Why aren’t you banning the far-right agitators?

Deleting their posts but allowing them to keep inciting racial hatred under the same accounts is making the site unusable. Why should we keep reporting them if you’re not going to do anything meaningful about it?

I think now we’re trying to find out who’s Jewish enough.

There is loads of encoded right wing anti semitism all over social media but this got mocked earlier. I think you just might not know it when you see it. Farage is anti semitic. MAGA Trumpists are very anti Semitic.

You can be Islamophobic and anti semitic all at the same time.

Michael Rosen, a (you'd say far) left wing Jewish man gets loads of abuse as does Miriam Margolyes.

And they both deserve it imo. I'm in a minority I'm sure but I cannot abide either of them.

Farage is outspoken in defense of British Jews and the antisemitism they're facing in London and the rest of Britain.

First time in my 44 years being UK born citizens my heart breaks that my mixed race sons and myself feel so self conscious for having a tone of brown skin colour. I feel so paranoid. We are 2nd and 3rd generation. My grandfather ( common wealth ) brought my dad here after he was given citizenship for fighting in the British Army.

Our own white strands of the family post constantly about rubber boats swarming in. My friends make jokes about mosques. We are not slightly religious in any form but it bothers me.

I'm also not a big fan of either for very trivial reasons of my own, but "being a bit annoying" is not good enough justification for the sort of abuse that high profile Jewish people get on Twitter.

Totally agree, op. I think MN really needs to become more professional in how it deals with posts overnight- the site is too big and too high profile to rely on volunteers who have no background or training in far right tropes.

Ah this is really unfair. OP has been pretty clear antisemitism is as bad from the far left as it is from the far right.

Please point me in the direction of Farage speaking in defense of British Jews. I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.

Hmmm I don't think that a criticism of Goldman Sachs or George Soros is compelling evidence of anti semitism otherwise anyone who criticises the big banks or financiers is guilty of anti semitism.

They are anti Semitic Jews. No one is antisemitic about them to my knowledge. Both are highly regarded in their professions although it beats me why, Margolies in particular.

I've yet to see a Far Left post on MN but, in the spirit of some posters on this thread perhaps you could offer examples of dangerous Far Left lexical choices or ideas, seen on MN.

This is a joke, right? MN has been swimming in a sewer of antisemitism and there's a huge number of left wing posters that love to tell us we're lying about antisemitism (unless it comes from the right and in that case they're so sorry to hear about that). And then there's the posters who love to turn up on Jewish Mumsnetters - a supposed safe space - to tell us exactly what they think of us. And their posting history reveals they are very vocally on the so-called anti-racist far left.

The examples of antisemitism you listed earlier used by the far right are exactly the same ones used by the left. They borrow each other's language. You're right that the far right is a dangerous threat across Europe, certainly to Muslim people. But, across Europe the most toxic and dangerous antisemitism is coming from the left, who are also increasingly aligning themselves with radical Islamist groups.

George Soros and his well known financial activities such as the man that broke the Bank of England or the Icelandic financial crisis or Brexit has always attracted conspiracy theorists.

That is simply not true. I totally acknowledge it comes from both places.

I have seen torrents of anti semitic vitriol launched at both.

I do love it when non Jews tell us Jews what is anti Semitism. whataclownshow. I wouldn't presume to tell a Muslim what is Islamophobia.
