I think I agree Oriana - it's like the Alpen Lights/Hifi Lights thing - you can have two as HexB, but you can also have 1 as HexB and it counts as speed...

FannyFanakapan · 17/04/2016 20:50

Ive not got to grips with the whole SP thing. I wondered if doing a 5:2 type day would be the same as an SP day?

B: toast (B), eggs.
l: Tin of pilchards, packet of BBQ chicken pieces, 1 tbs mayonnaise (2), apple
d: roast lamb, mint sauce, 2x roast potatoes (not sw version, as DH cooking...) (4), carrots, beans, butternut, gravy (2). SUnday SUndae: fruit, muller, squirty cream on top (2)

Hex A in tea.

so 10 syns.

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 17/04/2016 20:53

Ah fuck. Went out tonight determined to make good choices. Then had bread and butter. Was sooooo nice though...

ALemonyPea · 17/04/2016 22:32

Grin Bastards. Bread and butter

emwithme · 17/04/2016 22:53

I was so tempted to have a slice of squishy white bread and butter while making DH's sandwiches for tomorrow. It smelled soooo good but I managed to resist.

I think I might treat myself to a small tiger loaf on WI day this week because obviously food eaten in the four hours after WI doesn't count

EmilyK83 · 18/04/2016 08:36

Morning all! It's so cold here in Bristol today!!!

Weighing in tomorrow morning, and I'm confident I'm going to get at least 0.5lb off, which'll take me exactly halfway to my target...

Food today will look like this:

B - muesli (HexB) with fat free natural yoghurt and grated apple

L - Think I might make some soup - will see what veg I fancy when I go shopping this morning!

D - Linda McCartney free sausages with mash, beans and salad

HexA will be a skinny latte in town later, HexB will be bread with my soup. Off out to a pub quiz tonight, but will stick to Diet Coke... Syns in the form of chocolate!

BasinHaircut · 18/04/2016 09:22

Morning all!!!

I'm back properly as of today. DH and I did really well in Jan/Feb, but as of early March we had gone off the rails, so it's been over a month since I've had more than a day at once on plan.

We started at 12st1lb (me) and 16st1lb (DH) and we are now 11st1lb4oz (me) and 15st3lb8oz (DH) so all is not lost, we are still lighter than we were at new year, when I was disgusted at myself for nicely being able to fit into any of the dresses I own and DH was bursting out of his cardigan!

So I've done a meal plan for the week and shopped accordingly. I have found my enthusiasm for it again, I think the sunshine is doing me the world of good!

Meals for today:
B - porridge with skimmed milk (HEXB and half HEXA)
L - chicken and pickle roll (7syns for roll and pickle), walkers crinkle crisps (6syns)
D - cauliflower, bacon and cheese sauce (half HEXA) macaroni with spinach

BasinHaircut · 18/04/2016 09:23

*not, not nicely!

BasinHaircut · 18/04/2016 09:26

Oh and I have speed fruit and chopped veg for snacks to up my speed intake, I know there isn't any in lunch or dinner so will eat the fruit/veg to balance out.

HelenF35 · 18/04/2016 11:33

1/2lb loss. So disappointed. SadI hope that the running has lead to some muscle gain because I feel like I've lost more than that. Never mind, onwards and upwards.

Today's plan.

Breakfast
Turkey bacon, eggs and mushrooms with brown sauce 0.5 Syns

Lunch
Tuna and sweet corn sandwich on wholemeal bread (he) free

Dinner
Chicken in sauce made with garlic and herb low fat soft cheese, sweetcorn, carrots, green beans and rice.4 syns

longlivetheking · 18/04/2016 12:23

Helen it might show next week. Sometimes the body does funny things. I gained half when I was convinced I would lose, the following week when I hadn't been great, I lost 2.5. It's hard to take at the time though Thanks

I haven't had a great week as have eaten a lot of chocolate, came on this morning so not expecting much other than a gain tomorrow. Especially as I now weigh in the evenings due to work Confused

KittyOShea · 18/04/2016 18:57

Well had a terrible weekend syn wise- gin, bread, crisps, cooked breakfast, chocolate...

I have done 2 SP days in this SW week (my weigh in is weds) and am planning 2 more tomorrow and Wednesday before the horrible truth appears!!

Today's menu (non SP)

B- porridge, raspberries, yoghurt, cinnamon, grapefruit
L- chicken salad, yoghurt, fruit, hi fi
D- chicken curry with lots of veg and rice

Syns- 2 sugar, 1 salad dressing, 1 flour (in curry) 6 hi fi

ALemonyPea · 18/04/2016 19:15

Don't be disheartened Helen, you might have lost more next week.

I'm still tired, but keeping high hopes that I've had a good first weeks loss tomorrow morning. Quite glad I have a morning WI as think I'd starve myself for a night WI and then binge via the 8 takeaways that are on the way to the car park Grin

B: Breakfast muffins, cherry yoghurt
D: 4 dark rye Ryvita with light philli (hexa hexb), turkey ham and cucumber and carrot sticks
T: SW chicken tikka masala (too spicy for me) with rice and 10syns on a naan bread which was worth it.

So out of 105 weekly syns, I've had 55, should I eat 50 syns worth of chocolate? Certainly feel I could given my awful AF and lack of sleep for two days.

justamo · 18/04/2016 19:59

Quite a good day today apart from an incident with some mini flapjack bites in the staff room. However I've not had my hex b today, do you think I could class 2 bites (3.5 syns each) as my hex b ? . If so, I'll be under my syn allowance for the first time in ages.

FannyFanakapan · 18/04/2016 20:34

b: Ham omelette, cherry tomatoes, grapes.
l: tin of sardines. Macaroni with cauliflower sauce and bacon. Babybel light. (2) toffee yoghurt (1)
d: Chicken goujons made with hexB breadcrumbs but cooked in small amount of oil (counting 6), rice, sw katsu curry, cucumber, pink slaw, yoghurt.

sn: Apple.

BasinHaircut · 18/04/2016 20:51

Used my final 2 syns in a mini twister so finished today on 15 syns. Successful first day back on plan!

trinitybleu · 18/04/2016 21:06

3.5lbs off and Slimmer of the Week :-)

EmilyK83 · 18/04/2016 21:14

Ooooooh well done trinity!! You've started so well! Grin

EmilyK83 · 18/04/2016 21:15

And well done Basin! It's good to have you back!

This was dinner tonight. 2 Linda McCartney sausages, mash and a hell of a lot of cabbage. Added 0.5 syns of mustard after I took the pic!

Well done trinity Star

calzone · 18/04/2016 21:31

Well done Trin!!

Oh dear to me.

I keep triggering myself into a pit of crap.......chocolate, biscuits, crisps.

Not sure how to turn it off.

ALemonyPea · 18/04/2016 21:36

Well done a Trinity Flowers

Calzone, you've just reached your target, you need to maintain. Back away from the biscuits! And remember, 21 meals, ruining one doesn't mean the other 20 will be bad. Back on it tomorrow.

emwithme · 18/04/2016 21:36

Well done trinity

I deliberately chose a morning group, Lemony for precisely that reason. When I did SW mumblety years ago I went on a Monday night and I started not having anything past about 11 o'clock, then stopped at the chippy on the way home! I now take either overnight oats or breakfast muffins (or similar) to eat after I've weighed but before group.

Today's food:

Breakfast: Breakfast muffins
Lunch: Beef (leftover from roast) salad, apple, pear, satsumas
Snack before college: Apple (I resisted the most delicious-looking rocky road ever!)
Dinner: Cajun chicken breast (1 syn), rice, salad leaves, cherry tomatoes
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars

Buttwing · 18/04/2016 21:49

Well done trinity that's a fab loss!

I've just weighed and I've lost 1.5lbs. I'm happy with that because I weighed myself on Friday morn and I'd put 2lbs on so that's gone plus 1.5lb.

Announcement- I've no longer given up sugarBlush

Too feckin hard!

longlivetheking · 18/04/2016 21:56

Well done Trinity - fantastic!

Calzone I'm feeling your naughtiness. Blaming the period from hell but know I'll still regret all the Chocolate when I weigh in tomorrow Sad
