I just love this woman! She undoubtedly has the Midas touch when it comes to marketing and publicity.

I have been to several of her events over the years, and she has time for each and every woman who comes to see her.

Any other fans here?

Yes, I like her. I don't agree with her on some things but that's what I like. She's one of the few people in this mess who is willing to talk to anyone as well as let anyone speak.
Proper open dialogue from all sides is necessary to find resolution and she offers that.
If we wait until everyone finally agrees on everything, we'll be waiting a long time.

Babdoc · 25/10/2022 18:48

Yes, me. I admire her strength and confidence- she gives no fucks, takes no prisoners, and is never intimidated by the TRAs. She is very plain speaking, has no truck with pronouns or “be kind” and her events give a voice to ordinary women all over the UK.
My DD called her phone in, and Kellie Jay actually remembered her from the Edinburgh rally (DD runs Gender Critical Autistics on FB) and was really welcoming.
She is running a successful business off the back of this, with gc and feminist merchandise, but I don’t begrudge her that. The products seem well made - DD and I have mugs and t shirts. The more sunlight and publicity she can generate, the better.

KJK is an absolute powerhouse and is (imo) the woman who has made the biggest contribution towards getting the discussion off of Mumsnet, out of the hired church halls, beyond the niche podcasts and into mainstream view.

(apart from JK, of course, but then JK only has to tweet to make headlines!)

Flapjack637 · 25/10/2022 18:53

Yes. She’s my shero 💚🤍💜

EndlessTea · 25/10/2022 19:02

I think it is amazing she has been so resilient and resourceful. I mean - I would absolutely freak out if the police turned up at my door because of my tweets or someone posted my house and kids’ school online, but she hasn’t buckled. She’s coped with being kicked off almost all online platforms, coped with having that nasty WP statement made about her and being deplatformed by them. She’s always found a way to make things work.
She’s also really creative too - the billboard idea, the adult human female branding (that everyone is copying), the Speakers Corner events.

She is brilliant.

Appalonia · 25/10/2022 19:13

She inspires me to be brave and to speak in clear, non compromising language. Her Adult Human Female poster and teeshirt have become iconic. In every interview I've seen her in she is articulate and wipes the floor with her opponent. She has created a space for women to speak both in the UK and has inspired our American sisters to do the same. And btw, she said Biden would be worse for women than Trump, and she was right!

XanaduKira · 25/10/2022 19:26

Agree with all of the above. She's great and has given me the tools to articulate my position in real life. She is amazing!

BlessedKali · 25/10/2022 19:30

KJK inspired me to speak out, to call a man a man, and not to stutter and trip over my words and say 'transwoman' because I felt I had to. She reminded me to be brave, and fierce and not be scared to speak the truth. She took her talk to Brighton, with death threats, and stood in public and spoke out. I am in awe of her courage. I'm sure we don't agree on some things, but of course we don't because we are two different humans. That doesn't take away from all the amazing work she has done and the profound effect she has had on not only the wider discourse around woman-erasure, but on my own freedom of speech.

Fucking love u KJK. X

lady69 · 25/10/2022 19:31

She is the warrior we needed.

GoldenPineapple88 · 25/10/2022 19:33

She's fantastic. She will not be intimidated or silenced - which is truly an admirable trait. She is the voice for so many women (and men) who are unable to voice these concerns in real life. I'm a massive fan.

Circumferences · 25/10/2022 19:36

Yes, I've been a long time admirer/fan of Posie Parker.
I've been around long enough to remember when she was banned from Mumsnet, and have seen enough threads on here about her usually descending into a total bitch fest.
Some people have a HUGE problem with her.
But she's desperately needed right now.

Redshoeblueshoe · 25/10/2022 19:37

I love KJK.

Musomama1 · 25/10/2022 19:47

Huge admiration for KJK. She makes things happen, speaks clearly and brilliantly - you just can't argue with her, gives confidence to and platforms ordinary women.

To me, she's an absolute doer, not just a talker and I take my hat off to her.

MangyInseam · 25/10/2022 20:13

I find her forthrightness really helpful too, if I am feeling chicken myself. But I especially appreciate that she doesn't shut out women who don't think or do or believe the "right" things.

AnyFucker · 25/10/2022 20:17

I love how she can say so much in so few words

Right to the heart of the matter, absolutely clear and steadfast in her message

Some fools have tried to take her down over the years but they don’t measure up to her articulate delivery

Fruitbatt · 25/10/2022 20:20

Amazing woman, talks common sense.

EndlessTea · 25/10/2022 20:22

Yes. She couldn’t care less about optics and that is so refreshing and freeing. So much of the feminist movement is all about “if we say/speak to/do/are seen with such and such - then opponents will make it look like we mean/intend such and such”. So bloody stifling. But she just gets on with it.

Soontobe60 · 25/10/2022 20:30

I can only concur with all the above comments!

aweegc · 25/10/2022 20:30

I agree she's an absolute powerhouse.

I vehemently disagree with her on some things. While there are some people I'd step back from because of that, she is so doggedly a single-issue activist on something that if gone, fundamentally undermines everything else, that I support her.

I find her refusal to wince in the face of TRAs inspirational.

There are many angles through which this needs to be fought. She's got a very important place amongst those at the forefront. Even if they disagree with each other or don't like each other!

Whatthechicken · 25/10/2022 20:39

Bloody love her. She’s shifted the narrative, she’s enabled us all to speak plainly and concisely. Nobody can mobilise women, boots on the ground, like she can.

As someone said above, we can’t wait for collective agreement on everything…the house is on fire.

Only a few years ago, KJK was accused of transphobia for refusing to use preferred pronouns by some prominent feminists - now the majority refuse, she has shifted the conversation.

FemaleAndLearning · 25/10/2022 20:51

I love that woman! She is plain speaking, gutsy, powerful and gets the job done. I find her so inspirational. She speaks so calmly and with absolute authority. She is a marketing genius. I've been to several of her Let Women Speak events and spoke to her at each one she is so honest and lovely. My daughters have met her too and Kelly Jay was so good with her, so kind and compassionate.

A580Hojas · 25/10/2022 21:01

I find it hard to reconcile her public persona with how she posted on Mumsnet a long time ago. I'm absolutely not in the business of outing or doxxing her but something doesn't add up for me.

There are aspects of her campaign, mainly some of her dubious affiliates, that I just don't like even though I class myself as GC as anybody.

inkjet · 25/10/2022 21:04

I’m a big fan too. She usually remains fairly classy when other women slag her off too, saying how much she respects them etc. I also appreciate her unequivocal no to men speaking for us. I thought the likes of DH being in the press a good thing initially but I no longer see him as an ally, partly down to KJK.

Sunflower987 · 25/10/2022 21:52

I think she opened my eyes to how much I wasn't critical thinking about anything.

I appreciate her for that.

I think you are on the wrong thread.
