Hope Calzone doesn't mind me starting the new thread- we've run out of room- eek!

Me new thing for this week has been cauliflower rice. Filling, doesn't taste too bad with strong flavours like chilli or curry but boy does it stink!

I tend to have my syns in the evening as well Emily, have my weigh in this evening but feel like I lost my way this week. Have been overthinking it really, need to simplify it for myself if that makes sense?

froubylou · 26/04/2016 10:47

Just logging in for today. Written down I can see any extra syns that might creep in.

B. Coffee
L. Tuna salad. 3 syns for dressing.
T. Mediterranean chicken with rice and veg. Probably a syn for oil and need to work out syns on half fat mozzarella.

Any remaining syns in gin. Need it after toddler from hell all day!

EmilyK83 · 26/04/2016 11:16

Good luck tonight obrigada, sure you'll be fine!

Just walking back from weigh in...2lb off and Slimmer of the Month for April!! So, so happy...especially as it means I now weigh exactly 12 stone, and I honestly can't remember the last time that happened! 2st 9lb in 16 weeks and counting...

Twinklestar2 · 26/04/2016 11:36

Well done Emily!

Does anyone know any low syn or free food from Pret, Itsu or Eat?

EmilyK83 · 26/04/2016 11:56

Thanks Twinkle!

Just looked at the app and found the following:

Pret salmon, avocado and quinoa protein pot (163g) 4 syns

Pret crayfish and avocado salad with no dressing and no bread 6.5 syns

If Itsu does their noodle cups, they're low syn too...

Buttwing · 26/04/2016 12:09

emwithme · 26/04/2016 20:13

Well done Emily Lemony Vodka and Long

I have just sat down (well, half an hour ago), having got in from work at 5.20. I have made breakfast muffins for the next 3 mornings, tuna pasta salad for the next 3 lunches, cottage pie for dinner tomorrow night and Friday night, and cooked some Iceland meatballs so I have no excuse for going off plan for the remainder of the week (Thursday night excepted, because I am planning to have fish, chips and curry sauce)

Today was an SP day:

Breakfast: Muffins
Lunch: Salad with peppered salt beef, apple, pear, satsumas
Dinner: Diet coke chicken, garlic mushrooms (using big fat field mushrooms)
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars

ALemonyPea · 26/04/2016 20:39

Hmm, I've not had my hexa or hexb today and I'm completely stuffed. How bad is it if I miss them?

profpoopsnagle · 26/04/2016 20:54

Can I join?

Joined about SW 8 weeks ago, and have lurked on this thread but need to join proper. Lost 6.5lbs so far, not loads but have had a birthday/holiday/STS fortnight. Figured it took 3 years to add the weight, so I'm winning in losing it ATM!

Break: 2x shredded wheat + yog
Lunch: chicken salad +yog + pear
Dinner: turkey burgers and SW wedges with broccoli and carrots.
Snacks: banana + apple + babybel light (part of HEXA)
Syns: foxes triple bar (4.5), 2 for shredded wheat, 0.5 mayo, 1 for oil

My aim this week is to check and keep an eye on my HEXA. I tend to drink far too much tea, so suspect I am going over the allowance. Doesn't help that work has semi-skimmed which I forget about as I have skimmed at home.

As well as eat/drink staying within syns of course! Looking forward to chatting to you all.

emwithme · 26/04/2016 21:02

As a one-off Lemony it's not too bad - better to skip them than eat for the sake of it - but if it's a regular thing, try and introduce them earlier in your day; possibly try laughing cow triangles/other cheese on toast or ryvita or something?

welcome prof

I used to never go over my HEA of milk (and sometimes would have so little I'd have to top it up with cheese Grin ) but since I've been back at work I'm drinking far more coffee so I'm definitely having my whole HEA allowance - possibly more but I try to stick to 10 syns a day otherwise so I have a bit of wriggle room.

calzone · 26/04/2016 21:02

Emily.....we can share crap friend stories if you like. See who trumps who!!

B.....fruit, yoghurt, 35 g raisin bran
L....mushy peas and fried eggs
D....chicken, mushrooms, Butternutsquetti, pesto (2)
Apple
Fruit and nut chocolate

ALemonyPea · 26/04/2016 21:14

I usually do have them, I'm a sucker for cheese, and have an Alpen bar in my bag if I need a snack. Just been so busy today, I've barely managed to eat two meals let alone have all the required elements.

It's these weigh days, totally take up my time, and who wants to eat a hearty breakfast before going to get weighed?

Sounbelievablydull · 26/04/2016 22:32

Evening- honestly I love looking at what you've all been up to. It does help me to remain positive.
Today I had
2 weetabix with red milk and a red grapefruit.( I'm mildly obsessed with them)
Dinner spicy tomatoe prawns with rice, made by dh so strong possibility of syns!!!
I have now lost 14lbs since beginning of feb so slow but went shopping at the weekend and am now fitting into size 18!,
Yes still large but feels so much better.
Determined not to buy any clothes until I've lost another stone
What does everyone else do about clothes?

MABS · 27/04/2016 07:01

weigh in this am, no hearty breakfast!

obrigada · 27/04/2016 07:12

Weighed in yesterday evening, lost 2 and a half poundSmile ... That's a total of 9lb over 4 weeks. Got my half stone certificate and am now under 12 stone so happy lady today Brew
