Well done kitty I am Xmas Envy
I predict a loss for you next week heyhey Grin
improbable I am the same height as you and weighed almost the same and have lost 3.5 stone in around 5 months. When you join you are given a book which shows the free foods, syns etc and you can find more online. Not sure about any offers but you can do 12 weeks for the price of 10 I think. Good luck.

Welcome improbable! There is a free membership offer in Woman magazine this week. I recommend getting the app for the syns and there are loads of recipes online but I like books and have made loads out of the Best Loved and Fakeaways.

Weighted tonight and lost 4lb so really pleased after my gain and shows how much better I am on plan, feeling better again already.

B; Toast HEB
L; Pasta, carrots, beef and mushrooms
D; Carbonara

No treats tonight as going out tomorrow for New Years Eve.

You currently get free membership if you buy a 12 week countdown, which is paying for 10 weeks in advance and getting two free weeks as well, so £49.50 for membership and 12 weeks.

You get the basic pack with foods listed with that, for anything else I'd use the website or app over buying the food directory tbh.

Brilliant advice, thanks !! I think there should be a subscription to the thread tbh, I can see I'm going to be here for the long haul Wink

Will check woman and definitely get the £50 thing too, 3 months for £50 sounds a bargain!

Well done to those of you with my stats that have lost SO much weight!! If I can do anywhere near that I will be in lovely dresses with no thigh chafe by summer!!!! Fingers crossed...

Starting in the morning- signed up this evening to the online version.

If I stick fruit in a nutribullet is it still free? TIA.

KittyOShea · 30/12/2015 21:48

No Queen- blending or cooking fruit removes the fibre and therefore makes them syns.

For example an apple is free but stewed or puréed Apple is 2.5 syns per hundred grams Sad

Bugger! I thought that was the case, but was hoping. Xmas Sad

Kitty well done for deciding to give up smoking! I quit four years ago I was a full on 20 a day smoker first thing in the morning and last thing at night. I never thought I would be able to do it but I did. It was honestly the best thing I ever did I found the Alan Carr book really helpful but everyone is different. Good luck you can do itSmile

Thought I would pop in and say hello. I've been doing SW online since April and I've lost 20.3kg so far. I've hit a bit of a plateau recently. It's taken me 2 months to lose 2kg as I keep fluctuating. I need a bit of a kick up the bum to get started with the losses again really. Good luck to everyone starting out. I look forward to reading your successes! Hopefully you'll inspire me to start losing again!

Hi, mind if I join? Feeling inspired by some of your weight losses, they're great!
I did SW years ago and lost 2 stone, so I know it works if you stick to it properly.
I really need to start again as lately I have just been getting heavier and heavier. I was out over Christmas, and someone's uploaded a pic of me to FB in the pub.
I look HUGE. Sad I need to do something about it as I'm 5ft 3 and I'm somewhere between 12 and a half stone and 13st which is far, far too heavy for my height.
I'm the heaviest I've ever been, including when I was pregnant.
Tomorrow's NYE, so won't be able to fully start it up again as having takeaway and drinks.
New Years Day though, I'm 100% starting again. I'm getting so unfit and frumpy and I've had enough.

A big welcome to everyone tonight. :)

It was good to face the scales today and I only gained 2lbs which is fine.

Am trying to be back on plan as I really don't feel great off plan.....cramps and sickness today. :(

But my amazing triumph today was buying a size 10 dress in Fat Face. I was soooooo chuffed. :)

Have a great week everyone and even if it doesn't go well, get weighed and face the music.

Hi All - hope you don't mind me joining in. I've been looking at which diet plan might suit me and have decided to give SW a try as I think it will work best for me. Have decided to join my local group on Saturday so just getting prepared for it! I haven't been on the scales for a while but I'm pretty sure I'm at my heaviest ever and looking at about 7 stone to shift once and for all, so any top tips gratefully appreciated. I need to do this for me and the whole family so that I can enjoy my time with the kids and not struggle to get around on my aching joints!

Welcome deadlegs. :)

Get yourself ready by preparing a meal plan. Lots of vegetables and fruit. Get a good variety.

Congratulations on the 10 Calzone!
I'm dreaming of a size 14 at the moment but that's one thing I love so far about Slimming World, no one tells you want your target should be, it's what makes you happy so I don't feel uncomfortable around other people who are the size I want to be but they want to be smaller. Sorry that was longer than planned!

Welcome Deadlegs
I am looking forward to getting my booked out again tomorrow and planning the week now the supermarkets don't look like a sweet shop!
