Xenophobia, homophonic, transphobia

Are you gonna do anything about it? Like, i know the line is that shoving the madness in the feminism board means it's not transphobia. And I know it's been done to death but I'm sick of it. It's not acceptable. Xenophobia, racism and homophobia also increasing.
And no. I won't leave. This is the biggest forum of its kind and it needs to represent and respect us all. And care that it's not.

It's even more amusing when someone counts posts.

Not really, but your criticism of someone for spending too much time on here when you yourself have been prolific with your posting looks a bit hypocritical.

I've not been on here for a decade. I was responding to information given freely to me.

You're easily pleased. All that to personally attack someone.

Personal attack? Hyperbole much?

A remark on the visible mismatch between criticism of others and behaviour.

Yep, proved your own point, this one now taken over by the agenda. And it is transphobia, the obsession with generalising fetish and predatory behaviour

No, it's malephobia. And the male sex is the predator sex class, which is why we have male and female spaces. Ask any rape survivor like me, or DV survivor, why fearing the predatory sex is both by instinct and experience, and is wise.

Information that inconveniently highlighted the fact that your posting frequency is such that you look a bit daft when you criticise others for it.

I have been here for almost a decade too, I suspect like most folk I dip in and out when the mood takes me rather then literally being on here continously. But I suspect you know that.

Why would I? You’re a stranger on the internet.

@spstchmu I agree with you. And I think it needs to be said.

I’m sick of seeing people who are supportive of trans rights being treated so disrespectfully.

I see the dependable FWR team are out on this thread, as aggressive as usual and scoring own-goals 😀

I’m certainly not part of any ‘team’. I read FWR posts that happen to come up on the Active feed (also posts about what colour of dress is ok for a wedding and parking problems and dogs in cafes and other assorted shite.) Somehow I have managed to draw my own conclusions, with my own brain, based on information available all around me. I imagine there are thousands of women like me on Mumsnet, who don’t frequent the FWR boards, yet whose views largely align with those expressed on there. I don’t need to be part of a team to see what’s in front of my eyes.

I say that it was a terrible tragedy. The two very disturbed adolescents who murdered Brianna had a list of people they wanted to target, for various reasons. Brianna was the only trans person on the list and was not the top target, but was unfortunately the first one they managed to get hold of.

I also say that fortunately in the UK trans-identified people are very rarely murdered. It appears to be a fairly safe demographic. This is not the impression you would get from campaigners, who have somehow managed to inveigle many councils and businesses into marking Trans Day of Remembrance with flags at halfmast and ceremonies akin to Remembrance Day.

It's a stark fact that if you are "trans" you are more likely to be a murderer than to be murdered.

Trans people are disproportionately represented in suicide stats.

We're sick of seeing people who are supportive of womens rights being treated so badly and with such hatred and disrespect. The gaslighting and DARVO truly is something to behold. Get back to us when women and feminists do this to males:

Abstract:
Transgender people are often portrayed as especially vulnerable to violence, but estimating victimization rates is difficult because reliable population denominators are lacking. This paper proposes an alternative approach, comparing the ratio of transgender homicide victims to perpetrators. It analyzes all homicides involving transgender people in Britain from 2000 to 2025. Victims were outnumbered by perpetrators, even excluding those who declared a transgender identity after imprisonment. Almost all cases involved natal males identifying as transwomen. The victim-perpetrator ratio among these individuals closely resembles that for males overall and differs markedly from that for females.

Where is your evidence?

It’s good you want to go on evidence.

The most thorough study is Biggs & North (Oxford, 2026), “Transgender Homicides in Britain, 2000-2025,” which tried to analyse all homicides involving trans people in Britain in that period.

It found 15 trans perpetrators and 11 trans victims.

More dangerous misinformation. And most trans suicide (including their depression and other mental health issues that some have) are post surgery, and are to do with surgery and recovery. https://www.transgendertrend.com/the-suicide-myth/

https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0016885 and the recent Finland study shows also most suicides are post surgery.

Plus, a trans man admitting the suicide thing is a myth, under oath in court. Threatening suicide is an abuser's method (usually male) used to manipulate and control the person, and therapists recommend you never give in to such attempts at emotional manipulation and control.

The vast majority of trans women are not a threat to cis women.

But you know that.

That applies to all men. “Trans women” pose the same statistical risk to women and girls as the rest of their sex.

I don’t believe you can change sex
despite the fact I don’t personally mind, i respect other women who do not want biological men in their toilets

but there is an overwhelming hatred and stereotyping of all
trans people as predatory sex offenders on Mumsnet, it has become an unhealthy obsession to some.
there are perfectly valid views to be expressed, I am concerned about young people with other vulnerabilities and mental health issues making irreversible decisions about their bodies.
it has become impossible to make any comment on Mumsnet without a post degenerating into a transphobic sounding board. The hatred is so disproportionate to reality, it makes me feel very uncomfortable

I'm a proficient multitasker, what can I say. I even make my own bread and throw pottery and pop down to the Dordogne for lunch, in between posting on the internet. It is very doable.

It sounds awesome.

Ive seen four posts by one user deleted in this thread. Why are they not banned?

You’ve had a few posts deleted yourself. Do you think that should apply to you?

Darker · 30/06/2026 09:02

As you also know, women are most at risk in their own homes, from their intimate partners or ex partners or close family members.

Are you going to exclude men from heterosexual relationships and family life?
