Met rozzers - update needed please MN

Any news from the Met MN? If we’re all facing a spell in the choky thanks to Dawn Butler we need to know whether to pack the kids and pets off to relatives and take the sprouts off the boil, or if it’s safe to crack open the Christmas chocs and pour a large one.

That’s actually really interesting @sashh thanks for posting it, I’d never thought much about the process from court to prison.

All jokes aside it’s better to have an idea about these things and never need it than vice-versa

I still can remember what to do if stranded in car in the desert (from Nancy Drew ) despite living in the land of forty shades of green

Do we know yet which prison we’re all being sent to? Will we all be in the same one or will we be spread around the country? Will we get a choice do you think? Hope mine isn’t too far away so DH can come and visit.

If I could work remotely from the prison instead of having to use up annual leave that would be a big help.

Divide and conquer seems the order of the day for the powers that be. Imagine the trouble a group of problem solving women working together could cause.

Well, Boxing Day and still no arrest. Honestly the waiting is terrible, I don't know whether to eat all the Christmas chocs or not? If I have any left, can I take them with me?

I'd eat them all now, just in case they confiscate them when they do finally get around to arresting us all!

I am not even dressed, planned to hang around in bed all day working my way through leftovers and avoid putting the heating on

(yes I eat in bed so often in fact I have a dedicated large napkin on my bedside table I dare say that will be frowned upon in The Big House)

😂 I'd forgotten I posted the photo above yesterday, and was wondering which of my cats had a mumsnet account for a moment!

I have no intention of getting dressed today! If anyone knocks on the door they are getting me with my long Johns on! I suppose on my next trip upstairs I should put some pj bottoms on just in case today is the day they cart us all off to prison, but having not long got up I'm afraid if I go back upstairs the lure of the still faintly warm bed will be to much to resist!

And I don't eat in bed! Nope! Not at all! I do not keep a stash of paper napkins up there for eating in bed purposes either!! Nope not me! (I really must bring the empty cups and plates down at some point! Before it starts resembling a teenagers room!)

🤣neither of my cats would be on MN, the elder is more garden centres & libraries, the younger is definitely skatepark or front gates of City Hall.

🤔must work out how to find a ‘lady who does’ for them while I’m at His Majesties Pleasure - advertise in The Lady maybe?

You could leave all the detritus for one more day Boiled the polis might turn up and then it’ll be someone else’s problem 😉
