I have gone to customize, chosen MN classic, clicked save etc and I still have this set up which thank you very much is not for me right now. PLEASE help as this is ruining my relaxing breakfast over MN while DS watches Thomas time! [panic emoticon]

I've set to classic and it still has the new look.

TECH: my problem is that the contrast is too low and the font size for the topic titles is too small. I have middle-aged long-sightedness and it is quite hard to read. How can I at least improve the colour scheme for improved contrast?

Ah, it's not too bad now but I don't like Threads I'm on, AT ALL.[strop]

Hate the new look. I will be in Flouncers Corner by the end of the day if I can't get classic back.

It's much harder to scan

The Latin is something which web designers use to show you the layout - it's supposed to stop you just reading the words and not noticing the layout, which is what tends to happen if you have proper sentences there.

Because "lorem ipsum" doesn't mean anything to you, you see the colours and overall shape, instead of arguing about the content

It's the topic page, it's so hard to read.

Argh! It's like when they change the layout at the supermarket!! I have finally gone onto Mumsnet new, but only because Mumsnet Classic has disappeared, and I can't flaming well find anything on either.

I strop at the supermarket when they move everything around and my shopping takes 3 hours longer than normal.

I would strop about this, but in truth, the shift up from 12 hours a day on MN to 15 hours doesn't seem to make much difference.

Noooooo! I could probably get used to this in a few weeks, but I don't want to. I can't understand threads I'm on, the posts on each thread are spread out so much it's really confusing. Off to find customise.

My Dad used to send me pound notes for my birthday.

I want the threads I've clicked on in active convos to be a different colour but can't get that even in MN classic. Anyone managed it?

I miss pound notes. If you give them out in people's change, they generally leave them as a tip - you can make loads.

MN Classic still looks horrible. All my threads are reading the wrong way as well.

i feel a bit bad for Tech now, especially after hearing about lack of sleep. but it was a bit of a shock. Hoping Classic will be revealed to me at some point

And I'm very unhappy that Active Convos only shows last 10 messages. Old site it used to be 60 and its how I find stuff.

You can change how many active convos there are etc on customize.
It's just the topic list/convo list look you can't seem to get back.

Well, I don't like that you can't see the whole of a long thread title, you have to click 'see all' to see all topics, which is one of my favourite ways to browse about, and the link-I've-been-too doesn't change colour.

Oh for flarping bananas sake, I really don't need to be trying to adjust this morning, I just wanted a bit of a gentle browse and a chat to friends.

Not really very happy, Tech-hard-work acknowledged.
