Would it be considered Sad if I purchased one of those old woman shopping trolleys?

In Barcelona you see young people wheeling their little oldwoman shopping trolley things around all over the place, but would I get funny looks if I bought one to use here?

It would be so handy for shopping at the market

DelGirl · 21/10/2004 18:36

thats it, a rickshaw. I've seen them in convent garden. Just go and chat one up of a saturday morning and tell him to drop you off at waitrose

MissusWoman · 21/10/2004 18:36

If I had the necessary skills to make them in trendy fabrics I bet they'd sell like hot cakes

DelGirl · 21/10/2004 18:39

Well, there you go. Cheaper than a minicab and you could pay him in beansprouts

iota · 21/10/2004 18:39

I think my mum , who is in her seventies, got one from Argos.

DelGirl · 21/10/2004 18:39

Sport/surf shops. Don't suppose there are many in your neck of the woods though

MissusWoman · 21/10/2004 18:41

snmum, you can actually buy special trolley bags for sewing machines here

trouble is they are hideous

OP posts:
DelGirl · 21/10/2004 18:41

Just forget the trolley and get dp/dd/ds to carry everything instead
