There's another good article by Yvonne Roberts in today's Indie but you have to pay to read it online, unfortunately.

Sorry oranges but I have reported that post to MNHQ.

Simply because it goes against their basic request not to mention ..

Jimjams2 · 10/08/2006 19:16

Jimjams2 · 10/08/2006 19:22

ah she mispelled it in her last message!

SaintGeorge · 10/08/2006 19:22

Def still there.

SaintGeorge · 10/08/2006 19:23

Ah, sorry, thought you were clicking on the link. I spotted the typo in the original post.

WideWebWitch · 10/08/2006 19:34

Who's Cece then? Because she's very eloquently arguing against Warwicklad (bet he's 40 if he's a day ) there.

EmilyTurner · 10/08/2006 20:38

Sorry about that. Was trying to prevent WW3 between toddler and pudding and the carpet.

Just found out one of the posters on the Guardian comments section was in fact, my own dh _ i never asked him too, he just felt strongly enough to act! {proud beam}

And no, he isn't Warwicklad!!!

GaribaldiCusack · 11/08/2006 12:55

yes I'd like to know who Cece is because I left her to it against Warwicklad - she was doing much better than I was!

GaribaldiCusack · 11/08/2006 13:00

the last comment on there at the moment is fascinating

KathyMCMLXXII · 11/08/2006 13:03

Yes, jesk's 1.25 comment explains a lot, doesn't it?
Doesn't Cece Mumsnet under the same name? Sure I remember someone with that name.
Fantastic posts, anyway.

WideWebWitch · 11/08/2006 14:27

Oh fmf, is he the one who said "I am married to a mumsnetter, who is incandescent with rage"? - I thought how nice when I read it!

WatTylermoonfiend · 11/08/2006 17:48

I couldn't possibly comment

SecurMummy · 11/08/2006 17:55

I didn't quite understand Warwicklad - maybe I am missing something?

He said that No-one who has sold 8? books runs a website charging £40 on entry etc etc is probably not well off as authors don't get that much money from books etc. However, clearly the MN team are loaded as they have sold 2 books and have a website with click throughs.

Is it just me or does the maths there sound off? I am sure if a person with 8 books is poor then people (ie sharing!) with 2 books are not going to be loaded?

Or is it just me?

Freckle · 11/08/2006 18:19

I'm interested by the fact that Justine says they are now faced with a possible action over the publishing of the letter to the ISP.

Does it strike anyone else that this seems to be a vendetta against Mumsnet in that it has moved on from a libel action brought by nobody to a possible action by her solicitors on a completely separate issue? Sort of "we will get them by fair means or foul, but we will get them"?

edam · 11/08/2006 18:44

Bang on, Freckle. Copyright FFS, they are 'aving a laff.
