Why aren’t you banning the far-right agitators?

Deleting their posts but allowing them to keep inciting racial hatred under the same accounts is making the site unusable. Why should we keep reporting them if you’re not going to do anything meaningful about it?

There were loads of dog whistles coming from the RW racists out in force last night. Not to mention the spreading of crazy, racist conspiracy theories and disinformation.

Disgusting people who lie, seek to cause more problems and exploit the victims of this atrocity for their own fucked up ends are scum.

Across Europe, at present, the Far Right are the bigger threat. They also seem to be omnipresent on social media.

If we were in South America we might face a range of different threats. But when we borrow ideas from the Ametican Right that socialism is extreme and ljberal ideas a threat, it becomes a bit laughable.

I've yet to see a Far Left post on MN but, in the spirit of some posters on this thread perhaps you could offer examples of dangerous Far Left lexical choices or ideas, seen on MN.

Do some googling, or even ask some Jewish people, about the recurrent use of North London as an insult.

And now this. The agitators got what they wanted. From the BBC:

Less than two hours after the Southport community met to mark a minute’s silence, just a few streets away from that vigil location the air was pierced by smoke canisters, jeers and rocks raining down on riot police.

Hundreds of protesters gathered near a local mosque attacking the front of it, throwing bricks, bottles and rocks, many with hoods up and scarves hiding their faces.

Families living nearby who had come to see what all the noise was all about feared for their safety as stones flew past and police officers rushed to put on riot gear and pick up shields.

Why why why would anyone want to make such an impossibly sad situation even worse for that community. Hasn’t everyone there suffered enough?

There shouldn't be any threads speculating about the horrific incident in Southport. The home secretary herself, the Merseyside police, and other local officials have all asked that there be no speculation on social media. It's unhelpful, disrespectful to the families, and stirs up those who will happily weaponise the situation to push their own agendas. And yet we see exactly that on this forum.

There's always been a sort of wilful naivety by MNHQ about racist agitators posting. It's a cesspit at the moment on any of the threads about Southport. A disgrace. I'm surprised MN aren't more concerned about their brand and what this makes them look like.

Jewish people are not a homogeneous mass with a single shared point of view. You know what they say, two Jewish people three opinions.

But why do you think you know better than them? This is a very very strange observation to make given the current climate. Y'know, the fact that Jewish people are afraid to even leave their homes because of left-wing antisemitism in London at present, to avoid areas where far-left marches are taking place... Jewish schoolchildren are being told to stay home and hide any visible signs of Judaism because of these left-wing activists who are terrorising them in their own city.

Far-right anti-semitism exists and it's evil.

However, on MN I have seen entire anti-semitic threads with strong left-wing bents. I've yet to see any right-wing anti-semitic comments public on this site (I'm sure they're there, but they must be fewer and deleted very quickly, because people are so much slower to spot and call out left-wing anti-semitism, and because it is far more widespread in the current climate).

The Far-Left are the most intolerant, narrow-minded, hateful group of hypocrites. Historically, the crimes of Left-wing dictatorships have at least equalled those of the right. The far-left are not less susceptible to racism. They are terrible perpetrators of it.
