Huge adverts making site unusable

I am being plagued by a Taylor Wimpey advert. It takes up the whole page and makes it impossible to scroll. Please get it removed or made smaller.

McCain spuds today for me 🙄

I get a Siemens ad that fills the page, and when you go to close it, it takes you to the Siemens site. The only way to get rid of it is to close Mumsnet and reopen.Both in Safari and Crome.

I'm still getting ads that are so large that I can't scroll past them, and end up accidentally clicking on them instead.

I'm also having this issue. Can't remember the brand but it's freezing the browser and filling the screen. Android phone, Chrome browser.

I think the replies from HQ are disingenuous - you need to ban full page ads entirely if you don't want a mass exodus from MN. The brand is irrelevant.

Same here. Between this and the swiping into other threads I'm quickly being cured of my MN habit

This is what I'm getting. Fills the entire screen of my android tablet (using Chrome). On every single thread - and on every bloody page!

And now I am getting adverts that actually obscure the posts! See attached.

What is going on?

Seems they're on a roll today; the scam virus notification and KitchenAid ones are back, with the newer ones being added to all the time

Finding this site increasingly impossible to use. Chrome on an iPhone this morning. There’s almost no actual screen left to read.

Also a bit bemused as to what the point is in requesting URLs, screenshots and the rest when they've all been provided many times before and it makes no difference?

I have still got the Boots one that takes up the entire screen and says Please rotate your device. It’s on every page including this one and makes the website unusable. It was here at the weekend, seemed to be fixed for probably less than 24hrs and came back yesterday.

Sorry if you've already said but can you confirm your device and browser?

Massive Bentley ones here. Crashing over couple of posts now. There's just no need for full page adverts that you can't even scroll.pasr.

Obtrusive and obnoxious adverts are the reason so many people stop 🛑 using sites- OR purchase adblockers.

Adverts should never be obnoxious or detracting.

Chrome, Android. Had to exit MN to get it to clear.

And full page moving adverts at that. I don't want to see a moving Bentley advert every page. I'm really not the target audience.
