Says she didn't troll hunt on the threads but reported. And has been banned for over reporting? Hardly her fault if there's lots of trolls to report?

Totally puts me off reporting any suspicions I have.

I've reported ageism before and was told to take it up on the thread instead. Inconsistent modding is really frustrating.

I can't believe they've banned Stratters! She is a lovely person, and it doesn't look as if she did anything wrong.

I think they genuinely don't care about individuals.

If someone answers back, argues something, calls them out on something they just ban them. They will soon be replaced by numerous newbies.

It's all about numbers, users and clicks for advertising revenue.

They just want compliant people clicking away, not giving mnhq work to do.

No consideration for the individual poster who has been here for years.

I've thought for some time now that the deletions have become bizarre. Things that should clearly be removed or deleted are left to stand and fairly innocuous postings removed instead.

What I find particularly galling is how often the deletion message or warning will say "not in the spirit of MN" because based on what has gotten through or been allowed to stand or other discussion closed down, I'm buggered if I know what know actually constitutes "the spirit of MN" these days. Particularly with the rewriting of history.

Which is why I've pointed out again and again that MN is a business and not some fluffy wuffy counselling charity or whatever. Nothing wrong with that in principle of course, but when things get controversial it's worth remembering exactly what you're dealing with

I agree about inconsistent modding. Sometimes it seems to depend on which MNHQer you get, as to what they'll do or whether they will agree with you. Some are much better than others.
