Mumsnet not working on safari on iPad?

I can open the site but can't click on any thread, on 'I'm watching' or, basically do anything.
Is it my problem or a site problem?

If you're using an iPad, you could download another browser - I also use Puffin, which doesn't have the freezing issues, but it's still a pain not to be able to use Safari.

What iOS are you using? Mine updated to 12 recently and doesn’t seem to be having any problems at all

I'm having problems too. Not upgraded to iOS 12 - it's a work device and they've advised against the upgrade.

Mines still freezing , I'm on an iPhone- is it worth upgrading to iOS 12 ?

It keeps freezing for me to! I have to keep closing down. Been like it since yesterday I think. I thought it was just cos I got a mega old iPad, but I can't afford a new one so was just putting up with it!

Page kept freezing on iphone. Okay on Samsung tablet.

I haven't updated to ios12, no. But everything except MN is working fine so I don't think it has anything to do with our devices.

I have updated and absolutely everything is fine though. It wasn’t before.

We don't have any updates yet but hoping this is resolved soon. So sorry for all the faff this is causing.

I haven't updated my iPad to iOS12 and neither have I updated my phone but it works fine on that and it's only Mumsnet which I have a problem with on my iPad.

At one point today I must’ve tried to reload a page 25 or 30 times. No exaggeration.

Just to be clear, I’m not saying you should have to upgrade to 12 to get it to work, just that I had lots of issues with MN on my iPad before and none at all after. It might help narrow down where the problem is.

I'm not sure it's the OS. I'm not running the most up to date version by a long chalk and it's fine for me.

Mine was fine up to one of the last 11 updates.

As in iOS 11, not 11 updates

I think it’s always hard to pin these sort of errors down TBH, especially when it’s not everyone all of the time.

Ive been having issues with ads and pages reloading and typing taking ages to appear for a long time.

There was a thread on here about it I don't think it ever got resolved - in my case automatic playing ads cause a lot of problems with memory and using up mobile data.

I don't know if it's related this time or not though.

@mnhq - sorry bang on about this , but it's getting really annoying! Have you found the reason for this ?

My iPad has been like this since Friday. Slow to load then freezes. Phone is fine.

Mine has suddenly fixed itself!

Mine was fine last night and this morning for a few hours but has started freezing again :(

Mumsnet has stopped working on my Kindle Fire. Can't open any threads. It's still working on my phone, for now.

What was the problem MNHQ? I have only just managed to get on after a couple of days of just screen freeze whenever I tried on my iPad?

Mine is still freezing.
