Year 11 GCSE thread continued!

We seem to have reached the limit on the other one!

He seems perfectly calm about it, though did say he thought his teacher had lied about it being fine...it was hard!

I suppose my thinking is if he gets a C then he won't be pushed to resit next year...I would much rather he got to something else for additional studies.

DD did stats this afternoon.
If she attained about half marks in her controlled assessment (she had hints that she actually did much better than half) Then she only needed 36/36 marks out of 100 today to get a C. Approx 50/52 for a B.

Aaah that is for AQA.

He doesn't really know tbh!

But says he didn't do a controlled assessment.

Sigh. Just don't want him spending precious time next year faffing about just for the school to look good!

Ach, sorry, DD is doing AQA.

Right, that was a clear as mud! but clearly Edexcel do do controlled assessments too.

that mean not through school to enrollment GCSE in UK.

You need to find a place (a school or college) where you can sit the exams. They will send the exam entries. There are colleges of further education where you can sit the exams. Think about where you want to sit the exams and then look up colleges.
