To be bored of the trans hate?

Ok, there are extremists (like the punch people in the face person), extremists can be found in many areas of life but is anyone else fed up of the trans stuff constantly being dragged up?

I've seen some ridiculous statements on here recently. Everything gets something added related to trans when it's totally irrelevant. It's getting boring. Trans extremists are not the norm so can we stop pretending they are?

I mean, apart from enjoying the train crash conspiracy theorists froth at the mouth, you're not wrong. It is an embarrassment though, because of transphobes it's not like I'd mention to anyone in RL that I use MN.

If you in anyway agree with any ‘concerns’ then you are transphobic. There’s no ifs or buts on that.

I'd say one side is much more hateful, and it's not women...

I understand some of the concerns. Unfortunately the way some (not all) people are going about things is quite extremist in itself and won't encourage anyone to listen to anything valid, it's just obliterated by the pure hatefulness.

I've yet to see anyone speaking actively from the other side of the debate be measured and non hateful. Have you?

Can we worry about the woman hate, lack of tolerance for neurodiversity and homophobia then? The fuel to the spike in trans stats lies there. We should be angry, women are now not sure if it is legal to use language to describe ourselves. Think about that!!!!!!!

But those trans extremists, some of whom have the ear of government (try living in Wales, where Mark Drakeford and his government are planning to bring in self-ID, like Scotland) have power. And they want women's rights. Rights that your mum and grandmother fought for.

If you're not worried, you either don't understand what this is really about — a male rights campaign in response to women's gains over the last 100 years — or you're not paying attention.

True when someone says they’d like to punch women in the face, or actually do it, we should all remember this.

I’ve reported my own post but totally agree OP.

I don't care if a man wants to dress as a woman or change his name, but that doesn't make him a woman so I would still refer to him as he. Does that make me someone who "hates trans" ? If it does then so be it.
