SLOW! It's so fucking slow now, I can't even get long threads to load any more

It's beyond a joke now, vast swathes of MN are now totally inaccessible to me. Can we PLEASE sort this out?

I've had to close and reload this window five times just to post that I'm having trouble. I was looking forward to whiling away the next hour or two on MN but this is not worth the trouble. (I'll give it one or two more tries bc I live in hope but then I will have to give up and read an actual gulp book!)

Please just fix it :( it's virtually unusable for me unless I'm on a laptop. I'm using an iPhone with the latest iOS.
I have to say, remarkable how the thread about 'would you pay for an ad free mumsnet' loaded absolutely brilliantly with no problems, though.

I ended up having to put the ad blocker on. So far so good

Hideous again today, if it carries on I guess I'll get loads more done!

It comes and goes. Driving me insane!!!!

Totally abysmal. I can only use MN on laptop, with the ipad it just doesn't work any longer. I give up. The ad blocker did absolutely nothing.

We understand how frustrating this is, I have experienced this on my iphone too and it isn't great.
I have made a change, I can only do one at a time so I can eliminate but please let me know if you see any improvements.
If you had installed adblocker to get around this issue would you mind disabling it to see if the issue still persists? Your choice of course.
We are just trying to eliminate and I want to a) make sure it is ads and not something else causing the issue b) If it is ads then I need to find the partner in question.

I've had it a couple of times tonight in Aibu and here is site stuff but couldn't give you much more of a clue than that unfortunately. I'm really unsure as to whether it's happening less or whether I'm getting used to it! I tend to reload a tab only if I get stuck into a thread but bin it off if it starts playing silly beggars.

I'm sorry to say it's been worse for me - thirty minutes to post this. I'm having difficulty with the actual MN ads being very big and running across almost half my screen, I've had scripting errors showing as well. Like others have mentioned I've had errors for Twitter and YouTube showing occaisonally as well - I've tried and failed to switch off social media showing (I know it's an option).

I've given up on the iPad now. Mn has become unusable on it.
I'm just using the app which isn't as good.
Basically all these problems are weaning me off mumsnet,.

Still broken this morning, took 3 new tabs to get into this thread!

Worst it's been. I've had to close down and reopen the site a dozen times. No ad blocker (app won't download). All other websites are fine.

Same for me. Shutting all my browser windows and apps clears it though. Iphone 6, safari, mobile version, no ad blockers.

Angie, it's worse than ever this morning.

Yeah it's nearly unusable for me on mobile now (and that's the only way I access).

I turned my blocker off around 7.35 this morning, and for a while it was better. Not as fast as with the blocker, but much better than before I installed it a few days ago.

I was just about to post that it was better when it all went pear-shaped again - page only half loading, couldn't click on links etc. Had to come out of Safari and close the app to get back on. Ok again for a while and then the same thing happened again. I've put the blocker back now for the moment, will try again without it after work.

I did notice that most of the time that it was OK without the blocker, there was no ad at the top of the page, only the one on the right hand side.

Mine's fine now, just loaded a 900 post thread easily but this is the only browser window I've got open. It's very random.

Still happening. Can't go on mn on ipad. Won't do much at all. Freezes constantly so have to come out and open a new browser.

People may end up leaving if this carries on.

I can't use MN on either my own or DH's ipads. Very sl;o9w to get it to open then you can either view part of the first thread you want to look at ( no more than 3 posts) but it is then frozen. I then have to delete history to get ti to go to any other site I want to look at.

Just been out, it won't load at all on 3G.

It is becoming tedious on my iPhone.

Took adblocker off and the old problems of freezing and not loading happened again.
Adblocker back on now
