left is loads! Happy to copy and paste my low syn treat list if that helps? You could stuff yourself with that ;)

peachypips · 25/04/2016 18:36

I've had 6 syns worth of Pringles. Only because there wasn't enough for 12 Grin

That list would be great, thanks Emily.

MamOfTwo · 25/04/2016 19:30

Tell me more about the overnight oats and exploding muffins! Will I find the recipes for those on the SW website? They sounds right up my street! Have had a bit of a browse on SW site but still finding my way around it. My WI day is Saturday morning so gave myself Saturday off but back on it yesterday and today.

That's some list Emily! So happy to see lindor balls are not that high syn Grin

Stuck to plan today apart from a sneaky extra slice of bread and butter so am calling that 6 syns. Finishing the day with 10 1/2 syns.

Have been really good this week- stayed within syns every day except Sunday and did 3 SP days so am hoping for a good loss on Wednesday.

OP posts:
EmilyK83 · 25/04/2016 20:41

It's been built up since January, like to mix things up a bit or I get bored of having the same "treats"! Grin Am obsessed with Lindor too...

Having all 15 syns tonight, despite the fact it's weigh in tomorrow. Issues with a so-called "friend" who's made me feel like crap! So an Options white hot chocolate (2), one Daim Mikado (0.5), 2 King Choco mikado (2), a smarties Easter figure (5.5) and a Malteaster mini bunny (3), plus two Waitrose mini choc chip cookies (2). May not get through them all, but have given myself those and those only in the hope I don't binge-eat on other stuff, which I have a habit of doing when I'm feeling a bit down...

KittyOShea · 25/04/2016 20:43

Aw Emily I'm sorry to hear that. Enjoy your syns and I hope things get better soon Flowers

Thanks lovely. Early night for me so I don't dwell on it, I think!!

ALemonyPea · 25/04/2016 21:08

Great list Emily. Think I might buy some Lindor to keep as an emergency.

Hope your day is better tomorrow.

WI for me tomorrow. Hoping for 3lbs. I've been ever so good.

Buttwing · 25/04/2016 21:46

Emily that sounds crap, have a low syn Chocolate from me.

Well I've just got back from weigh in 2lbs heavier, grrrrr but I deserve it I'm going to sp til Friday (or as long as I can) I'm going to sit and meal plan properly tomorrow morning.

emwithme · 25/04/2016 22:51

My muffins don't explode (although they are bloody delicious). To make 12 BIG muffins:

6 eggs
Tub cottage cheese (the onion & chive one is nice)
Whatever "gribbly bits sorry, this is the generic family name for chopped bits and pieces and I can't think of it as anything else " you want to add (mushroom, onion, peppers, bacon etc) - pre-fried if you want (particularly if it's onion or bacon)

Beat eggs and add cottage cheese. Mix in gribbly bits. Pop into muffin tin (silicon is best for ease of removal) and into oven at gas 6/180C fan/200C for 20 - 30 minutes until cooked through and browned on top. Then pop into fridge until you're ready to eat them. They last about 2 - 3 days in the fridge.

Today's food:

Breakfast: Muffins (as above, with bacon, onion, mushroom gribbly bits)
Lunch: Beef salad with quark/mustard dressing, apple, pear, satsumas
Pre-college snack: Supermarket snack pack sushi (1 syn), pineapple, satsumas
Dinner: Cajun chicken (1 syn), rice, salad. Chocolate matzo (7.5 syns)
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars

EmilyK83 · 26/04/2016 07:37

Thanks Lemony and Butt. Butt - I reckon you're going to have an amazing week this week!

Hi Twinkle - good luck this week!

Feeling a little better this morning after a good night's sleep. Weigh in at 9.30, though, so will see how I feel after that, haha!!

Today's plan:

B - a cup of tea at w/i

L - leftover Indian dal and sweet potato pie from last night with broccoli

D - Erm...this is where it's all going to go wrong - but in such a good way!! I'm off to a press review thing at Celtic Manor...which involves cocktails and canapés in one of their restaurants, pre-starter and starter in another, and main and dessert in a third. Definitely planning on enjoying it!!

justamo · 26/04/2016 07:42

I've been a bit awol on a choc fest celebrating my 2lb off, kicking myself for it but other food has been OK. Back to it yesterday and my heads in the game I'm aiming to get a maintain on Thurs.
Plan for today:
B mushroom omelette
L SW pea soup, bread roll, fruit
D warm chicken, bacon & potato salad with honey & balsamic dressing, drooling at the thought.
Avoid the biscuit tin!

Emily, fab treat list. You've got great willpower, once I know that there is an open packet of Milkado in the house I have to find them and finish them. I'm finding mini packets of chocolate e.g buttons or fun size bars are handy treats I then don't have the urge to eat them all as I've had a whole one iykwim. Actually I lie I do have an urge to eat them all but I'm controlling it.

EmilyK83 · 26/04/2016 07:58

Just - that salad sounds so good!

I always save my chocolate syns till the evening - then put up to 15 syns of treats in a bowl and tell myself that's all I can have for the evening - normally stops me from heading back to the kitchen...
