Has anyone bought Who gives a Crap toilet rolls?
I wondered if they are worth it.
The Facebook page has great reviews, Ocado quite the opposite!
Let me know your thoughts please :-)

I really like it. And it does last a long time.

Our water company called and asked us to to use them because they are a contributor to blockages in the sewers

If they cause blockages why would the water company ask you to use them?

We didn’t find them useful at all. They are supposed to last 6 months and I think they lasted me and my husband 10 weeks. I don’t know if we just use a lot of toilet roll (we do both wfh a lot) but it made them not value for money at all! They do look pretty in your bathroom though.

We also tried bumboo and had the same experience.

Now we just bulk order regular loo roll from Amazon and keep it in the garage.

That’s a long reach for the toilet paper!

Haven’t read whole thread so someone might’ve said this. But I randomly googled the geese proof paper/tracing paper loo roll the other day, as I remembered it from school and public toilets in the 90s. Turns out it was “medicated” toilet paper, the medication was actually a disinfectant. It was useless at absorbing anything but I guess at least the paper cuts on your bits wouldn’t get infected! But I doubt it was good for vulvas to be dabbing them with disinfectant

Edited

Why did anyone think non adsorbent slippery paper was a good idea?

A box of 48 last the 3 of us (plus visitors) over 6 months. You must be using loads

biteysaurus · 29/07/2026 14:51

I was disappointed by the quality. Unfortunately I’d bought a massive box, and it took ages to use them all. Won’t be buying again.

Lazingsundayafternoon · 29/07/2026 15:52

I've cancelled my order in future. I have used them for a while but think the quality has declined.
