Mumsnet not working on safari on iPad?

I can open the site but can't click on any thread, on 'I'm watching' or, basically do anything.
Is it my problem or a site problem?

Find = fine

Chewbecca · 11/10/2018 21:53

Still problematic for me. Any update @MNHQ?

Actually it's begun happening to me again as well! So much for that theory!!

HotelRedFace · 12/10/2018 19:00

I'm getting this too! Thought something was wrong with my phone at first but apparently not.

MrMeSeeks · 12/10/2018 19:05

Ffs problems again!!what is going on?
Why are there so many issues?

MrMeSeeks · 12/10/2018 19:06

I can’t open any topics, only go on the ones i’ve already wrote on.

Chewbecca · 12/10/2018 20:05

Still not working for me

Likewise.

ChickenonaMug · 12/10/2018 23:02

I am still having problems as well. It has been more than a week now. Any sign of it being fixed? Thanks

vjg13 · 13/10/2018 07:27

Still having issues here too. Pages freezing and not able to move around threads. Also on Safarii.

TofuCat · 13/10/2018 09:01

It's happening on my iPhone now as well. I can look at a page or two but then it freezes.

BlueRabbitWasNaughty · 13/10/2018 10:40

Yep, I keep trying but mumsnet is unusable at the moment. Occasionally I can read a couple of pages of a thread and then it all seizes again - so frustrating.

SuperSuperSuper · 13/10/2018 10:51

Yes, I can only read a few posts before it freezes. It's been going on for several days. Shame, I love browsing MN but it's too frustrating ATM ...

Knicknackpaddyflak · 13/10/2018 11:02

Still no better. Laptop, fine. Ipad, unusable.

PanPanPanPing · 13/10/2018 14:44

Me too. I probably first noticed it about the time this thread was started, but I've been elsewhere during the day and just assumed their free wi-fi was rubbish.

But it's occurred to me over the last few days that it must be MN on my iPad, because it's been happening at home too - and my home wi-fi is fine for MNing from my laptop.

ineedaholidaynow · 13/10/2018 15:05

Happens on my iPhone.

Oddcat · 13/10/2018 21:24

Mines been fine on my iPhone since updating to iOS 12

Chewbecca · 13/10/2018 22:32

Still not working for me, having to use the app which I dislike so am MNing much less than usual

Install the puffin browser Chewbecca, no freezing issues on it.

Chewbecca · 14/10/2018 12:44

Thanks, though I am not really looking for fixes at my end. I have to be honest, I don't know what 'install the puffin browser' means.
Obvs I could go and find out but given every website except for MN still works fine on iPad safari it must be in MN's interest to sort it out rather than individual users having to change stuff.

NanTheWiser · 14/10/2018 13:16

I have the same freezing problem on Gransnet too - must be something common to both sites, very frustrating!

TatterdemalionAspie · 14/10/2018 13:29

Yup, same here - tried in Safari and in Chrome this morning and eventually gave up in frustration. Other websites fine on ipad, and MN fine on laptop.

PinkBuffalo · 14/10/2018 18:23

Chewbecca I only have the issue on MN too. No other webpage keeps freezing like this has been. It's been a few days now.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 14/10/2018 18:30

I spoke too soon, it's been a total pita this weekend.

Jackyjill6 · 15/10/2018 00:51

Come on MNHQ, what's the explanation? I'll get so used to not being able to MN that I'll forget all about you!
