Hope Calzone doesn't mind me starting the new thread- we've run out of room- eek!

Me new thing for this week has been cauliflower rice. Filling, doesn't taste too bad with strong flavours like chilli or curry but boy does it stink!

Welcome Fraggle

Had a busy day today, as always. Don't seem to have the time to eat I. The mornings.

B: quiche and half HEA
D: roast chicken dinner with lots of speed, 4 syns for Yorkshire pud, 1syn mint sauce, 2 syns gravy
T: not sure, have some quiche or chilli left from yesterday

Twinklestar2 · 29/05/2016 14:41

I'm thinking of doing SP in the run up to my holiday this weekend, is there a limit to how many days in a row you can do?

EmilyK83 · 29/05/2016 14:44

Twinkle - they say maximum of 2 weeks, and if you want to do more, to add an extra healthy A choice...

Twinklestar2 · 29/05/2016 19:08

Thanks Emily. I may do it mon-fri this week in prep of holiday on Saturday.

mumtoblaire · 29/05/2016 22:41

Think i may do a couple of SP days a week as i do eat a lot of pasta and rice. I tend to suffer from terrible bloat and need to be more focused as i also have coeliac disease.

B - porridge made with water added chopped banana and 1 tsp syrup (1)
Lunch - baked beans with some wafer thin chicken and a chopped up mini babybel light. Strawberries and activia yoghurt.
Dinner - pasta with 1 tsp pesto(2).

Weigh in tomorrow. Eek!

Buttwing · 30/05/2016 07:25

Morning all, I only ever seem to manage two days of sp, it's not the carbs so much but the fruit all my favourite fruits aren't allowed!

It weigh in for me tonight I've had a mixed week and came on a vile period yesterday so stomach is like a beach ball more so than usual! So I will be glad of any loss I probably didn't help myself by having a Thai takeaway last night, I was good and only had chicken with chilli and basil and boiled rice. I hadn't really eaten anything except a two bananas as when been out shopping all day.

EmilyK83 · 30/05/2016 07:36

Good luck with weigh in, both!

Haha Butt, I think after doing my third day of SP yesterday that two might be my limit too. I was in such a bad mood yesterday evening - ended up going to bed early in a sulk! Going to be back to normal today, although I'll have my carbs at lunch in the hope that they...ahem...pass through me quicker, as it's weigh in tomorrow!

Today's plan:

B - fruit and yoghurt

L - off out for a picnic: I've made Scotch eggs with the Linda red onion and rosemary sausages as the outside and no breadcrumbs, cold Heck chicken paprika sausages (0.5 syns for 2), tuna and sweetcorn pasta salad (with ff yoghurt instead of mayo), normal salad, fruit, Hartley's 10 cal jelly pots (0.5 each) and Alpen Lights (HexB)

D - leftovers from last night and salad

Will get a skinny latte as my HexA, evening syns will be in the form of chocolate froyo...

Buttwing · 30/05/2016 07:40

Totally identify with that em or I end up falling off the wagon and eating loads of chocolateConfused

I once managed 10 days of sp in a row but only because I was about to go on holiday and the fear of swimwear spurred my on! I did lose 7lbs though so it was worth it!

Autumnchill · 30/05/2016 07:48

Morning all! Rejoined SW on Thursday but unfortunately heavy weekend has taken its toll (England match Friday, friends birthday in a Chinese restaurant last night) but woken up this morning positive and wanting to get back on it!

Hoping to get lots of ideas here and the kick up the arse I need occasionally Smile

Katenka · 30/05/2016 07:55

Hi everyone, I hope everyone is well.

I haven't been around for a while. The house is being renovated (had no kitchen) and we have been away.

I have fallen off the wagon completely and think I have put on about 10lb, at least.

I am so nervous to go back this morning. I am really upset with myself.

To be honest, I think I did it too strictly. I hardly had any Syns and got bored. So when I knew I wasn't getting weighed I just when mad.

Please someone tell me it's ok and I can get back on track!

EmilyK83 · 30/05/2016 09:01

Bloody hell Butt, 10 whole days?! That's dedication!! That 7lb would definitely be worth it though!

Hi Autumn! This thread's fab for ideas, have made some lovely things that others have recommended!

Welcome back Katenka - how's the kitchen looking now? You did it before - you can definitely get back on it!

curren · 30/05/2016 09:32

Hi Emily, the kitchen looks amazing. A couple of shelves to put up. Fil is a carpenter so is making them, could take a while Grin it looks that good I don't want to cook in it! Grin

Got weighed and put on 12lb. I am so mad at myself. Going back to basics and doing it 100% this week.

Kids are away and dh is still in bed, when he gets up I am going shopping and topping up on the good stuff!

curren · 30/05/2016 09:33

Whoops sorry, forget to name change to my SW thread name. Blush

froubylou · 30/05/2016 09:36

7lb us definitely worth it! Did it stay off Button? Probably not if you went on holiday but worth it still.

Yesterday went well until ndn came around for bbq. I had far too much gin but did stay on plan food wise. Feel very bleurgh this morning though.

Have no idea what I will be eating today. Think we are going out later for something to eat so will have to manage with whatever I can. And stay off the gin!

mumtoblaire · 30/05/2016 09:50

5 lbs off! Woop woop

Autumnchill · 30/05/2016 10:42

5lbs! Well done!

Well I've been for a brisk walk down the beach, making burgers for lunch (no bread!) and beef shin ragu for tea and we've planned a day of tidying so bit more exercise.

Was considering getting a Fitbit. Has anyone got one and if so are they worth the money?

nomoreheroes · 30/05/2016 11:00

Hello all, been offline for a few days...mainly eating and drinking! Blush Had a family party on Sat and what with travelling etc ended up eating a lot of bread (my weakness/nemesis!). Also a fair but of booze over the weekend...bank holiday plus good weather not a great combination for slimming (but I bet all of us who've fallen off plan have had a lovely time so it was worth it IMO). Anyway, onwards and upwards with an SP day:

B Porridge HexB with milk HexA and apple
Snack Quark and berries
L We are going for a picnic so I will have to take a salad and try to resist the crusty loaf DH has just bought Confused
D Cod in a tomato sauce, butter bean mash, tenderstem broccoli and asparagus

Absolutely no wine. Nope. No way. Grin

nomoreheroes · 30/05/2016 11:01

Just remembered I have a second HexB on an SP day so maybe I'll take a little sandwich on my picnic - result!

EmilyK83 · 30/05/2016 11:36

Ahh I'm so jealous Katenka! Sounds amazing!

Wow well done on that loss mumto!! You must be so happy!

Autumn - I have the fitbit charge hr, and I love it! Really motivates me to get moving!

Nomore - the thing I LOVE about SP days is the second HexB, sandwich definitely sounds like a plan!!

HelenF35 · 30/05/2016 12:53

I pretty much had the week off and put on 1.5lbs. Am calling it my halfway point celebration. Back on it today!

Breakfast 2 Alpen bars hexb
Lunch jambalaya 2.5 Syns and square crisps 6 Syns
Dinner leftover B&Q food free
Milk for coffee hexa

ALemonyPea · 30/05/2016 12:58

Well done on the loses, very inspiring.

Decided I'm having an SP day today. I need to get to my 2 stone self target by 20 June, 10.5 lb to go.

B:nothing as had a rare lie in
D: bean on toast with cheese (first HEB and HEA), mushrooms, orange and pear
T: homemade burger served in big mushroom, salad, pickled onions, beetroot

S: 2 hifi bars and possibly cheese on my burger

WI day for me tomorrow, so hoping it shows.

Buttwing · 30/05/2016 14:03

Emily it was only fear of getting me thighs out on holiday that kept me motivated!

Frouby no unfortunately it was followed by a 9lb gainBlush bloody great holiday though!

Mum well done that's an amazing loss!!

It's gorgeous here lovely barbecue weather but fil gave us a leg of lamb and told us "it's already been frozen so cook it asap" I tried suggesting having it with new potatoes and salad which was met with looks of horror. So Sunday lunch it is.Hmm

Autumnchill · 30/05/2016 14:15

Yikes! Just going to head to watch the cricket and thought I'll check the syns on Rekordlig Strawberry and Lime Cider......15 syns!!! Glad I checked as I'm now just going to have a white wine spritzer instead.

Twinklestar2 · 30/05/2016 14:19
