Hi all. It's my one year anniversary of SW today! I have lost almost 2 stone. Very slow and steady but it's staying off.

Started with my friend who has lost 4 stone in the same time! She was about 2 stone heavier than me. Is it mean that I'm a bit jealous? Blush

maygirl · 15/04/2016 21:02

Milk in coffees 2 syns
Alpen light 3 syns (unplanned, saw it in car boot during school run )

Calzone you look fab, I bet you feel amazing.

I had some breakfast muffins I made last night for breakfast. Very nice, and very filling.

B: 3 breakfast muffins and a cherry 0% fat activia
D: 4 dark rye Ryvita, 2 tubs philli, strawberries and grapes
T: pork kebabs with onions, courgettes and mushrooms, veg chips, corn on cob with butter (2 syns)

EmilyK83 · 16/04/2016 10:20

Well done losers!

I had a day of massive temptation yesterday. I've done some work for a bakery recently, and they decided to hand deliver a big box of pasties, crisps, muffins and pastries to say thank you. Nice thought...but oh my god the smell!! I've not touched pastry in months and it was way too tempting!

My cough's on the mend, finally, so hopefully getting back to eating properly. Today will look like this:

B - muesli (hexb) with fat free yoghurt and chopped apple

L - leftover rice and salad from last night, with some ham mixed in

D - leftover chilli, rice and salad

HexA will be milky coffees, syns no doubt chocolate...

AgentDunham · 16/04/2016 10:43

Well done all!

Second weigh in for me today. 1.5lbs off. So 5lbs in two weeks. Weirdly didn't think I'd have lost much/at all this week as feel I'm eating HEAPS, plus enjoying my fizz too. I guess that's the beauty and effectiveness of SW though Grin

AvaLeStrange · 16/04/2016 11:29

Very glam Calzone Grin

I was determined to nail the first stone this week but I'm really struggling.

Did OK Wednesday & Thursday but felt constantly hungry. Was eating everything I was supposed to and full syns but had the munchies all day (not PM but mid cycle so wonder if that's a thing?)

Yesterday DH and I had an extremely rare day off together - we went food shopping and ended up stopping off at the fishmongers. When we got home DH made moules mariniere for lunch with tiger bread & butter and a glass of sauvignon blanc.

Finished the wine off in the evening with cheese & crackers, sweet chilli sun bites & sour cream dip and a small bar of hazelnut chocolate Confused Angry.

So far have had 2 slices of toast with marmite today, thinking ham & mushroom omelette for lunch.

DD has a friend over to stay later and I'm doing them crispy chicken wraps which I love, but will just have the chicken scattered over salad.

Suspect it will be another rubbish week Sad.

Buttwing · 16/04/2016 11:53

Butt....most of it's still there, so there's still time for me to fail, haha! Am impressed with the whole no sugar time thing, there's no way I could cope!

Re: nuts - if you like pistachios, I recommend going for those, you can have 35 for your HexB which seems more generous than the others!

Rupeomatic · 16/04/2016 12:09

Morning all. 1lb off this week, which is sort-of OK as I was away for 4 days, and sort of not, because I caved last night and had 11 Extra syns worth of chocolate. It was late and I should have just gone to bed, but I scoffed instead.

Never mind. New day today.

KittyOShea · 16/04/2016 12:49

2 SP days leading up to a very synful day today!

B- porridge etc
L- eggs, fruit, hi fi
D- going out don't know where yet- somewhere booked in Dublin then out around the pubs where no doubt a lot of Wine will be taken!

Will try to get back on SP tomorrow to make up for it

AvaLeStrange · 16/04/2016 13:03

Thanks Buttwing.

DH has been off for 3 weeks and in that time about 5 loaves of tiger bread have entered the house, but yesterday was the first time I'd had any...surely I deserve 1lb off for that at least?!

DD and I just had the same for lunch - mugshot, mini babybel x 2, beetroot, baby toms, cucumber, olives & Ryvita minis.

Making chocolate mousse for DD and her friend this evening...thankfully I don't think I've got enough ingredients for more than 2 portions!

calzone · 16/04/2016 14:05

Must get back on plan......

B....3 Linda sausages
2 bacon
2 eggs
Beans
Fried potatoes
Mushrooms

Coffee

Calzone how do you cook your eggs? Do you start off frying then poach? Smile

Buttwing · 16/04/2016 15:46

Thanks Emily I love pistachios I can feel a little trip to Sainsburys coming on!

Oriana my eggs look like that and I fry in a non stick pan then pop them under the grill for a minute. I do omelettes the same way.

EmilyK83 · 16/04/2016 18:39

Pistachios the way forward!!

They look like my fried eggs too - I do mine in a frying pan with a lid. Spray the pan with frylight, get it hot, then crack the eggs in. Then I add a few tbsp of water and put the lid on - it steams the tops of the eggs and cooks them...

OrianaBanana · 16/04/2016 18:42

Sounds great I hate the slimy top bits but I do like a runny yolk Smile

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 16/04/2016 19:54

DH, who does the cooking, has been away so I have had the SW Ready Meals two nights running. Then out for lunch today - DS wanted to go to Ask, so I had a half portion of pasta with aubergine and tomatoes and a salad.

We are away for a night tomorrow - will be eating out, then hotel or supermarket breakfast. Weigh in is Tuesday morning so need to make good choices. Argh!

FannyFanakapan · 16/04/2016 19:55

b: Eggy bread and sliced banana with yoghurt
l: Sushi (2.5s), tin of fish, 1/2 packet of mini cheddars (3.5); 1 alpen light bar (3)
d: COttage pie with sweet potato mash, mixed veg.

Sn: 3 kiwis, apple.

HexA in tea.

emwithme · 16/04/2016 20:37

I have recently cracked heh eggs in frylight. I don't like any kind of skirt on my eggs so crack them into a ceramic pan, sprayed with frylight, cold. Then put a lid on and leave for a couple of minutes. Result - set white but still runny yolk.

Today's food:

Brunch: Bacon, fried eggs, beans, mushrooms, tomato
Snack: Mugshot, apple, satsumas
Dinner: Carbonara (from January's magazine). The sauce itself was nice, but the taste of tinned ham was far too pervasive for my liking. I'm skipping that next time but increasing the amount of "proper" bacon. Champagne (just because) - 2 glasses (that's my syns taken care of!)
HEA: Milk
HEB: Hifi bars

My best friend visited today with her 5 week old DS. He is the most adorable boy ever and I am SO broody. DH and I need to wait a little to TTC, though, we were first waiting for me to come off some meds (which I am now) but now we want to go to Cuba at Christmas, and that's in the Zika zone, so we're delaying until March-ish next year. That also fits with me being at work for long enough to get maternity pay! After she visited she went for a walk along the beach and then fish & chips (which I resisted).

The two pics are me, six years ago this week, and today. There's about 5 stone between the two pics...and the first pic is one of the reasons I first joined SW. I was horrified at how fat I'd got.

Scratch the 2.5 Syns day. I went out jogging and fell. I've got a horrendously swollen foot and can hardly walk. I also fell in the view of several cars. To make up for the pain and embarrassment I've just eaten 50g of cadburys chocolate. BlushShock Too scared to check how many Syns it is.
