Mumsnet not working on safari on iPad?

I can open the site but can't click on any thread, on 'I'm watching' or, basically do anything.
Is it my problem or a site problem?

Mine is still doing it. I am lucky not to have had multiple posts because i have to refresh so many times.

Knicknackpaddyflak · 08/10/2018 10:49

Completely unusable on ipad this morning.

SoupDragon · 08/10/2018 12:10

Still fine here!

Twickerhun · 08/10/2018 14:47

I’m having loads of problems on my iPhone (safari) today. The website isn’t loading properly and I can’t get to threads I’m on. Only Mn not working

MirandaWest · 08/10/2018 14:49

I am also having problems with safari on my IPhone. Everything looks wrong

Bumbumtaloo · 08/10/2018 14:54

I’m having problems on my iPhone, it all looks weird. Not freezing but takes ages to load (I have done the iOS update).

Oddcat · 08/10/2018 17:09

Mine looks all weird now as well ! All sort of old fashioned , like this .

Is this problem still being worked on. I am still getting the freezing problem after I have read the first few posts. On an iPhone.

Becca19962014 · 09/10/2018 12:40

Still a problem for me.

salsamad · 09/10/2018 13:03

I am having the same problems.
I'm on my IPad on safari, screen keeps freezing, can't make posts as can't type (took 10 mins of leaving site/returning and restarting to get this post on), lots of blank space when trying to scroll through posts.
My problems seem to start late last week - am unsure if my IPad updating to IOS 12 wasn't the issue as this was about the same time but am having no other problems surfing the web or using any other sites.
Is there any update MNHQ?

bobkate · 09/10/2018 15:38

I thought I was going mad...mines is doing this as well. Highly annoying.

AnyaMumsnet · 09/10/2018 15:40

Hi all,

We're sorry this is still going on, we've just flagged this to tech again and hope to have a fix soon.

Knicknackpaddyflak · 09/10/2018 15:41

Thanks for the update Anya.

ChickenonaMug · 09/10/2018 16:53

Thank you

BSJohnson · 09/10/2018 21:19

I'm getting the freezing as I scroll down too. Also on safari on an iPad.

AristotlesTrousers · 10/10/2018 05:57

Still doing it lots here too - on most threads I read, often on the first page. Sometimes I don't even get as far as to click on a thread before the page freezes. Hope you find the problem soon.

Chewbecca · 10/10/2018 09:50

Yep, no better for me today. Can't click on 'active' or 'threads I'm on' & screen freezes.

SuperSuperSuper · 10/10/2018 13:50

Hi - I'm still having this problem.

MrMeSeeks · 10/10/2018 18:01

Not working properly, no up option, or watch thread option

Oddcat · 10/10/2018 19:38

I spent bloody hours last night updating my iPhone iOS and I haven’t had the freezing g thing happen since .

Becca19962014 · 11/10/2018 11:23

I've not had it since I had the banner about allowing cookies/research of ads/what I click on pop up this morning covering half my screen - it wasnt set to my screen size, needed me to scroll to the right and kept crashing the site.

I've sorted it now. However, there were things when I looked at the details it wouldn't let me refuse saying they were "essential". I wasn't aware this could be done? I thought it was possible to say no and continue to use a site, not be blocked from accessing it?

I'm aware this might not be relevant but if this is being pushed out to devices on an adhoc basis it might be causing problems.

PinkBuffalo · 11/10/2018 18:17

Even worse now. I can only scroll down twice before it freezes and I have to close the page.

Wincher · 11/10/2018 18:20

It’s been bad on Chrome on my iPad too, so not just Safari. I’m having to use the app instead which I don’t like on my iPad!

Becca19962014 · 11/10/2018 18:59

Mines still find since the GDPR thing popped up this morning, have others had that? Maybe it's that.
