FYI: I've name changed for this to avoid a pile-on.

This post is about the overwhelming negativity and hostility with the FWR board that new posters and posters with a differing viewpoint face if they attempt to use the board.

There is a persistent group within the board that are, to put it simply, hateful towards others. Despite posting there on and off for more than 4 years, I have never felt welcome, despite not holding any particular extreme views or being abusive to others. Without exception, I am accused of being another poster, or a man, a TRA, or some kind of paid activist. This occurs again and again until I leave a thread in frustration.

I’ve seen this happen to many other new posters. Few return. Why would they? Such an acidic atmosphere doesn’t encourage healthy discussion. I’d just like to discuss women’s rights, but this board makes discussion impossible.

I’m not exactly sure what the answer is, except for @MNHQ to request the board to tone down the rhetoric a bit and back off on any new names they may see on the board. Let people engage with you rather than actively drive them away.

Statistically, males are more of a threat to women (and other men) than women are. Not all males of course. But as a sex class.

The only people that ever mention KJK are the ones that start threads disparaging her. Otherwise she'd barely get a mention.

This is the same FWR forum that hero worships Kelly Jay Keen / Posie Parker and has threads maxed out over 1000 posts for her right??

We've discussed this many, many times before (anyone wanting to wade through the tedium, have a wee advanced search). A quick Google of those first 4 countries name and 'issues with self id' brings up various articles (I think it's Denmark where 6 out of 10 disagree with randomly chosen sex markers on passports).

But tell you what, the following countries are in the top part of that league from the 2023 report -

New Zealand
Ireland
Malta

Given the issues associated with those countries (domestic abuse against women, self id affecting women in prisons and complete limits on women's reproductive rights respectively), can you explain why those countries are so high up that league?

I mean, how are these issues compatible to those countries being apparently brilliant to be a woman?

It was a "maxed out thread" due to a lot of bad faith posting and derailing. If you read it you'll notice that there are particular posters who hate follow KJK and somehow this is the fault of Mumsnetters.

No one can be arsed with posters who claim everything but can back up nothing, so
claim everyone else is combative (and hostile) to cover up that fact.
