SLOW! It's so fucking slow now, I can't even get long threads to load any more

Let alone post on them.

It's beyond a joke now, vast swathes of MN are now totally inaccessible to me. Can we PLEASE sort this out?

I'm on safari on my my IPad and I'm having the same problem as Page and others have already posted but today seems worse then ever. Doesn't matter what I navigate to posts won't highlight, there's lots of white space usually below and also the text has changed to a different slightly larger font, froze but when I went back then it had changed back again.
Fewer posts per page is not improving anything.
It's not my internet or wireless connectivity as I am connecting successfully and using Facebook, shopping websites etc.

Mine is and has always been set to 25 posts.

The mobile site is completely unusable it just doesn't register when you have clicked on something. Also twice today when I tried the mobile site it completely crashed and I had to do a reset on my phone.

iPad using safari here.
Won't load at all and times out.
Half threads and half Active convos List, can't click and load any of the threads.
25 posts to a page.
All other sites running fine on mobile data, home broadband and work broadband.

I have had problems today too - iPad/safari - page not loading fully, and freezing up completely.

I'm having issues too. iPhone 5, using safari.

Everytime I open a thread it freezes.

All other sites are fine.

It's driving me mad - iPad on safari, no problems on other sites. I had to speak to my family at one point! Shock

Me too. iPad and safari. It's been doing it for a few days and seemed better this morning but as bad as ever now.

It's doing the same for me on iphone7 with safari.

I find when it starts to hang I have to completely shut the window down, open another window and start again. It will then load and I can go through some threads before it hangs again so I shut down again.

It's not specific to Safari, although it does seem to be an iOS issue judging by the responses here mainly being from iPad/iPhone users. I downloaded the Chrome web browser to my iPad and on my first try at accessing MN through that, ended up with this blank space at the top of the screen, frozen tab etc:

(Took me about 30 mins to be able to post this btw - it's been really bad just now)

I can't seem to get on any threads tonight as it's sooooo slow. It's taken me at least half an hour to actually get here.

I can get on active threads, but when I click on the thread, it only loads on my screen, if I scroll down it is all blank.

Don't get on threads I'm on.

Using an iPad, safari, latest updated iOS

I'm completely locked out of the site on safari in my iPad right now. Won't load at all. Not main page or talk page or active convos.

iPad latest iOS here and same problems - blank screens, server time outs, posts only half loading.

Seems to have been intermittent over the last couple of weeks. Other websites working fine.

Thank god, thought it was just me. iPhone 6s, safari, mobile site not app. Probably had the issue around a week or two.

The site has been virtually unusable tonight. I'm getting 1 minute of usability then 20 minutes of white space/frozen screen. Lather, rinse, repeat for the last 2 hours.

Huh, I thought it was the 'Trump Virus' (or a Trump Conspiracy ) as I'm on that thread constantly!

Pages not loading or refreshing (blank), only half loading, or going partially there when scrolling up or down.

Seriously, I thought it was the fact that my Macbook is almost 10 years old! Apparently not!

Desktop site, old Macbook, using Safari OS 10.0.1

Mine has been awful on Ipad using the mobile site. It will not load more than a few lines.

On the desktop site on Chrome, it is absolutely fine.

Same here iPhone safari keeps freezing, half loading have to keep turning phone on off. So annoying
