Am #34lbsdown so far

Really pleased for me GrinGrin

MisForMumNotMaid · 11/07/2015 20:35

2 lb and well back into the game. Glad you came round to living the diet and enjoying your syns Wombat.

Time for a weight comparisson chart I think. This one is in kilos so divide your pounds by 2.2.

Calzone you've lost an adult wallaby or gazelle! You're going to love this, well might get a slight giggle, I've lost a Northern Wombat!

Jen1610 · 11/07/2015 21:40

Just read this full thread and am inspired by all your losses. Wombat you are amazing!! Well done!

Iv two stone to lose. and though it might seem a small amount compared to what some of you amazing ladies have already lost I am tall, 5"9 and have a big frame so I'm at 13stone8 and the biggest iv ever been not pregnant. I'm really unhappy. Usually sit between 11'6 and 12. so I want to try get to 11'8. I am away this weekend and the local sw here is a Tuesday so I am going to go join. I couldn't get into two size 14 dresses I bought for the weekend and decided I will not buy the next size and instead will do something about it to get back to a 12. You have all inspired me to do sw. I joined curves on Wednesdays and done a workout then and y day and not back to Tuesday next week but will squeeze in four workouts.

Iv got a holiday in October for my thirtieth to lanzarote. I went four years ago to the same place and have a pic in a bikini and I want to get back to the same size.

Hope I can keep posting here to keep me positive.

Smarterthantheaveragebeaver · 12/07/2015 13:49

Ive also just read the whole thread. Firstly I have to confess to Wombat for stalking her Insta page - in your photos you look fab and happy, with such a lovely smile (sorry if that sounds patronising). Im in awe of your determination and perseverance. Ive never managed to stick at it for more than half a stone before giving up.

Im re-joining this week as I want to lose around 5 1/2 stone. Inspired by this thread I got on the scales this morning. Im 5' 6" and 14 1/2 stone, have never been this heavy and need to kick myself up the bum.

In an effort got get fitter Im also going to start cycling to work, a 10 mile round trip, so that should save ££ as well as helping me lose lbs

Worryingwombat · 12/07/2015 23:25

Sorry to be daft wombat but what's insta smarter? and thanks for the welcome.

Smarterthantheaveragebeaver · 15/07/2015 14:45

It's Instagram.

I weighed in today at 14 st 2 lb. Going to lose 5 st this time!

Ive got the rest of the day off so am going to do a proper meal plan and shop [organised]

MisForMumNotMaid · 15/07/2015 15:57

Don't forget to plan in few treats too. Thats the way to keep focused.

I'm still intending to get down to 9 something (13.5 probably). Psychologically i'd just like to be under 10.

I Mentioned my desire to shift another stone at group last week to be met with 'no no you've lost loads, think hard about it, you really don't need to etc'.

My BMI is sitting at 25, even slimming world suggests 23 is the healthy place to aim so I feel that another stone barey takes me to skinny just into healthy.

Still loss isn't going to start again in earnest until after the holidays. I aim to maintain/ drop to bottom of target then push on.

tabulahrasa · 15/07/2015 23:38

"Time for a weight comparisson chart I think. This one is in kilos so divide your pounds by 2.2."

Don't multiply by accident...I was Shock when I got giant panda...

Worryingwombat · 17/07/2015 22:32

Evening all!!

Well a maintain again for me this weekHmm

Over the last 4 weeks I have had 2 maintains and lost only 3lb

I am filling in the slimming world SAS log this week to see if it highlights any issues I maybe having!?

My plan for this week is to get my ass back to the gym! Which I did today!! Attacking a double class Grin

Checking portion sizes
Upping the speed foods
Sensible Syns
Drinking lots

And write everything down!!!

Will see how we get on!!

hstar1995 · 18/07/2015 10:06

half a lb gain today. not surprised as was really strict Saturday- Thursday then pigged out last night, think I need to include treats in my plan to avoid this

Smarterthantheaveragebeaver · 22/07/2015 15:47

Well, my first weigh in was OK, not quite what I'd hoped for. 2 1/2 off. Only another 70-od to go Grin

MisForMumNotMaid · 22/07/2015 17:27

beaver don't be down. 2.5lb is nearly a 9000 calorie deficit. Thats a great loss.

I've been a plodder. I didn't get the huge losses some experience but I did get to about 70lb.

hstar a loss is a loss. Having the odd blow out i believe helps speed things along (so I tell myself). I don't know if its reactionary guilt afterwards or if it gives my body a shock but losses seam to get moving again after a bit of a blow out. I'm a big fan of treats as part of the plan. I decided i'd rather get to a healthy size in a sustainable way than crash diet then slowly put it back on. Treats for me are an important part of life [I lack a life emoticon]

Worryingwombat · 23/07/2015 22:33

Congratulations star and smarter! Losses are losses and moving forward!!Grin

Fab day for me lost 3lb this week and received my 6 1/2 stone award!! Whoop!! GrinGrinGrinGrin

I am sticking with the SAS log this week but worry about the weekend as tomorrow is my sons 8th birthday and we are going to haven for the weekend!Shock

I aim to stay on plan but to be honest I am feeling very poorly tonight think I am coming down with tonsillitis Confused I hurt and feel pants!!

Hope it does not ruin the weekend!!

wombat have been reading this thread over the last couple of nights whilst on night feeds with my newborn and just want to say wow! Your transformation is truly astounding and motivational, you should be so proud of yourself!

I rejoined on Tuesday, have done the plan before but stopped when I got pregnant. My Dd is four weeks old and I'm actually over half a stone lighter than before I got pregnant as I had hyperemsis (again) meaning I didn't gain any weight.

Looking forward to being part of this thread and it keeping me awake during night feeds Grin

banananugget · 25/07/2015 22:10

Hi I'd like to join too please! I've read through the whole thread and am amazed at how well you're doing!

I'm doing SW online so don't go to group but WI at home. I love the online mean planner and syn calculator. I have to admit I haven't done it properly so far but I started 15 st 2.5 lbs and am currently 14 st 12.5 lbs so have lost 4 lbs. I'm a teacher and have the summer off work but would love to be 13 st 13 lbs by the time I go back to work. A hard task I know but I want to be as close as possible and at least be 14 st 2.5 to have lost a stone in total.

I have set other mini targets but that's the one I want first!

Loving the inspiration from you guys, keep it up!

Going2LoseHalfOfBella · 01/08/2015 21:29

Hi All

Can i just say well done to all for the weight loses so far x Grin x

I have been reading the post and it has given me encouragement to join SW, my 1st meeting will be on Tuesday and i am absolutely Blush with how my weight has gotten out of control, after four children and studying for my degree, i am ready to fight back.

I believe my weight at the moment to be 20 stone and 11lb and i have set myself goals, 1st sign up on Tuesday lol

then lose half a stone - lose a stone - lose three stone by christmas, then work up to six stone, eventually around a 9-10 stone loss.

I would like to try and get to around 11-12 stone so almost half of me, a whole person Shock

Please can i join in with you all to help me on my way
Any tips would be lovely

Hello all

Welcome to everyone who has joined our little group!! Grin

I am sorry I have not been on here but I have been very poorly over the past 2 weeks and on a lot of medication both antibiotics and steriods for a very nasty chest infection and sinus infectionHmm

So I weighed in this week with a 4.5lb gain!!ShockShockShock I knew it was coming as I was unable to eat anything other than soup and amazing Ice cream for a week!! Plus I found out that some medications and strepsils have Syns too!! Total disaster!!

But I am moving forward! Onwards and upwards I will get this gain off and keep on going!!

I have also been nominated for my groups women of the year! How lovely is thatGrinGrin

How are you all getting on??!
