Why are some members of this site allowed to get away with persistently being vile, pushing an agenda, defending the indefensible, upsetting other members, twisting versions of events and generally being nasty, and they do not get banned?

Not about any one particular poster, but I have noticed that some stronger "personalities" on here seem to be Teflon coated.

Why is this?

Why do the owners of this site want that kind of vile poster and do not seem to care about the number of truly decent kind posters who are being upset and driven off the site?

I would hate MN to be more moderated. Personally I think MNetters do a good job at self moderating.

Hullygully · 04/07/2012 20:10

Mind you, I love the idea of advertisers reading MN.

Oh yeah, like that happens.

"I think we need to check our demographic carelfully. You take prams and I'll take Fri Night Bumsex."

Who remembers little Grey-Grey?

hathorisaskingaquestion · 04/07/2012 20:11

Oh come on, It was a spiteful weekend and people are a little raw all round. Don't take on.

LeB0F · 04/07/2012 20:13

If we start tightening stuff to keep the advertisers happy, the whole place really will go to shit though. Urgh. Fuck the System.

Oh come on Hath, buck up chuck. Nobody is shouting at you, honestly.

hathorisaskingaquestion · 04/07/2012 20:14

D'you know what MmeL.

I have a right to bring up what I like on here.

I wasn't and am not just talking about the events of this past weekend.

I am talking about an attitude and a tone and a perceived teflon coating of some posters.

And if I want to bring it up then I will and your PA shite of "I don't think it's a good time" you can take to the school yard.

I generally like you and had respect for you, but you are not the posting prefect.

I knew I knew you you cah.

Lougle · 04/07/2012 20:14

You're feeling attacked? By who? On this thread, or on another?

My impression (and bearing in mind I don't know you, who you 'were' or who you 'are') is that you have been very forthright with MNHQ, and openly critical. I haven't seen any criticism of you on this thread....have I missed something?

don't let the love all fall apart already.

Hullygully · 04/07/2012 20:15

I work for MNHQ

It's exhausting. I mind the boys wot hide in the toilet.

Pinot · 04/07/2012 20:17

No-one has had a go at you Hath.

Navel gazing is always a risky move.

usualsuspect · 04/07/2012 20:17

I wish people wouldn't keep referring to the vile posters .

It makes me all paranoid.

LeB0F · 04/07/2012 20:18

It is when you've got a sore neck, Pinot. I think I slept on it funny.

Hullygully · 04/07/2012 20:18

Itssssssssssssssss alwayssssssssssssssssssssss thusssssssssssssssssssssss

hathorisaskingaquestion · 04/07/2012 20:18

So I can only ask questions if they're approved? Or I'll get passive aggressive ticking off from the prefects?

So not going to happen.

OP posts:
MmeLindor. · 04/07/2012 20:20

Um. Hath. I'm sorry if I upset you, but a lot of very good friends of mine had a bloody hard weekend because of the whole FWR debacle and I really thought that it was done and dusted.

Rehashing it all only brings further hurt

If you were only concerned about your own situation, then why reference it at all?

I'm not PA. if I decide to be aggressive then by God, you'll all know about it. I say what I mean and generally try to be reasonable and kind but I might not be if you take that tone with me.

OwlsOnStrings · 04/07/2012 20:20

Blimey. I have no idea what anyone is talking about, whether it's the hounding off, the events of last weekend or any of the rest of it. I wouldn't mind, except that I've been on here nearly every day for the past seven years. I must be a complete arsehole.

usualsuspect · 04/07/2012 20:21

I'm not a prefect , you are more likely to find me having a fag behind the bike sheds

Pinot · 04/07/2012 20:21

Did you have a draft, darling Boffers?

DH once woke me up by facing me and his curry breath was so vile it roused me awake.

True story.
