oh mp, sorry but i can't help but lol each time i see the comment now

i wish they'd put up a quote referring to 'unpleasant hygiene' instead

morningpaper · 08/08/2006 12:52

lol

At least he read it in a joky way

He obviously recognises satire

It's so BIZARRE

Kelly1978 · 08/08/2006 12:52

@ mp. It makes me giggle too. I don't think they will be interested in the fact that it was a joke, it jsut makes for good news

Tutter · 08/08/2006 12:52

maybe justine should use a different analogy so she can't be challenged in the same way again - maybe compare it to a radio phone-in - you wouldn't shut down radio 2 because a listener rang i and made a racist comment...?

MrsRichardHammond · 08/08/2006 12:55

Would agree with that Tutter. Keep up the good work though Justine!

Kiskidee · 08/08/2006 12:55

i cackle everytime i see/hear the comment repeated.

aitch71 · 08/08/2006 12:56

EXCELLENT analogy, tutter. maybe email it to the towers?

Kiskidee · 08/08/2006 12:56

aitch71 · 08/08/2006 12:57

MrsBadger · 08/08/2006 13:31

here

Pisces · 08/08/2006 13:41

Link on the ITV website now ITV

Earlybird · 08/08/2006 13:59

Has there still been no statement from her or her lawyers? Seems they should respond publicly at some point as the overwhelming media angle seems to be that they're being unreasonable. IMO, it never looks good when stories say someone is "unavailable for comment". They've been so agressive to date that I can't imagine they'll continue to be silent.

LieselVonTrapp · 08/08/2006 14:44

Maybe we will get a whole new breed of MNers after today.
By the way Tamba I like your new name.

hunkermunker · 08/08/2006 15:28

I would link, but think links may be searchable on google - go to bbc news and search for forename and surname to see video clip...

edam · 08/08/2006 15:35

Hey, might be an idea to email MN's ISP, DSC, to say thanks for standing up to nobody. I've just done it (used [email protected], taken from the link at the very bottom of the page).

ToodlePip123 · 08/08/2006 15:36

update here

edam · 08/08/2006 15:36

Oh, and PMSL at MrsRichardHammond ducking at low-flying babies!

Is anyone tempted to join another site, one that charges, just to see what they've got to say about, er, various things?
