Who gives a crap

Has anyone bought Who gives a Crap toilet rolls?
I wondered if they are worth it.
The Facebook page has great reviews, Ocado quite the opposite!
Let me know your thoughts please :-)

Yep. I like them. One fewer thing to exclude from my supermarket shop. The rolls last ages compared to our usual supermarket rolls. I like the patterns on the paper and how they look in my bathroom. We have a massive cupboard in the bathroom where the box lives. It's good quality.

TragicMuse · 20/05/2026 13:23

I just like not having to carry the packets home from the supermarket! And I don’t have to worry about running out. All about the convenience for me and I like that.

Hicupping · 20/05/2026 13:32

I bought some, caused irritation, thin, fell apart etc. Gave to my Dad, a month or so later complained about the toilet roll I gave him. Just awful, even when toilet roll is expensive I couldn't use it. It was so bad I left a review on Amazon.

Sugarplumfairycakes1 · 20/05/2026 13:35

WGAC was the worse toilet paper I had ever used. Thin, the perforated lines don't match up and rips easily. Found myself using more rather than less! The reviews really didn't match up to the reality. I would bever buy again. They are also over-priced. When I cancelled the subscription, I was offered a 20% discount on the next box and then when I said no, a 30% discount. Still wouldn't buy them.

traitorstraitors · 20/05/2026 13:36

Nope.

Marketed as eco but anything but.

Shipped from China.

Greenwashing, pure and simple. Don’t fall for it.

NovaF · 20/05/2026 13:54

I use the bamboo ones from wgac and rate them, also like that 50% goes to charity

I’ve always Pooh pooed them and bought the Sainsbury’s linked above. But I got reeled in on social media and saw an ad where they blame the bathroom dust on cheap loo roll. Anyone know if this is true?!

We have bathroom dust in a bathroom that doesn’t have a toilet!

The dust in the separate toilet is the same.

Ultraalox · 20/05/2026 14:12

Has anyone found a decent Uk made mail order brand?

WorriedMillie · 20/05/2026 14:37

Another Nicky fan. This is a fab offer if you have the storage space!

Northermcharn · 20/05/2026 15:11

We get them love the colours and patterns. Make a dreary product and the bathroom slightly more interesting (its all relative). Also get the tissue boxes, so they're dotted around the house.

poppymango · 20/05/2026 16:52

I know this is kind of ridiculous, but is anyone else just put off by the product name?! I have bought something similar from a different brand.

EverythingElseIsTaken · 20/05/2026 17:42

I’m very happy with them.

NoodleHorses · 20/05/2026 18:31

Absolutely worth it.Longer rolls, they arrive in a big box of 48. They have smaller cardboard inners too. I live solo but a roll lasts up to 10 days, I also will use it for nose blowing, make up removal at a push, as well as the designated role of the roll.
I like it. Unlikely to go back to buying other brands from the supermarket as this is more cost effective.

Nearly50omg · 20/05/2026 18:35

The best toilet rolls are the ones you pay £20 - delivered too!! - for 110 toilet rolls 3 ply - the Panda ones off TikTok shop. I have an allergy to paper/wood etc and the toilet rolls that shed - Andrew, who gives a crap etc - irritate my skin badly! The Panda ones off tiktok shop there’s no shedding at all! Fab condition and the price is unbeatable!

myusernamewastakenbyme · 20/05/2026 19:35

I pay 69p for a pack of 4 loo rolls from Farmfoods...no way am i paying stupid money for something im going to flush down the toilet.

teresamendoza · 20/05/2026 19:47

Hubby bought a box but we weren't impressed tbh.
However, the wrapping paper each roll comes wrapped in inspired me to get crafty and made this to hang in the downstairs loo 😂

Yes and the fact they show the adverts any time of day. We then had the issue of stopping autistic DS6 saying ‘who gives a crap’ over and over.

Oh no!! It's such an everyday product, and the brand name seems to be all over the packaging - I wouldn't want my children using language like that but you can hardly tell them not to if you buy it, can you? So glad it's not just me!

Anonemousse · 20/05/2026 20:47

Same amount of bathroom dust.
The name annoys me.
I like the toilet roll. It does seem to last longer than others.

If the lines dont match up, seperate the ply of a couple of squares and wrap one of them around the roll.
So that the top layer becomes the bottom layer if you see what I mean? It will almost always make the lines match up for the rest of the roll.

nannyl · 20/05/2026 21:17

I started using them in 2019 before covid.

They are brilliant and I highly recommend.

I always buy the recycled and no complaints.

I have had one box of bamboo, which was absolutely fine, but IMO not worth the extra £, so recycled it is.
1 box lasts my family of 4 at least 6 months

Temporaryname158 · 20/05/2026 21:35

I’ve not found it to be great. Harder to flush and thin. I won’t be buying again

awfulapril · 20/05/2026 21:55

I cannot imagine having an opinion on bog roll

selffellatingouroborosofhate · 20/05/2026 22:01

I like bamboo loo roll. If you have a sensitive vulva, it's much smoother than normal loo roll. Other vendors of bamboo loo roll exist, such as Bumboo and bambootoiletpaper.co.uk
