Yes the soups are great to have to hand when your tummy's rumbling! Sometimes i have a bowl whilst I'm cooking the dinner, just to keep me going

CoconutAmericano · 19/11/2014 21:32

Well the salmon pilaf was delicious Smile. would recommend. Ive so much left over for tomorrow's lunch. Yay!

fruitloopsandfruitshoots · 19/11/2014 22:06

Oh yay, glad you liked it coconut! It makes a massive amount doesn't it?! Soooo yummy! I had my chilli and wedges, and some cheese on top, it was also really yummy! I am so full now, which is good after being hungry all day! Weight in tomorrow, eeeek.

CoconutAmericano · 19/11/2014 22:13

The very best of luck fruitloop, not that you need it Wink. Let us know!

fruitloopsandfruitshoots · 19/11/2014 22:35

Thanks coconut! I will let you know how I get on tomorrow. I'm really hoping for at least 2.5lb as then i'll get my half a stone award, whoop whoop! Smile

Worryingwombat · 20/11/2014 10:00

thanks for the kick up the bum everyone :)

feel like we should change the name of this thread as it is such a lovley support group!! :)

fruit loops - I am with you today!! my weigh in to at 5:30pm arrgghhhh!!
that's all I have to say about it arrgghhhh! LOL

hope it has gone well this week i have resisted the urge to weigh myself!

I have had a proud moment to in that a top my DH bought me last year (a retro mickey mouse one as I am a bit of a Disney geek!) fits me today and I am wearing it with pride!

with a deep breath I admit it is a size 24/26 but last Christmas I could not even get it over my boobs never mind my belly!!!

i am so jealous of you all who only have a stone or 2 to go! i can not wit to be there!! last weeks as you know i weighed 21 st 7 1/2 lb it just seems like to be even at the top of my healthy BMI around 10 st as i am only 5ft 3in!!!!

that to lose over 11 1/2 stone just seems impossible so i have decided not to look that far i have 4 mini goals now

  1. to reach my first stone off (come on scales tonight!!!)
2 to reach 1 1/2 stone off 3 to reach 2 stone off 4 to reach 19st 13lb my club 10 weight :)

that is as far as i am looking at this at the moment :)

ok fingers crossed for tonight for myself and fruitloops! and any one else weighing in!!

up date later

It is a lovely support group isn't it!

I think that's really good wombat, breaking it down into smaller goals is definitely better for motivation I think. I've set a higher target weight than what I ideally want as I though it would feel more achievable if it was a bit closer. WHOOP, well done that your top fits you Grin It sounds great, I must admit, i'm a Disney fan too!

Good luck tonight, we can DO THIS!

CoconutAmericano · 20/11/2014 12:36

Good luck tonight wombat!! Im delighted you are already seeing a change in your body. Wear that top with pride! It's such a buzz isn't it?! I cant wait to wear my skinny jeans and not feel like an overstuffed sausage in them Grin
I think since tonight seems to be weigh in night for a few of you ladies i might make it weigh in night for me too! I am not in a class, going it alone,(well, with you ladies!).

Good luck for later!!

MisForMumNotMaid · 20/11/2014 13:09

So pleased, today was 3lb off. After two good weeks on plan with weigh ins of a maintain and then random 1/2lb gain I'm really glad that things are finally showing on the scales again.

Having to realistically accept that 3lb a week isn't achievable (every week) and to revise targets based on a 1-2lb loss instead. Still hoping to loose another 6lb by Christmas (5 weigh ins) so I'm under the next stone (big psychological thing). Isn't it funny how some lbs mean so much more than others.

Worryingwombat · 20/11/2014 13:11

you are never alone with us lot coconut!! LOL

and now I have discovered fruitloops is a Disney fan too well it could just all get a bit more mental LOL

Let me know coconut if you need anything or any recipes I will happily copy send them to you from the SW website :) and welcome to the Thursday weigh in club!!

I wish I could have the motivation to go it alone but I need the kick up the ass going to class gives me! as well as the support we give each other on here!!

wombat. That's fabulous!! :). I am so pleased for you.

Even if it had been one pound I'd have been pleased for you...I am so happy you are able to let it all go x

fruitloopsandfruitshoots · 21/11/2014 07:00

Wow wombat! That's amazing, well done well done! 5lb is so so good, you must be really pleased. Slimmer of the week AND your stone award, brilliant news. Grin Flowers

Here's to another successful week ladies! And many more to come. We can do this! We are doing it!

Anyone got any specific aims for pre xmas loss? I'd like to get my 1.5 stone award, but would be happy with my stone award. I would love my 3 stone award by the end of feb (my birthday!). I'm hopeful I can make is happen.

CoconutAmericano · 21/11/2014 10:48

I want to be 10 1/2 by christmas, so 5 lbs to go. My birthday is the end of Feb too fruitloop and ill be away so i want to be 10 stone.

Dh took me for breakfast this morning. I resisted the full fry up like he had but i did have a cajun chicken wrap with red onion and mixed peppers. No butter or cheese but god knows how many syns were in it Confused. I couldn't pass up on a nice breakfast with dh though, he works long hours, i barely get to see him. I will have to be strict over the next couple of days to make up for it.

What's for dinner tonight ladies? I have drawn a blank. Maybe a sw curry hmmm..

fruitloopsandfruitshoots · 21/11/2014 12:44

I want to be 10 stone by Feb- maybe even 9 if it's possible! I don't think i've been 9 stone since I was 9 years old though, so I doubt it will happen!

Your breakfast sounds fine, I think that's the key to SW, it's about making healthier choices, and you made a healthier choice by not having the fry up, so it's all okay! It sounds pretty healthy anyway, chicken and onion and peppers are all free, so it's just the wrap you need to count, and you can just have that as syns/healthy B- no damage done as far as I can see Smile

We sound pretty alike Coconut! We both want to be 10 stone, we both have Birthdays at the end of Feb, we both have DH's who work long hours, and you are also thinking of making a SW curry for dinner, which is what i'm making for dinner too! SNAP!

MisForMumNotMaid · 21/11/2014 17:24

I set myself lots of mini targets and find it helps. I have also written out the weeks by weigh in date on the pages in the back of the book. I've had a reverse date list through till Christmas so at each weigh in I knew exactly how many weeks left and could do a quick calculation (based on averaging 2lb/ week loss) as to where I could hope to be.

I'm averaging under 2lb loss/ week since September. But it is going down and loss is really showing. October is a busy birthdays month with my eldest DS, my SIS and BIL's birthdays and my wedding anniversary so I blame October for the slightly lower than expected loss.

I'm planning in three purple plan days Christmas eve, Christmas Day and boxing day. I'm anticipating a slight gain at the next weigh in that will then take a week to lose so effectively three weeks neutral weight. I don't go out New Years so that doesn't need to be factored in. My younger two have birthdays in January and February but that shouldn't scupper things as they are spread out. So in the weeks from mid Jan, when I will be back to my Xmas eve weigh in through till mid/ end April approx 14 weeks at 2lb/ week thats 28lb which would take me to target by May (assuming I have a slimming world friendly Easter). We're having a few days away with my parents, sis and family in May and it'll be a year from when I started so I really hope to make my target by then.

Worryingwombat · 21/11/2014 17:42

Hey coconut and fruitloops do you both become skinny minnies but Christmas and Feb and then abandon me!! I am still gonna be at it this time next year!! LOL

my aim is to get to 10 stone too it is just in my healthy BMI and that will do me :)

So I HAD 12 stone 3 lb to lose I how have 11stone 2 1/2 lb to go!! Bloody hell!! Ok not looking at that number again!!

Tonight I am making tuna and sweet corn frittatas my mum made them yesterday and said they were really nice I will post the pics she sent me :)
