Mumsnet not working on safari on iPad?

I can open the site but can't click on any thread, on 'I'm watching' or, basically do anything.
Is it my problem or a site problem?

I think it's fixed for me. It was ok last night and this morning.

Very tentatively, I think it's OK for me too at the moment. But I still have a problem with freezing on Gransnet, maybe tech can cure that one too?

Today it's been much better than it was with regards to freezing but still slower to load pages and slightly jumpy when changing pages, posts etc.

I couldn't use MN at all yesterday, but have managed so far today. It's quite fluctuating in temperament!

2i am struggling a lot with the error message and then the reload. This is the only site it's happening on for me.
It happened on everywhere I've opened this mornin losing all the replies I had typed out. It has been going on for a couple of weeks now

Really really awful today.

I have been silently screaming with frustration every time I have looked at MN.

For Instance:
I wanted to discuss the banned Iceland ad, but by the time I had watched the phantom typer mangling my text, tried to correct it, watched it mangling even further, and then THEN adding insult to injury by instead of deleting the whole thing and letting me start again, having my finger on the delete key apparently meant that I wanted to go to a whole different site.

Of course every other link I have tried to follow on MN today has taken up to half a dozen taps before there's been any sort of response (mainly the link acquires an underline but actuallydoes nothing more).

Funnily enough, this thread seems to be more or less OK. DON'T ASSUME THE PROBLEM'S RESOLVED!!!!!

It's better than this morning but still pretty awful. Especially trying to click on threads in Active. They. Just. Don't. Load.

Typng still very laggy too.

My iPad has gone wrong so I am not able to access Safari at all currently, not MN fault this time!

Yes better in that I have managed a few whole posts before being whizzed off on an exciting adventure to somewhere I didn't want to go. 😊

It did seem to be fixed for about a week, but again last night it was quite slow, lagging and freezing, although not as bad as before. I could still access the site and browse, but it was lumpy.

It's been better for the last few days, but has just frozen on me AGAIN!
I'm using the Puffin browser to type this post, it's a bit slower but at least it doesn't freeze.

I have just typed out a post on an different thread.

3 shortish paragraphs, no more than 4 lines per para in the post box, so probably only 2 lines when actually posted. It took 55minutes. 55 minutes. I had bothered because I was curious about how long it would take and because that he particular poster really needed as much support as she could get and I thought it was worth letting her know how much support there was for her.

Just as I was getting to the end, the page reloaded because a problem occurred, so the post was lost.

That's how bad it is.

Terrible again this morning.

Unusable still. This has been going on for weeks now!

Thanks for letting us know that this issue is now much less of an issue for some of you. For those of you still putting up with it - we're so sorry about this (and ).

If the site is still playing up for you, could you just confirm it's safari and ipad/iphone you are on and also the iOS version you are using - thank you (and more ).
