SLOW! It's so fucking slow now, I can't even get long threads to load any more

Let alone post on them.

It's beyond a joke now, vast swathes of MN are now totally inaccessible to me. Can we PLEASE sort this out?

I've just tried on Safari, and it seems to be OK! Hope it's not a temporary fix. Have been using the Puffin browser since last week, which works fine, as cannot install ad blocker on this iPad.

Angie : I have been using DH's I Pad ( Safari, no ad blocker ) for the last 10 mins or so and all seemed back to normal, so thought I would log in and post a message on this thread to say thank you, and fingers crossed all ok :
BUT as soon as I signed in, I was redirected to the MN Talk app which I had downloaded when site became problematic on Friday.
I can click on 'back to Safari' and it takes me back to the mobile site, but as soon as I click on a thread, any thread, to open it the Talk App kicks in instead.
Would this have been the case anyway, or does this relate in any way to the issues ?
Appreciate you updating us, am sure there is lots of work going on behind the scenes that we aren't aware of , but it is good that you are on here as the "face" of MNHQ ! Smile

I'm on my iPad with nothing downloaded or installed (that I don't understand).

Fingers crossed that you stay for more than 10 minutes as I'm off work today.

Is anyone else finding the site is fucking up their phone?

My phone is saying I've got signal but occasionally it drops out and I have to turn it off and on again

Or is anyone on the 3 network having trouble today?

It's driving me mad!!

Diana I'm on 3. For the last week or so I've had problems with using this site on Safari - completely freezes mid-loading a thread and then I have to x safari off in the background and then go back into safari just to use it. When I switch my phone off and on, it works properly for a bit and then it happena again! I genuinely think it's this site - although much better today

I think I might be having signal problems too though as it temporarily cuts out, no internet, but it still says I have 3G in the corner of my phone.

This is the first time I've managed to access mumsnet for days! I couldn't even see the updates cos it wouldn't load for me. Trying to post this quick in case I lose it again!

Its not just an ipad issue though. I only access through my pc Iam running Firefox.. just got bad gateway (again.. ). though its not doing it quite as much as previously

I'm on 3 and have tried for 27, yep 27 mins to upload a comment on a chat thread. I left it spinning the circle of doom whilst I went for a bath and nada, nothing, just endless spinning.

Happy to see mn today. It's been unusable on my iPad for about a week. Today finally it is working again. I was on the verge of leaving for good after days of freezing my browser.

I couldn't even load the site earlier this evening but since probably 7.30ish I've been able to dip in and out of threads without problems.... is it fixed or fluke I wonder!

Ankle my phone has well and truely fucked me now. Tried to update iOS in the hope thatswhy my internet is slow... it failed so it's now stuck on the screen with the cable and iTunes sign and I can't turn it back on. I don't have a computer to plug it into and in scared I'm going to lose all my photos 🙁 Using dh's phone now. I'm gutted.

Hmm ... it's better than before (can at least get it to load) but still very very slow on IPad.
