After the SN-not-in-Active-Convos but only in own link thing...

I never see any, because old habits die hard, and I keep clicking 'Active Conversations - All Topics'.

And I think that's a real shame.

Is that just me being dense and lazy ? It's obviously not hard to click the other thing...

I just wish it was integrated into the normal 'view' you get. I don't want to not be able to see it.

Am I alone ?

QoQ I'm sorry I think you need to step back, calm down and come back later because from what I can see you are misinterpreting on purpose and posting slightly inappropriately

can I applaud QoQ for her diplomacy there...

But yet again this is just going round in circles isn't it. We're going over the same ground as the last threads on this subject. The same issues are being raised, segration, people being educated from SN etc and now people are telling others to F**k off.

I think Fio's suggestion of letting MNHQ go through the stats is a good one. What exactly is this thread achieving at the moment apart from raised blood pressure from some posters ?

This is an issue I think that will only ever go round in circles, everytime its resurrected the same points will be made, people will get upset and say things in the heat of the moment, then get more upset when people turn on them.

NIght night topic, sleep well for now.

What a strange way to hold a civil discussion.

Anyway, as I said in the OP, "It's obviously not hard to click the other thing", so I don't think it's about the moving one's hand a few inches IYSWIM, more about checking if the arrangements work for everyone. I think it's clear it does work for some NT and some SN parents but also there are others (both NT and SN parents) who feel it doesn't. I also expect that because the discussion seems to flare up , there are posters on both 'sides' who don't feel comfortable venturing their opinion. JJ's suggestion re: polling would probably be the best way to guage if current arrangements are the optimal solution.

I was a bit shocked at the suggestion that anyone who isn't the parent oF SN child is some kind of voyeur for wanting to read the threads on the SN board - I think I'll take that away and think about it.

I really don't see that the sn part of the site has changed.

The only real change is that you are more likley to realise that a particular thread is about children with SN. And then post using that knowledge.
