Would it be considered Sad if I purchased one of those old woman shopping trolleys?

In Barcelona you see young people wheeling their little oldwoman shopping trolley things around all over the place, but would I get funny looks if I bought one to use here?

It would be so handy for shopping at the market

My mum said she thinks it's great, but "you'll never pull with it"

Take that as a challenge MW - see if you can manage to pull with it

MissusWoman · 22/10/2004 18:15

well it certainly proved to be an ice breaker down at the market, I had several chirpy exchanges with stall holders about my trolley. Don't think dp would be impressed if I started trying to pull with it though

Orla Kiely makes quite a groovy one. If an old lady shopping trolleybag can ever be described as groovy

MissusWoman · 22/10/2004 18:53

I am going to upload a photo of me with my trolley
