Morning everyone, hello new people!

I'd second getting in lots of things you can eat freely, cold lean meats, gherkins, mullerlight (if you like them), speedy fruit and veg. I cooked up a batch of chicken legs that I could gnaw on when bored (ready prepped ones have a few syns, but still ok). Seafood sticks and smoked salmon and eggs lots of eggs. Wink

Hi all,

I have been going to slimming world since September and have lost just over 2 stone with 3 stone left to go. I am a bit worried about weighing in this week as I had a surprise 3lb loss over christmas and got my 2 stone sticker. I thought I had lost a bit but not 3lb Shock. I weighed in at an evening class as I missed my usual morning weigh in which makes the 3lb loss even more surprising. I'm sure the scales must be different at the evening group. I will be gutted if I go to my usual morning group this week and the scales show a gain!

I started off squeezing into a size 18 and I'm now a comfortable size 16 which feels great I'm aiming to slim down to a size 14 before the summer. My ultimate goal is a size 12 but I can't even remember the last time I wore anything smaller than a 16 so I will be very excited to fit into a 14. I agree, it's lovely to set your own target at SW. My consultant never makes me feel as though my target should be lower or puts any pressure on which I have felt at other slimming clubs. I'm lucky to have a lovely group near me and we all help keep each other on track.

Hope we all have a fab, slim 2016!

PinkSmiles · 31/12/2015 14:00

Feeling fabulous today! Started the couch to 5k yesterday and walking between 10,000 and 12,000 steps a day every day for the last 4 days. Hopefully see some results on Saturday.

Today:
B: banana and tea (not so great but was rushing)
L: salmon fillet with huge salad
D: will be slimming world soup (pea and mint)

Have some strawberries and blackberries for snack this afternoon.

KittyOShea · 31/12/2015 15:51

Someone was looking for an offer earlier. Our consultant has just posted that there's one in the Mirror this week.

overitalready · 31/12/2015 17:04

I've stared at the couch to 5k so far pink not actually moved from the couch but it's something I may get round too if I can build up the courage to let the outside world see me attempting not to die whilst running

Today :

L - Mugshot etc

D -Fake Nandos chicken breast with cauli rice, salad and Aspargus

Happy new year all

PinkSmiles · 31/12/2015 18:23

OverItAlready I've only done day one. Went out last night under the cover of darkness Hmm whilst I felt near dead last night afterwards, I did it and coped. Actual felt really proud of myself Blush Can't go out again tonight as the other half is at work Envy and I don't have anyone to watch the kids.

Seriously at 17st+, if I can do it, anyone can Wink whether I keep it up is another matter but I'm feeling quite motivated with my weight loss (26lb in 6 weeks) and my new found enthusiasm to shifting my arse

Happy New Years to everyone GrinThanksWine

HashTagYesYes · 31/12/2015 18:26

Hi all! I'm starting SW online tomorrow - I work crazy hours and find group very tedious. So I am relying on you lot to keep me motivated! I am working tomorrow so no hangover to contend with!

Will post starting stats tomorrow...

HashTagYesYes · 31/12/2015 18:27

Does anyone know of any online promos?

QueenofLouisiana · 31/12/2015 18:34

Online promo: aviva15 or avivagold15 I used the latter yesterday and got 3 months gold membership for just under £55. Saves about £40 I think.

calzone · 31/12/2015 18:55

I think we are all a bit all over the place with going to different groups and weighing at different times so we need to just get back on it ASAP and our Normal routines will resume......

Welcome to all the new ones.

KittyOShea · 31/12/2015 19:00

Good start to the day with
B- porridge, fruit
L- courgette and broccoli soup

Now out for 4 course meal and drinks...

FannyFanakapan · 31/12/2015 19:03

Im looking forward to the kids being back at school and DH at work so I can get back on track - doing OK this week, but its hard when everyone else is still in festive mode.

Today:

B: Scrambled eggs, leftover salmon, melon
L: Baked potato, cheese (hex A) , beans. Apple.
D: CHicken fajita salad. counting 5 for guacamale, salsa. Orange.

Syns: About 4 for milk in tea through the day.

I made a massive amount of food for DD in the freezer today, so she can take it to uni. Took me a couple of hours, but Im impressed with myself - if I can get motivated, I might just do some batch cooking for myself! It would certainly help on busy days to have lots of stuff in the freezer. Might even buy a new freezer......

HashTagYesYes · 31/12/2015 19:32

Thanks queen!

Thinking of starting on SP - got a hot date Jan 16th! Anyone had much success with it?

blondiep14 · 31/12/2015 19:42

Hello!
Another one here that is going to try to stick to slimming world! I know it works but I just tend to fall off the wagon after about 3 weeks. I can't always get to groups due to shift pattern but I have the booklet etc from when I went in the summer so have dug that out and started this morning. Long term I would like to lose 4 stone but if I can lose 3 stone I would be really pleased. I stocked up yesterday on foods and did a bit of a batch booking yesterday to start me off. Good luck everyone!

fraggle84 · 01/01/2016 08:56

Happy new year everyone

Completely back on it today, going to a family party at lunch but it's a buffet so plan to eat before I go then just have a few bits, will be running after dd and ds so no one will notice!!

Have sorted out all the naughty things for dh to look at, anything he won't eat is going in the food bank trolley in asda tomorrow!!

Asda ordered for delivery tomorrow and even added the sw magazine to it!!

I have 3 stone to lose by sept (want a healthy bmi by the time ds goes to school)

Thinking about some exercise but I have multiple sclerosis and not sure feel nervous to push myself as need to have my energy to look after my dc but definitely want to speak to the nurses about it as I'm looking abit flabby where I've lost the weight (2 stone so far)

L - chicken salad
D - pasta with roasted veg

A+b = low fat cheddar, hi fi

Syns - salad cream (2), milk in coffee (2), buffet (not sure but determined to be under 10)
