Micropenis

Had a (interesting?) conversation with my friend this morning. She's been talking to a guy for a few months on whatsapp and seemed really into him. She's met him a few times, been out for drinks thinks he could be the "one".
Apparently last night he confessed that he only has 2 and a half inches down below. She said she tried to be understanding and re assure him but she's woken up this morning suddenly feeling very different and doesn't want to continue seeing him. I understand you can't help how you feel and sex is very important to her.
It just got me wondering if it would put me off, or if it's quite a common thing?
Would it put you off? Have you ever had sex with some one with a small penis and was it really different?
I'm really curious about this Grin

Micropenis is the medical term Ilost. My friend's 3 year old son was born with the condition.

I feel bad for him. He must have had some bad experiences with women to have to tell her in advance. He probably would prefer the rejection now rather than later. I think it was brave of him to tell her. Obviously he was hoping for another response but at least he doesn't have to be intimate with her and then be rejected.

I do think you can have a great sex life without a big one as I can't really orgasm through penetration alone anyway no matter how big!!! However, it is up to her really.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 04/07/2016 13:47

Sorry, I didn't realise micro penis was a medical term.. I'll get my coat on the way out Blush

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 04/07/2016 13:48

My ex was quite gifted in the penis department. He just had no idea how to use it. Size isnt everything.

Bottomchops · 04/07/2016 13:51

But we're not talking about having a smaller than average Penis, we're talking about a medical condition where it's pretty difficult to have piv sex. If you enjoy hav8ng that and you've only just met a bloke then he's not for you. Nobody is being horrible to his face. He obviously knows it's an issue for some women. Nobody is slagging him off. It's a decision she has to make.

aprilanne · 04/07/2016 13:54

oh what a shame if he was ideal in every other way then no that would not put me off .but then i have not had sex in 3 years because of hubbys illness so maybe i have just stopped caring about sex

Misnomer · 04/07/2016 13:54

There are lots and lots of ways in which people can be sexually incompatible (speaks from bitter experience!). Whilst anatomy isn't everything, it's not nothing either. People are different sizes and it's not really anything to do with having a bucket for a fanny - vaginas are different lengths, not just different widths (though seeing as it's muscle, width is flexible). I totally get that there are other ways to get off but it's not fair to judge someone who likes that particular way.

theredjellybean · 04/07/2016 13:55

very difficult to advise
my exh had micropeni and he just wasn't into sex at all...so my experience is this would put me off. However he might be small in the dept but be a fantastic lover generally...i would advise her to go with it and see what happens, falling in love/fancying someone and having a satisfying sex life is much more than a penis size....poor chap and how brave of him to tell her.
Maybe he tries harder in other ways ...could be beneficial !!!!

NeedACleverNN · 04/07/2016 13:56

Like they say PIV isn't everything

There is plenty you can do without penetration. And just because you have the tool, doesn't mean you know how to use it.

He could be small but mighty? I would probably give him a go to see how well were compatible wise in bed first before making a decision

apintofharpandapacketofdates · 04/07/2016 13:56

My exDH has a tiny penis and I think it caused him major issues. He didn't rally arse himself trying to please me and was totally and utterly unimaginative.

I'd say his worries about his penis had eff-all to do with him being a crap lover though.

Having said that, it's kinda put me off micro-penises, fair or not.

Time will tell I suppose.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 04/07/2016 13:56

Maybe he tries harder in other ways ...could be beneficial !!!!

Especially if he has a beard tooWink

apintofharpandapacketofdates · 04/07/2016 13:57

Dame you made me laugh!!

theredjellybean · 04/07/2016 14:01

laughing too....maybe if my exh had tried harder ..or actually tried at all he might not be exh ! though real problem was he didnt really fancy women but thats another story

UmbongoUnchained · 04/07/2016 14:03

A beard? I don't understand?

I think you mean "YES!!" Wink

UmbongoUnchained · 04/07/2016 14:13

I hands up admit I'm shallow but I could never date a man with a beard!!

OP posts:
UnGoogleable · 04/07/2016 14:14

Oh poor guy - I think your friend should go for it.

Having spent years in an almost sexless relationship with a man who thought that sex constituted of climbing on, thrusting for a few minutes, then climbing off - and I'm willing to bet millions of couples have similar boring sex - I'd say there is a whole world of other stuff they could enjoy together and that a dick isn't the be all and end all.

wornoutboots · 04/07/2016 14:14

my ex had a larger than average penis. but that was all he knew to do in bed. I'd rather a small penis on a man who cares, loves, and enjoys all aspects of sex than my ex's large penis on a man who neither knows nor cares to learn about anything other than PIV.

Sirona · 04/07/2016 14:14

Wouldn't bother me. I've dated men of various different sizes and some women, back up dementedunicorns there's plenty of other things you can do Wink It can sometimes be associated with other conditions such as kleinfelters (boys born with XXY chromosomes)

TrappedNerve · 04/07/2016 14:17

One of my ex's told me he had a micropenis and I knew exactly what it was as had watched a programme about it.
Turns out it was quite the opposite but he wanted to see how I would reactHmm
Funnily enough we didn't last long...

GabsAlot · 04/07/2016 14:18

i think its shallow theres other things u can do anyway
