Wombat i see your gain and raise you 4.5lb. Thats 9lb above my target and 6lb into the red you've seriously over indulged bracket. Calzone 1.5lbs over three weeks. I can gain that over three days!

I weighed in today just after flying back (as its been four weeks, how did that happen) and i think i might be retaining some water so hopefully it will drop back a chunck quickly.

I shouldn't have gone on hols just above target.

Still it was fun and i don't regret my choices. Onwards and downwards. Think i'll be paying next week and hopefully just back in range the week after.

I hope that Haven was fun, all ills are now behind you. How many weeks to disney now?

Worryingwombat · 14/08/2015 08:07

I know calzone! I have been terrible to this thread GrinGrin

Mis I know you will easily get back in to target range!

We all seem to be well now!! Don't want to speak to soon as I bet the kids will now get ill and go down like dominosGrin

Weighed in yesterday with a 2.5lb loss, I am happy with this, still technically 2 lb up in my "gain" but I hope to wipe that clean this week!

Also I was voted my groups women of the yearSmile such a lovely thing and am was very honoured and chuffed to be awarded a lovely certificate and sash! Which of course I will be wearing at all time round the house to show my hubby how fabulous I am GrinGrin

My holiday is 11 weeks away and counting!! I am putting a big push in to lose 2lb a week and be nearing my 8 stone award by the time we fly!

I have prepared my self for a massive huge gain in Florida! But it will be worth it! Wink I can sort anything out when I get back!!

How's everyone else got on this week!!

Any more pics in the dress wombat? You have done so well

mumstheword1978 · 19/08/2015 13:37

I find entering your progress on the graph a really helpful tool to stay motivated. You can literally see your habits and eating activities on screen and this only further pushes you to want to keep up the routine and remain determined!!
I am SW fan for the last 2 years. Found it helpful when I was going through my pregnancy (twins!) and post pregnancy and I haven't given up on the new tricks and tips I have learned. I think being a big foodie can be difficult too, especially if you like chips and carby foods!!I know I do!!
As you say, you can cook the actifry chips quickly and there's no guilt eating them! I actually bought a new one recently after seeing an offer on the Slimming world magazine. quite a good reduction and it's my 'go-to' kitchen appliance for cooking myself and and the family healthy meals. the link is here if you guys are interested.

Always good to hear tips and tricks from others on here, so I am delighted to have joined everyone today!

TammySwanson · 20/08/2015 17:16

Thanks for that tip about the actifry, mumstheword! I have ordered one. (Although to be honest the '£100 off' is a bit misleading as they are only slightly more expensive in places like Argos - still, 10 pounds cheaper is 10 pounds saved) Smile

MisForMumNotMaid · 20/08/2015 21:44

1lb off this week. Thats okay and is probably a bit lucky because we've had several meals out, an indulgence night involving a bottle of wine and last night had a fish and chip supper from the take away. I've been known to have on plan weeks when I've had mistery gains so I wont gloat about the loss.

We're away for a week again next week, just in a caravan in Wales so hopefully i can focus on SW catering and not drink and my weight will continue to decline.

My DH joined the gym with the DC and I today. He joined us in the pool which is fab. He has significant body issues from an abusive childhood and his psoriasis is severe so he worries people will stare. We're thinking of having gym inductions end of next week when we're back and i might actually start to try and tone up a little.

I went on a bike ride this morning and then dug the allotment for a sweaty hour or two so its been an active day.

Due to an egg glut I made the SW quark and egg based carbonara for lunch, it was lovely. Well worth a try.

calzone · 03/09/2015 20:36

I gained 6.5lbs last night.

Oh well.

Onwards and upwards......

Made chickpea Dahl loaf and cauliflower cheese lasagne for dinner. Was awesome!!

ihavenonameonhere · 14/09/2015 23:49

Any update wombat?

calzone · 15/09/2015 23:07

anothernumberone · 29/10/2015 21:09

Wombat you are so amazing. I don't know how but I lost this thread from my watched threads and it suddenly popped back up and you are stones lighter. Way to go.

Worryingwombat · 04/12/2015 21:56

Lost access to this site after the hacking attack and have just got round to setting everything up again!

How are you all, how are you mis!! Missed you lots!

I WAS the proud owner of my 7stone loss award! I say was as I had a huge gain after my dream florida holiday 2 weeks ago so the battle is on to shift the gain!!

Feel like a new women! This time last year I was sat in my size 32 pj's!! Now I am writing this in my size 16/18 ones!! Grin

Hope you will pop on this thread and say hello! I will be setting up a new one soon! Ready to start on year 2!!

Good to see your name flash up on active threads again Wombat.

7 stone is bloomin amazing. Florida no doubt was too.

Gains are a part of life, whats the point of finding control if you can't allow yourself the odd fluctuation.

I'm still at 5 stone loss plus and minus a few pounds each month. I keep muttering about tackling the last stone. I think my current aim is to deal with it in the New Year by Easter and keep reasonable but not tight control over Christmas.

Worryingwombat · 06/12/2015 19:52

Hey mis!!

Well done you on sticking with it and maintaing!

I am feeling the pressure to lose the massive holiday gain we are talking 20lb hereShock but it will all come off again!

One had a once in a life time holiday!

OP posts:
MisForMumNotMaid · 06/12/2015 22:04

Its jelly weight - just don't let it set and it'll come off faster than the stuff thats hung around a while. You know you can do it. At 2lb a week thats only ten weeks and i'll bet it was worth it.

I'm sure theres some science behind that theory.

With big life experiences you don't want your memory to be that was when i didn't want to eat because i was scared of a gain, oh I remember that day i was starving.

The thing with once in a lifetime is it shows you whats out there in that there big wide world and then you NEED to start planning your next once in a lifetime.

Have you got some good pics? One of the things thats amusing me is flicking through holiday photos and remembering the days out and things that happened rather than selectively deleting all images with me in and cringing at their existence. I'm not saying i like every image but my first thought with photos isn't fear.
