My little boy is nine days old. He sleeps pretty well during the day but at night just wants to be held and breastfed. He doesn't settle in his moses basket at night (but he will quite often do so during the day)

Anyone else up doing the same?! I'm not keen on the idea of co-sleeping but would be grateful for any advice. Baby sleeps in a gro-snug and we have a dream sheep but I'm guessing this frequent feeding and love of cuddles in the night is probably just par for the course at this early stage? 😊 I am napping during the day so I'm probably averaging about 6 hrs sleep in a 24 hr period.

@Jellybabie3 my DH is the same with playing with the baby, it’s a complete nightmare. Think he just thinks they drop off when tierd ... as if Angry

I’ve had 2 long naps after 2pm today so guessing it’s a hyperactive night again today.

When are non cot sleeper mums going to try again with the cot? Or are you still trying ? I flipped baby onto his back today after sleeping on me for one hour and it was like a jack in the box, help!

This is our first feed of the night at 3.40. Sounds great but he was awake at 12.10 and 1.10 and needed his dummy to get back to sleep. I also didn’t get to bed until 10 because he napped from 4.15-5, woke up hungry, fed a bit, became over tired on the second breast and had a total meltdown before going back to sleep and having a much later than usual bedtime feed.

So swings and roundabouts really!
